Chapter 5 Meet Anna Again

At noon, the house was very quiet.

"What are you thinking about?" Lisa and Lucas sat in the study. Drinking a cup of tea, Lisa said, "In our plan, we can do it even if we don't have Haley. The more one person, the more risk we may face."

"It doesn't matter to add her, does it?" Lucas sat in front of the window and picked up a sprout from a tree that was about to reach into the house.

"Tsk," Lisa sniffed but didn't believe it. Lucas was not a person who liked to make trouble. If he didn't need her help, he wouldn't even appear in front of her.

What they said to Haley was half gone. Michaelson was indeed Lucas's uncle, but Lisa was not Michaelson's biological daughter.

"Lucas, I'm your fiancée," Lisa said, showing no concern on her face.

"Not when you sign your name on the Michaelson clan name, my sister." Lucas put the tender sprout in front of Lisa.

Lisa smiled and looked up to acquiesce. Lisa was Lucas's cousin. As an outsider of Lisa, it was more tempting to be the heir of Michaelson's family than to be someone's wife with first love.

"I've already sent someone to tell my father about it. After all, if she is going to have a private class, she has to have a name," Lisa changed the topic. "This time, Haley is not the only one who is going to have a class in Michaelson's house. I hope everything goes well."

To prepare for school, Haley went out early to buy clothes, stationery, and so on under the arrangement of Vivian.

"This is the list of the ladies who attended the class with you from Master Lucas." In the carriage, Vivian handed a piece of paper to Haley and pinned a little fresh rose on Haley's collar.

"Are these all from the Michaelson family?" Haley looked at the list in surprise.

"There are so many branches of the Michaelson family, and some of the branches don't have the strength to hire tutors, so they are sent to the direct line for classes." Vivian thought for a while and continued to explain, "Although there are public schools in the city, there are many social activities in the Michaelson house, and it's easier to seek kinship in the name of the Michaelson family."

Haley understood. Although she had been in a war for many years, she had a general understanding of these things. The Michaelson family is an old-school aristocracy who maintained the clan by political marriage, and the Bolton clan was a new style aristocrat that was honored with the new emperor's battles.

"I hope you won't be embarrassed then." Compared with Haley, Vivian was more worried.

"Don't worry. I won't make any trouble..." Haley promised confidently. Before she could finish her words, Haley slid from here to there with the emergency brake of the carriage.

"Whose carriage is it? Will it grow a pair?" A sharp voice came from the front of the carriage.

"What happened?" Vivian held Haley and asked the coachman outside through the small window of the partition.

"Sister Vivian, she suddenly appeared from the side of the road. The carriage almost stopped." The coachman was still young. He said in an aggrieved tone in the face of the sudden accusation.

"I'll go downstairs to have a look. Take good care of the carriage and don't let anyone else disturb the lady." Vivian told the coachman to open the door and get off.

Seeing a dressed maid coming down, the owner of the voice was sitting on the ground and wouldn't let her go. "You have to compensate for so many broken things!"

The people outside were arguing with Vivian. Haley looked out of the window of the car. The voice of the spirited woman sitting on the floor sounded so familiar.

Haley compared them in her mind and was sure that they were Anna's servants. The sharp voice was exactly the one who had helped Anna every day. What she said next proved her guess.

"Miss Anna is in a hurry to get something. If you break it, you have to pay double!" The woman said aggressively.

Haley looked at the woman outside carefully. She had a delicate face, thin shoulders, and thin waist, similar to Anna.

Vivian tried to persuade her, but the woman looked more and more arrogant. She saw that it was an ordinary carriage without the family logo, and from the window, it was just a child of a few years old. She passed Vivian and walked towards the carriage, trying to open the door.

Haley looked coldly at the woman rushing to the door, and suddenly a smile appeared on her face. What she had learned from them before seemed to have a chance to use it on herself.

When the woman was about to pull the door handle hard, Haley opened the door. The woman whose strength was used up fell to the ground in an instant. At this moment, there were more and more onlookers.

Haley lowered her eyes, pretending to be scared. When she got off the carriage, her tears fell. "We didn't mean to bump into you who came out of nowhere."

Although the woman was not strong, compared with the thin Haley, she looked like a real bully.

"Don't cry! It's your fault! It's your problem!" the woman looked at the crowd's strange eyes and hurried to pull Haley, but was stopped by Vivian.

"Our daughter is only a few years old. Why do you bully her?" Vivian said in a gentle voice, with a warm look on her face.

"Why did you hit the carriage yourself and let others compensate? What's the logic?" A man's voice came from the crowd, and the onlookers responded.

"You!" The shrewish woman still wanted to struggle, but Haley, who was "frightened", staggered and hit her pain point with her elbow. The sudden pain made the woman's face even more distorted.

"What are you doing?" A more familiar voice came from behind the crowd. The red dress was particularly eye-catching, and the onlookers all stepped aside.

"Miss Anna!" The woman was overjoyed. Seeing her backer, she seemed to be more confident.

Seeing the familiar figure in front of her, Haley lowered her eyes to hide her strong hatred.

After listening to the description of the scene in a few words, Anna put away the folding fan, bent down, and smiled. "It's my maid who scared you. Let's see what you are going to do with it."

"Miss, please take her away. Don't block the way anymore." Vivian put the woman away and stood in front of Haley.

"My lady!" The woman seemed to want to say something, but Anna glanced at her and stopped her.

Anna walked up to Haley slowly, gathered her hair, and said softly, "It's my servant's fault. Please forgive me."

If Haley hadn't seen Anna's true colors, she would have thought that she was comforting her.

"It doesn't matter," said Haley in a low voice, resisting the urge to punch her.

After several rounds of pretending, the crisis was finally solved. Seeing that Anna had taken the woman away, Haley got into the car again.

"What a waste of time!" Sitting in the car, Vivian breathed a sigh of relief. She looked at Haley, who was holding the crushed roses in her hands. "Miss, how did you make the roses like this?"

"I was too nervous just now and broke it accidentally." Haley clapped the roses in her hands and said innocently.

Vivian took it seriously. She was more dissatisfied with Anna and her servant.

"Let's go, Vivian. We still have a lot of places to go today." Haley urged, in a good mood.

However, she was not the only one who was allergic to roses. Like her cousin, Anna was also forbidden to touch them. Even if it was only on her dress, it was enough for her to be sad for a long time.

In the evening, Anna's exclamation resounded through the sky in the Burritt house.

On the second day, the news that miss Anna was allergic to red and swollen spread around.
