Who is she?

ONE WEEK LATER Bryan laid back in his bed. It had been a whole hell of medication and supervision, his grandma had gotten him out of hospital and back home where he met Daisy and Mrs. Yumaa. Nothing had changed, at least in his eyes.

Days turned to normal as Mrs. Yumaa would always sneek in to ghost scare him. "Nah, I'm used to it." Bryan would show displeasure from her hard kiddish work. He thought after moments of daze before pulling the covers over and fall asleep. Not even able to recall what he thought.

It was still in the wee early morning when he woke up suddenly after a dream he just forgot. He closed his eyes again trying to reminisce the sweet memory he felt. He couldn't get asleep again no matter what. His hand was sealed in a plaster cast as his other hand had in a bandage.

'I have the same dream everyday.' He wondered. Everyday he would dream making love with a girl infront of a cave at night under the moonlight. He would see himself kissing and romancing her as they waded through and at points trip in the water, though shallow, they would just stay in there and make love. The worse part is that, each time he woke, he won't remember a word or the face of the girl in his dream, even after some time, the dream would fade and make him feel like he couldn't remember the whole scene.

This did really frustrate him.

With nothing to do, he got out of bed and sneaked into the kitchen. Everyone was asleep at this hour. The house was all but quiet as he poured some milk in a glass and took it down in a single gulp.

He walked into the living room switching on the tv but turning it on mute so as not to disturb the old upstairs .

Soon the movies being aired came to an end almost simultaneously. He felt bored as he decided to go back to bed. He fell Asleep almost as immediately as he took hold of the beddings. This time he did not wake any early as he had already weed.

Three hours later,

Mrs. Yumaa hummed in the kitchen as she prepared breakfast. All songs she sang being the obvious ones but her tone made them all sound as a remix. A knock on the door suddenly brought her back into herself.

'Whose calling at this hour???' Mrs Yumaa complained as she went to check.

"Hello, how may I help you." Mrs. Yumaa asked as she pulled the door open only for her get out.

"Is Bryan in? A beautiful pumped girl asked. She was in a red hood printed in bold in the front,'i love NYC.

"And who are you?" Yumaa asked. Everyone in the house knew Bryan had to be kept here secretly since he did mess with terrorists.

"Welcome in Abi." Mrs Yumaa invited her in for breakfast as she rushed to wake old miss Gindi.

"Please have some tea." Mrs Yumaa offered as she gossiped,"the owners her sleep like sloths, soo boring."

"Khekhekhe..." Abi chuckled before asking Miss old Gindi why she had ignored her and pretended not to have ever knew her.

"That would have just aroused alot of questions." Miss old Gindi did give her a better reason as she continued, "We still don't have evidence against the Governor. We need hard evidence."

The talk went on for an hour before anyone realized. Grand ma had also missed her favorite Nation talk!

Bryan walked in the room just as a hot girl talk had began. "Good morning my sweetheart." Grand ma greeted Bryan. "Good morning too nanny." Bryan replied as he took a seat. Yumaa served him too tea.

"Bryan, this is Abi. She is your friend." Grand ma introduced the girl next to her.

"Oh, I'm Bryan." Bryan extended his arm to shake the beauty's.

"I need to leave early. I have business in town." The old grand ma said energetically. Ever since, she did gained vitality, he previous signs of weakness were like just an act of the time.

"Take care Bryan. Don't let her get bored, you can show her around." Old miss Gindi advised Bryan.

"I know I know ... Yea bye nanny." Bryan ignored the advice laughing insanely as he rushed to shut the door.

"Please just understand her. She is old." Bryan apologized to Abi.

"Is ok." Abi replied with a smile.

From that day, Abi visited Bryan daily. They would just chill and vibe. Bryan got soo attached one day he asked her, "Have we ever met before?"

And to his surprise Abi had replied "Yes! I knew you would remember!"

