Chapter ５

Jason went at Prince Stephan Buther's request, leaving me, the prince, and his two attendants at the enormous training area.

I welcomed Prince Stephan Buther, "Mr.Stephan Buther."

"As usual," Stephan Buther asked coldly.

Prince Stephan Buther nodded.

Then he point to the obstacle course\ " complete it in 20 seconds."

On the large field were three-step piles, a ditch, a low wall, a high jumping platform, a single plank bridge, and a high wall.

How can I finish ? I'd need wings to fly above them.

"What? Disagree? Prince Stephan Buther.

I ran to the field without waiting.

It was imprudent to challenge Prince Stephan Buther's judgments.

Prince Stephan Buther kept me on time.

First time around, I needed two minutes.

When I told Prince Stephan Buther the time, he blushed.

Soon, my clothing were dripping with perspiration.

I smiled despite being fatigued.

I wasn't shocked when he asked me to see her, but I felt uncomfortable.

The only clothing I had were the worn-out rags I'd carried from Green woods bag.

Those were my slave garments.I couldn't wear such things to Mrs. Elizabeth Stephan Buther, much alone as her son's partner. Nervous, I gripped my garments.

Prince Stephan Buther's comments made me sigh with relief.

In the afternoon, I arrived to the coastal port where Prince Stephan Buther's boat was moored.

He prepared my clothing.

I changed into a court-style dress in the yacht's stateroom and circled the mirror elegantly.The dress's hemline had golden threads that sparkled in the light.

Prince Stephan Buther's fashion sense surprised me.The clothing and jewelry were lovely and nice.

Stephan Buther was resting against the deck railing with his arms folded as I opened the cabin door.

He gazed at me with admiration.

"Is it OK?"

He remarked, "You're wonderful."

"You have excellent taste, Mr. Stephan Buther," I grinned.

Prince Stephan Buther invited me to sit at the front, which surprised me.

"Okay."

Prince Stephan Buther opened my car door.

As I got into the vehicle, I felt flattered. I knew he'd be kind to his future wife. The Stone river pack'sl mansion was lovely.

Despite being prepared, I was startled by the palace's beauty.The towering towers covered a large area on a seaside cliff.

The design was mysterious and gloomy.The castle glowed golden beneath the sun.

I couldn't help but stroll with confidence amid these skyscrapers.

When Stephan Buther and I stepped out of the automobile, various servants helped us with our stuff.

Prince Stephan Buther planned a present for Mrs.Stephan Buther while I didn't have one.

Unlike the packs I used to live in, the palace was spotless.

They didn't look down on me since I was an average werewolf.

After numerous hallways, I found Elizabeth in an excellent room.

Daina's POV:

Elizabeth looked gaunt and weary in her beautiful gown.

She was unhappy after learning Prince Stephan Buther had a wife.

"Daina?"

Elizabeth sprang up and rushed to greet me.

"Hi, Mrs. Stephan Buther," I curtsied.

She held my hand and chuckled, "Don't be too formal."

"Hunger?ou must eat."

I didn't want to agree too quickly, so I looked to Stephan Buther, who nodded.

"Don't go home tonight. He's finally found a partner. Stay with me for a while."

Prince Stephan Buther reminded her, "Daina must train tomorrow."

"Let's eat"

Elizabeth smiled and clutched my hand hard while ignoring her son.

I was surprised by her kindness.

My mum would be the same age if she were living.

The meal wasn't as stiff and stuffy as I expected, although Elizabeth's open-mindedness may have helped.

We spoke till night.

The sky became black and rained after supper.

Prince Stephan Buther insited on bringing me to Marge Island, so Elizabeth and I left.

As we were about to go, Elizabeth's maid raced over w and stopped Stephan Buther.

"Mr.Stephan Buther, your mother's sick. Come see."

Stephan Buther and I ran inside the palace.

The court doctor was examining Elizabeth in her chamber.

Later, he told Mr. Stephan Buther, "Your mother's well."

Stephan Buther and I sighed with relief then.

Elizabeth responded, clutching my hand, "You may stay here tonight."

I couldn't resist her, and after a second.

To care for her, Stephan Buther and I kept close.

"Mr.Stephan Buther, don't you want another room?

"No need"

Stephan Buther knew Elizabeth was having us sleep in the same room on purpose, so he didn't resist.

He appeared frigid but was truly kind.

I went around the room after entering to avoid being alone with him.

Large room with adjoining bathroom, washstand, French windows, and walk-in wardrobe with women's clothing.

Some of the new, seductive outfits made me feel ashamed. "These are all your size. I think my mom bought them for you,"

Stephan Buther said, He was seating on the couch and staring at me.

The huge bed next to him was decked with heart-shaped flowers.

On the floor were candles, and the chandelier above him gave out an intoxicating light.

Overall, the room was for newlyweds.

Prince Stephan Buther whispered, "My mother's outside."

"Eavesdropping?"

I was shocked.

She's crazy! Prince Stephan Buther nodded yes.

At this moment, I want the floor would swallow me whole.

"Go to sleep," said Prince Stephan Buther, handing me the bed.

I knew Prince Stephan Buther would find it difficult to share a room with me.

How could he let his mother overhear anything else? I shook my head and laid down.

I was scared I wouldn't be able to sleep in the same room as Prince Stephan Buther despite the bed's luxury.

I fell asleep easily and slept well.Staying with Prince Stephan Buther was comfortable.

The following morning, Prince Stephan Buther and I returned to  before daybreak.

I ran to the training area .

Training start today.
