Ezra’s Point Of View.
I WOKE up feeling my head aching. I didn’t need to look around to know where I was. The color of the room and the interior design was enough for me to tell. The place looks familiar to me — as if it’s my bedroom.
Although I’m feeling weak, I forced myself to stand up and walk around the room. My eyes widened when I saw my pictures on the wall. This is my room. Does that mean I’m here at home?
Wait, what’s going on?
I gripped my head with constant pain as I recalled what had happened earlier.
There was a knock on the door so I opened it, thinking Kiana had returned to get her phone.
To my surprise, someone suddenly covered my mouth and injected me. Until it got dark all around and I fell on the floor.
I covered my mouth in sudden realization. “Oh, no!”
I tried to open the door but it was locked on the outside. I made a loud noise instead because I know someone can hear me.
