CHAPTER 162

I turned on my heel now facing Darrius again. He sat there slumped, bloody and half alive. I could care less though. I had no sympathy for a man like him. I picked up the watch, thumbing the face, took a deep breath, walked up to him, extended the claw from my index finger, and pierced it right through the side of his head, through his temple. Twisted my finger and then retracted my claw.

Immediately his body slumped. I had ended his life. And I felt nothing of it. I put Kellen’s watch in my pocket and walked out.

Once I reached outside I took several deep breaths and blew them out harshly while bent over grabbing my knees, trying to regain my composure. Duke was kicking up a fuss pushing to come out, wanting to destroy everyone and everything after finding out what had happened to our best friend and King. He was out for more blood, Darrius’ death not satisfying him in the least.