But Bryan didn't remember any Abi from his past. This really scared Abi. Did he forget me completely? I never wanted to ditch him. I was forced to. Tears would build up in her eyes as she lacked words to ask for forgiveness. She loved Bryan, and her feelings were true.

"Do you remember the day we ran through the rain, getting all wet as we headed back to the hostels?" Abi tried getting him to remember but he just didn't remember.

"Abi, I had a car accident three weeks ago, since then i lost memory." Bryan explained.

"I also had an accident three weeks ago." Abi added.

Ever since she did started visiting Bryan, their bond had grew and revived. Bryan always felt like he knew this girl from before. 'Was she the girl who sat with her legs across his waist in the river bank at night?' He couldn't make it out, but at least he felt happy having Abi.

From the day Bryan had lost consciousness till date, a two months had passed. Erick had never been found, for kolagi, the man had met his death in the hills. A bullet to the head had ended his journey.

A girl, one who could be defined as a princess, had ever been searching for Bryan. Using her family connection, she did finally manage to locate her Bryan. The address led her into the highlands, up the hill and upto a mansion build ruling the lowland.

Her heartbeat was unrythmic as she hesitated at the doorstep. She was confused whether this was right or not. She too, not just liked Bryan, but had fallen deeply in love with him. She knew he was the guy who she did been chatting online. She checked every night on her phone, called him but his number had ever since been out of service.

The door stood like a wall, she raised her fist and knocked three times before a lady in an apron opened the huge castlelike door for her, welcoming her in.

"So, you also want to see Bryan?" The lady asked enthusiastically.

"Yeah, he is my friend." Mae answered doubly as she was led up a stair and through a corridor and towards the last room on the wing.

'Knock knock.' The maid knocked as a voice responded from inside.

"No visitors today." Mae almost felt her heart sink.

"It's one of your friends." The maid answered back before Bryan shut her up, "I said no one, no one today."

Mae looked up at her guide who sympathized her to come back another day.

"I was just joking! Open the door!" Suddenly Bryan shouted from inside. 'Your joke sucks' Mae thought as she walked inside the room.

Bryan stared at her making her looking down at the tiles.

"Who are you?" Bryan asked immediately after the maid left.

"Why don't you talk?" Bryan asked again as he realized the girl was dumb. "I lost my memories in an accident, please tell me your name." Bryan explained.

"I'm Mae." Mae answered as she pitied

her idol. She had stuck her mind to him all these day only to get forgotten.

"Oh, nice to meet you." Bryan raised his hand but Mae ignored. "What happened to you.?" She asked.

"I had an accident, partially, my memories got locked." Bryan explained again as Mae shed a tear.

"I love you Bryan." She said as she stood on the same spot. Bryan more than confused wondered who this was, and whether or not should he reciprocate.

He stepped forward and embraced her, consoling her letting her know that he will remember everything sooner.

The atmosphere was awkward. Bryan hugged her loosely but the damn girl wrapped her hands round his waist and pulled him tigher onto her.

He could see the sorrow in her eyes. He pitied her but the worst thing is that he had no feeling towards her affection.

"Is ok now. You can let go of me." But Mae won't. She began to sob as she gave stories of what had happened. "My grandfather passed away a fortnight ago, my father is missing so is mum. Am all alone, I want to stay with you. I promise I will never let go of you again." She sobbed.

Bryan got moved and hugged her back, he could feel her soft balloons pressed on his thorasis as he enjoyed the warmness. For a moment he thought of taking advantage over the girl but again condemned the thought. For how long they remained in the position, twisted in each other, they had no track of time.

Down the stairs a frequent visitor, one now who had already became a family, walker hastily up the stairs chatting on her phone .

Bryan had no thought Abi would arrive early today as the door creeked open and there at the doorstep Abi stood.

Everyone was shocked, not to say Bryan who immediately withdrew from the warmness and took a step back. Mae stared at Abi so did the latter.

No one talked for minutes until Bryan popped the balloon. "Abi, you came early,,, this is Mae."
