The Final Battle (1) - 15

I actually hadn't seen him that much when I had stayed at Shinobu's house due to our schedules and training places being drastically different, so I didn't actually know his true power and what he could do.

The real problem for me, was Nezuko, who was standing behind him.

You see, her flames would be very, very annoying if I were to face them.

This, combined with her immense growth rate during battles was a huge bane for me, as she could literally destroy my regeneration if she had enough time to get back up and learn how to do so.

And, even more, she had horribly efficient blood control and regeneration abilities, making it so that it was almost impossible to kill her.

Also, my nichirin chokuto couldn't do anything as she was resistant to the sun.

Overall, she was basically an overpowered character to begin with, with her only weakness being the amount of sleep that she needed.

So, the plan was to make it so that she couldn't engage with me whilst I was fighting with Tanjiro.

I mean, I wouldn't kill him because I would have to go to the next world afterwards, and I hadn't found my sister yet, we actually hadn't talked with each other with me being me since that night that we did that.

Anyways, I initiated my blood demon art.

"Blood Demon Art: Motionless World."

Immediately, everyone felt a peace of mind that they had never felt before, their internal subconscious world projecting to them an image of a pond without any ripples breaking the surface, up in the mountains, a low mist hanging above it.

Using this moment, I immediately ran over to Tanjiro, and then threw him as far as I could; he probably reached the ocean.

As she saw this, Nezuko immediately ran off, and well, the greatest hinderance to my plans was gone.

Then, I started my one sided massacre with the other three demons.

...

"Huff... huff... huff..."

I looked over the blood filled battlefield, the bodies of thousand of demons slayers creating a gruesome painting across the dry, cracked ground.

"Where are Hantengu and Douma?"

"Dead, the Insect and Water Hashiras got them." Replied Kokushibo.

"Well, in return, we were able to kill all the other Hashiras... I've already figured out where they've gone, let's go finish this once and for all."

As we phased away, the battlefield was finally empty of any living beings, as crows starting descending from the skies to feast on the bodies, the beating sun already starting the rotting process.

...

Ubuyashiki Family House:

"We're here."

Not bothering to hide our approach, we walked out in the open and thought about ways we could destroy the entire building.

But, before we could reach the gates, there stood the last stand, the last group standing between us and the destruction of the Demon Slayer Corps.

Not caring about Giyu, I turned to Shinobu and asked,

"Do we really have to fight? I don't really want to kill you."

"Oh, but how many have you killed by now?"

"Hmm... About 700,000 humans?"

"Well, I would have loved to not fight you, but unfortunately, that number is just a tad bit high."

"Well, I figured you were going to say that, so at least, don't make the two girls behind you fight?"

"They are here of their own volition." Cut in Giyu, breaking the civil conversation coldly.

"Well then, let's start."

Not giving them any time to prepare, I beheaded both of them.

The two girls just stared in shock as the heads of the two hashiras flew into the air and their headless bodies fell forward onto the ground with a resound thud.

Then, not even a second later, I turned and beheaded Kokushibo, killing him as he blew into the wind as ashes.

Again, my actions made the two girls astonished, their mouths gaping open as they just stared at me.

Then, standing there, looking in the opposite direction of them, I took off the black mask that had been covering my face this entire time, turning around and showing my full face to Kanao for the first time.

On the other hand, Yasu didn't even think as her body reacted by itself, as she launched herself at me.

My body also reacted by itself as I caught her in my arms.

Hugging each other tightly, she just started crying, not being able to speak out about her sorrow.

"Did you miss me?" I asked jokingly.

Pushing her face away from my shoulder, she puffed out her cheeks poutingly, as she realized that she was the one overly showing affection for the other.

And then, I could see it in her face, as her expressions started changing at lightning speeds, processing the fact that I was in fact, a demon.

In the end, her expression ended up as a slightly disappointed one, but one that was still loving and a little shocked.

"You wanna see my teeth?" I asked, still trying to lighten up the mood.

She slapped me in the back of the head, and reading her eyes, I could tell she was trying to say something along the lines of, "You dummy!"

Instead of reciprocating her act of violence, I picked her up and spun her around, our foreheads touched against each other as her beautiful giggles resounded throughout the surrounding area, filling up my mind.

She truly was the most beautiful girl in the entirety of this universe.

Finally stopping my spinning, she smiled a bright smile and leaned her head in.

I also smiled, smiling brighter than I ever had in the past few years, and we kissed, feeling the familiar sensations of each other's lips.

Giving each other some tongue, she explored into my mouth and felt out my canines.

What? I was just showing my teeth to her like I said before...

Finally, we broke apart the kiss and just stared into each other's eyes like a couple of young lovebirds.

Well, we actually were a young couple, so I guess it was normal.

But honestly, I had been a little bit surprised by her reaction, as I didn't think that she would hook back up with me this fast, but I felt happy that she did, knowing that I would always have her supporting me no matter what I did or who I became.

After all, I was still her brother, and she was still my sister, all the way to the end of time.

That was how deep our love went, I mean, it was in our blood after all.

There was just no denying it.

Finally, we removed most of our bodies from each other and held hands, looking over at the person that had been third wheeling this entire time.

"Kanao..."

A/N: I'm going to be updating this every other day now cause I have more time after getting used to my school schedule.

I've already deleted the schedule from the auxiliary volume, so yeah, expect chapters every other day.

Actually, I lied, the biggest reason for this change is that I'm going to end the Demon Slayer volume with the next chapter, because honestly, it was becoming a chore, and I'm not very familiar with the Demon Slayer universe myself, so I'm about ready to get into some extremely familiar territory.

This will make it a lot easier for me to come up with ideas, so yeah, expect better content I guess.

That's all, have a great day guys.
