Just a kiss to recall.

Bryan didn't understand why he felt guilty. Like why should he tense? Abi is just a friend, Mae too. 'There shouldn't be anything wrong, right?'

"She is a friend of mine." Bryan told Abi who was showing a mixed feeling of emotions.

"To hell with Mae, who is she to you!" Abi flared as she demanded. "Who do you think you are! Get out now!" Abi screamed as the maids rushed upstairs. Mae ran to hide behind her protector as Abi dared slap her.

"Young Miss, be polite, she is the princess." But Abi heeded not their words as she promised to tear the slut to pieces.

"Stop." Bryan came to Mae's rescue as he held Abi's hand and forced her to calm down.

He glanced at Mae and a flash soared in his mind. 'Is she the girl who follows me back in my dreams?' But he couldn't think beyond that.

"Mae, please stay for the night." Bryan invited Mae causing Abi to sent an evil eye over.

"I want to have a talk with you." Bryan added as the maids escorted Mae out of the room.

"Who is that girl to you?" Abi demanded to know but Bryan just answered, "I don't know."

"Don't lie!" Abi retorted as her chest heaved up in fury. Bryan was innocent, he could remember nothing that ever happened, not even what when he was suffering from illusions and hallucinations.

"I really don't know her." Bryan said getting angry. "You don't have to rule over me like this! She is a friend!" Bryan busted out. Abi was really creating an act, she had pushed him and slammed him in the chest crying out loud. "Who is that Mae!?"

"Get out now!" Bryan could not hold on any longer. Mrs. Yumaa stood at the door witnessing all this without interfering. "Just leave," Bryan said as Abi angrily left without a word more knocking Mrs. Yumaa over the shoulder.

"Bryan, you have to rest. Girls are like that." Mrs Yumaa said resting her hand on his shoulder.

"I think I remembered something. That girl called Mae made me remember something." Bryan confessed as he asked Mrs. Yumaa to bring her in.

"Oh. That's great, should I tell missus?" She asked, missus referring to his grandmother.

"No. Please don't." Bryan trusted Mrs. Yumaa as she left the room.

He felt lost as he walked round the room waiting for the girl.

Outside the great mansion, Mrs. Yumaa ran after a girl.

"Hi. Bryan wishes to see you." Mrs. Yumaa informed Mae who had instead decided to leave. They stood on the paveway leading out.

"I don't want to see him." She said as feelings crushed her heart. "Tell him I left."

Mrs. Yumaa couldn't force her back, she was not the type to pressure someone into anything.

"Ok,not a problem. Sorry bout Abi." Mrs. Yumaa apologized.

"It's nothing much, thanks miss." Mae replied as she walked away.

"Hey!... Mae! Wait!" Bryan came rushing out. He had seen from the window up that Mae was leaving and had to ran out fast.

"Please don't leave." Mae was stunned by his words. Did he not have a girlfriend? Why is he now asking her to stay?

"No! I can't stay." Mae simply stated as she hurried off. Bryan had to follow her out of the gate and out in the fields as she walked to the bus stop.

"I need to talk to you," Bryan said trying to stop her.

"We are talking." Mae would just reply all the time and add, "I'm listening."

Did girls have to pretend to such an extend, she wanted to stay and be with him but she did the opposite.

"You made me remember something. I think I remember you." Bryan finally said as they stood waiting for the bus to town.

"What did you remember." Mae asked as she turned to look at him. Her face was angelic as her hair which she had let loose swayed in the cool wind.

"I remembered you." Bryan felt stupid as he didn't really remember her, but she had made him recall something briefly.

The girl smiled as she turned to look at the approaching bus. "The first day we met, it was on this same road to Thika. You kept ignoring me." Mae held out her hand as the bus came to a stop.

Bryan didn't remember anything about the first meeting or anything but just hopped in the bus too.

The sat at the back seats next to each other, Mae taking the seat next to the window. Bryan studied her all the way. She loved wearing miniskirts. Her thighs barely covered.

