Chapter 4

Daina panted and gazed at me while wearing blood-stained rags on the competition field.

I congratulated her on winning.

"Today you performed well. Thanks."

Daina grinned and wiped her lips.

Alex:

I saw Daina at trial.

Despite looking horrible, she was pleasant.

Despite her shabby attire, she constantly caught my eye.

I hoped she'd be chosen for elite werewolf training so I could be closer to her.

As the future Alpha, I knew I'd be chosen from the list of three.

Before the tournament began, I was anxious about Daina.

She arrived quickly. She looked sexier with bruises.

"Alex, you still have a chance. Win her heart. You'll succeed,"

my wolf, urged me. I was irritated.

Why did I, an Alpha, have to win someone's heart? It hurt me.

I said, "Shut up. I simply want her body. I don't want her as my mate."

I watched Daina throughout trials.

Surprisingly, she performed brilliantly and captivate the audience.

Sophie and Alice attacked her in the last round.

At first, I simply watched them fight, but then I helped Daina.

"Congratulations, Alex, Daina, and Sophie!" You're chosen.

Prince Stephan Buther will give elite medals.

We wait for the prince to reward us on the tournament field.

Daina was hurt. Her hair was disheveled and she was bleeding, yet her aura was so bright that everyone was awestruck.

She was attractive and strong, but I wouldn't pursue her.

She was an Alpha's daughter.

Sophie was no match for her.

I regret dismissing Daina after reading this.

Now that we were going to training together, I'd have time to win her love.

Daina would return.

I didn't mind that Prince Stephan Buther had a secret mate.

I want to get stronger with his help. He want to keep our mate bond to satisfy his mum.

Three days in my gloomy room.

I'm not bothered since the training list.

Then, my wounds healed. We wait for Prince Stephan Buther before leaving.

William and Luna were there.

I had mixed feelings  I left the group gladly.

My mother's jewelry was stolen.

Sophie planned fiercely next to me.

When Prince Stephan Buther arrived, said, "Daina shouldn't train with us; she's a thief!"

  My teeth gnashed.

Prince Stephan Buther's family emphasized politeness.

If I assault Sophie, I may lose my special training eligibility.

"I'm not a thief." I responded gently.

My calm scared Sophie.

It was taken, she claimed. "

"Shhh!"

Sophie blushed.

Afterward, she realized how disrespectful she'd been.

"Daina! Responsible! "

I ignored her and watched the prince.

"If you don't believe me, send someone to search for her bracelet with me, but first ask Sophie what it looks like."

Sophie told Prince Stephan Buther.

"Diamond "Sophie trembled.

The prince said, "Go with her."

"Yes,Mr.Stephan Buther."

Two servants helped me find Sophie's jewelry.

The prince stopped Sophie from following us with a glance.

She froze and paled.

I found my mother's bracelet and proved my innocence.

Sophie's room was searched for anything I could have missed.

Is this Sophie's bracelet?

One servant asked me about my diamond jewelry.

"Yes!"

Stephan Buther waits.

"Okay."

I left the room searching.

As we entered the hall, everyone turned. The bracelet was given by a servant.

Sophie tensely eyed the gems.

Daina wasn't responsible for her missing valuables.

"Miss Sophie pulls pranks, right?"

"Can you return mine since you found yours?"

I asked, gathering strength.

Sophie seemed determined to kill me for my mother's bracelet.

"Whoa!

"What's a slave's stuff worth? You probably lost it and blamed me. No way!

I want to hit Sophie for her bad logic.

I looked at the other she-wolves to remember she wasn't alone.

These werewolves hid, afraid I'd ask them to testify.

"We saw nothing," one says.

"Nothing was seen!"

Sophie shouted arrogantly when no witnesses were present.

Sophie wouldn't acknowledge anything, so I let it go.

"Daina, get ready. Sophie, you made a false charge; you can't attend special training."

I got my jewelry another way.

"Please forgive Sophie's moment of madness, Mr. Stephan Buther."

Luna Elizebeth pleaded with the prince to let Sophie attend.

I was nervous.I feared Prince Stephan Buther might alter his mind.I knew I couldn't be calm with Sophie around.

Everyone await the prince's verdict.

The prince calmly regarded me.His keen gaze made me shiver.

After a lengthy quiet, he murmured, "Okay." I gazed at Prince Stephan Buther in shock.

Who knows? Sophie slandered me, and it was known that the family values morality above anything.

How could she attend special training? I could only assume the prince pardoned her for Alpha William and Luna Elizebeth.

Even the family needed diplomacy.I gulped and glanced at Sophie, who smirked.

Sophie must publicly apologize for slandering Daina.

Sophie's face looked like she'd been smacked.

She was furious.

"You expect me to apologize to this poor slave?

" she said furiously. Yes! My apology is unnecessary.

You may apologize or skip the training.

He said coldly.

Sophie exploded.

"Sophie, apologize. The prince will compromise once, but not again. You know how crucial this training is. You can't miss it."

Luna Elizegently convinced Sophie.

Sophie eventually gave up.

An apology is nothing compared to getting excluded from special training.

Sophie tightened her teeth and spoke through thin lips.

"Sorry."

"What? Your voice is too quiet, I remarked.

"Sorry!"

Sophie yelled.

A feeling of fulfillment calmed my wrath.

Prince Stephan Buther letting Sophie attend training irked me, but at least he helped me get even by forcing her to apologize.

I hissed at Sophie, "I'm only a slave, but you must apologize."

"You don't appear nobler than me, do you?

Sophie was angry by Prince Stephan Buther's statements, but she didn't lose her temper.

I knew she wouldn't let me live peacefully after training, but I wasn't frightened.

Fate couldn't make me give in.

Training start today.

Jason gathered us to underline the need of discipline and present the training.

He then sent us home to relax.

We'd just arrived. Training starts tomorrow.

Prince Stephan Buther ordered me to remain at the training field after the trainees left.

Other trainees departed one by one.

Sophie gloatedbefore departing.
