CHAPTER 32

  “Go out.” I stood up and opened the door for him. “Leave me alone. I don’t accept guests or anyone at the moment.”

  Instead, Raiko closed the door and blocked his body there. I stepped back and wiped the cold unknown sweats plopping down from my forehead. I want to get out of here as soon as possible.

  “You’re so rude, Ezra. After four months of being away from here, it’s only now that we’ve met again and that’s how you greet your fiancé?” The edge of his lips perked up.

  “I don’t care,” I said bluntly, despite the quavering voice. “Stop dreaming, Raiko. We won’t be a married couple because I don’t have plans to be your wife and I won’t marry you.”

  He turned serious and shot me an intense stare after what I said. I knew it. No doubt, he still hasn’t changed. He’s the same Raiko I knew.

  I shook my head and smiled wickedly at him. “If you’re thinking that I’ll agree to this arranged marriage, then think again. Because I will never ever marry someone that I don’t love.”
