POV: Ikeda Akihiko
"Mayumi!?"
Mayumi, ever since she came here, she's been asleep. We're lucky that Sir Kunio is there. Else, she would've become a wet trench hanging on the creek. As her far relative, I can't bear to see her in that state.
Her body is surprisingly blue from head to toe like she's been losing oxygen circulation. It's still a surprise that she's still alive.
"Sir Kunio… Thank you for saving our friend. I don't know how I can pay you for all of the problems we brought," I said with my soft eyes filled with an inner shine.
"That's not a big deal, you know. Stop being so formal with me. I'm not a professor, an official, or something," Sir Kunio joked with a laugh. "If you want to be thankful to us, you should finish this game."
"We definitely will. I can't bear seeing someone die. But what about you, sir? Why are you telling us this?"
