CHAPTER 31 Plan

  Ezra’s Point Of View.

DAWN has been set but until now, I’m still fully awake or should I say, I still can’t seem to sleep. I did everything — I closed my eyes, covered my face and entire body with a blanket, hoping to feel drowsy, but none of it worked after trying multiple times.

I’ve been having trouble sleeping these past few days. Insomnia is not the one attacking me but the perturbation I am feeling for Kiana and the seven.

I am more upset and worried about their condition than mine. Like, what is happening to them now? Are they safe and in a better, comfy place? I hope they don’t bother to look for me and take action if they notice me missing and nowhere to be seen. I don’t want any of them to get hurt because knowing Mom, she won’t let it slide once she discovers that they are the people who helped me escape and lie low.