He took his hand in hers indecisively as he feared he was doing wrong. "What is it?" The girl asked as their eyes interlocked. Bryan looked into her eyes as he felt a feeling from a life he had before.

The bus rode on smoothly picking up passengers on the way.

They didn't realise till their lips touched. "Oh sorry." Bryan pulled away as Mae succumbed into him. "I missed you Bryan." She said softly. Bryan was unsure what to do. No one in the bus seemed to mind. 'Should I kiss her?' He looked at her soft pink lips as he leaned and pressed his on her's.

Time slowed down as she welcomed his darting tongue into a twist with hers. He felt his lower body stiffen as a tinkling sensation ran all over his veins. At this moment, he got lost in his own world.

He experienced a flash back as she clung tight onto him. Pulling his shirt in a grasp onto her. She returned to kiss hard and erotic. He drowned in this state pulling her right leg over his lap as he embraced her. So mannerless! In a public bus.

Flashes soared in his mind. He remembered a girl called Sela Maeia, he saw himself running in a room to save her from someone, Erick!

He suddenly pulled off from Mae. "What's wrong?" Mae asked as she licked her lower lip that had swollen.

"Tell me, have you ever been attacked?" Bryan asked stupidly as he looked at her with questioning eyes. Mae for a moment felt heart broken as she remembered that day. It was the worse day in her life. "Yes but please, never remind me of that day." She answered.

"I won't, I just remembered when we were kissing."

"Ok." Mae got bored instead of feeling happy. "When shall you remember everything?" She asked as looked pitifully at him.

"Kiss me again please." Bryan requested as he held her by the waist drawing her in.

"Hey!" Before they got into action the lady seated opposite Bryan warned them. "If you want to make love, get off the bus! I'm not doing to be disturbed by you two!" Everyone in the bus turned to look at the back. All eyes on them, at the back seat. A young boy even stood on the seat to have a better glimpse at them before laughing.

"Let's get off." Mae suggested as she felt embarrassed. "Ok." That was all Bryan said as they awaited the next stop and lightened.

"There is a Motel over there." Bryan said leading Mae across the highway. They had rest and get along, especially now Bryan was receiving pieces of memory back.

"How much for the room." Bryan asked the young woman at the counter.

"300 kes per hour." She replied ignoring Bryan's gasp.

"That's too much, we want to spend a night." Bryan complained sending Mae into terror. 'A night! What is this bastard thinking!' She screamed in her head as she over took Bryan and made a deal.

"500 kes for two hours." She said placing the note on the counter.

"Is it not a night?" The lady asked putting aside her phone.

"No!" Mae retorted embarrassed. "Ok, here is the key, room number 12. Is across there." She said pointing at the direction. There was not even a welcome to our motel or anything. But that didn't bother them. They just needed a room.

The room was not hard to locate since the motel was build with the doors facing the parking lot and in a linear pattern. They opened and stepped inside the simple room.

"So what now?" Mae asked.

"I just want a kiss." Bryan said as he came back from locking the door.

"You should have told Abi to give you." Mae started bringing up what still bothered her.

"I've never kissed her!" Bryan said as Mae gave a look of dissatisfaction. "What? You don't believe?"

"Let's get over it then. I won't blame you since your here is messed Up." She said wriggling her finger circly around her head.

"Bryan almost laughed at himself as he took her head up and kissed her again better than when they were on the bus. She did want it.

He kissed her all the way to the bed landing onto her but instead of recalling anything this time, he just felt aroused.

Back at the Old miss Gindi's place

Abi came running back. "Bryan?." She called out but no one answered. He had long left.

"He just left with the girl you met." Mrs. Yumaa informed her. Abi almost cried out as she took out her phone and made a call to him. But the phone rang in the room, he had left his phone behind.

She couldn't overcome the nasty thoughts in her mind.

'Bryan is mine! Mine alone.' She cursed as she threw herself on the bed mulling over them.
