Chapter 62.

An hour later. I was back in my room, fully showered and changed into my favorite pajamas. Everything in my room was still the same way I had left them weeks ago.

I strolled over to the window and pulled up the curtains a little, just looking outside and into the empty street below. I gasped in panic when I thought I saw a figure zap across the tall shrubs in a quick flash.

It happened so fast that I was stunned, not knowing what it was but I could totally swear something or someone was just there for a briefly second before it just disappeared.

  Gosh.

I quickly moved away from the window just as fast with shaky breath before glancing at my reflection in the mirror momentarily for a second. My hair was still damp from the shower and I just ran my fingers through it, still trying to distract my thought a little.

I really can't be freaking out right now. My parent are down in the kitchen. If anything, they'd be here for me.
