The Factor of X

Donning a dumbfounded deadpan, Horus tagged along like how she was supposed to. Beside him, was Licarus who joined the march on the farthest rear. Feeling rather lost, Horus wanted to converse with the boy, only to be greeted with a scary cold expression that gazed at the world farther than anyone she had seen before.

"By the way, who the hell is this X you're talking about back then?" asked Roger.

"I already told you. He is an old friend of mine."

"Is X really his name?"

"Isn't it obvious? Of course it is."

"I thought you would say," Roger imitated my closed eyes and eerie smile. "'It is his initials, you don't really think that someone would put a single letter as their real name, won't you?'."

"You added an extra layer to my personality that didn't even exist."

"You gave off that creepy vibe back then. It is a surprise for sure, but a welcomed one."

"I'm starting to get concerned if you're attracted to things like that."
