CHAPTER 49

  Alan’s POV

My heartbeats quickened when I could hear his footsteps and the strong scent of the wolf coming closer and closer. I shut my eyes tightly and tried to control my breath. I thought it was over when the wolf finally got to where I am staying but just then I heard his footsteps scurrying away.

I didn’t even waste time in coming out immediately. As I walked back to the window, I could hear the noise. I strained my ear and all thanks to my sensitive wolf ears, I heard what the commotion was all about.

Seems like they started discovering the dead bodies of the wolves and that means I don’t have much time left. I have to get her soon and take her out of here or I am never going to make it alive.

Even if I do make it alive, I might not be able to see this chance to capture her again cause I am sure that the security around her will intensify.
