The inner circle 2.

William Ge held his prey by the neck. A long-wished moment he had bidden his time waiting for.

"Get in the car!" The voice of Prince Ge was clear over the slopes. After having threatened the rest, he knew none would dare make a move for fear of losing their life.

"What are you doing?" Mae cried as she shuddered in fear. By now she was all but locked in the car, her blouse torn undesirable at the front.

"Listen, Mae, after this we get to share the money I told you." Prince Ge cowered over her neck as he whispered in his ears. "Once this is over, you get your share."

Mae froze on the seat as Prince Ge pulled away.

"I was not going to harm you. Sorry I was just pretending."

"You tore my blouse and almost killed him!" Mae reminded him as she saw the look on his face. His eyes locked on the heap on the chest as if it was alluring him. Sure, he coveted her.

"Don't mind about that." Prince Ge said as he turned around to warn Bryan who came noisily towards them.

"I never had a deal with you!" Mae suddenly screamed as she kicked him on the buttocks sending him sprawling out.

"Bryan don't!" The lawyer screamed at this moment as Bryan intercepted the body and smashed it with all his might on the earth.

"Bryan!" Prince Ge screamed as he tried searching for the gun he had lost in the car in his waist.

"Stop it now!" The voice of someone from the darkness commanded but the anger in Bryan filled him with Samson, like strength, blinding his judgement.

His punches covered the so said prince of Ge in blood as he spoiled his face.

Having done so, he pulled out a scalpel he had picked on his way out of the mansion earlier and used it on him.

Stabbing his neck as he scratched his face, William Ge kicked the bucket with a shocked expression.

"You killed him!" Mae sobbed as she had done nothing but watched the whole fight. No one had got the chance to stop it as it had been sudden and frightening.

"He is dead." The lawyer confirmed as he checked the pulse beat on Prince Ge.

"You killed him!" Mae cried out as she ran out of the car to hug him from the back. "You killed someone, Bryan!" She sobbed as Abi yelled for aid.

"I didn't mean to." Bryan finally whispered back as he stared at the dead body.

"Let's get out of here." The lawyer proposed as another party came in.

"It's Mrs Yumaa." Abi who had adapted to the dimness of the starless sky confirmed as a lady came running out of a car.

"Bryan!" She called out as she came into view.

"What happened?"Mrs Yumaa asked terrified as she saw the person on the ground, unmoving.

She needed no answer as she knew the person in question was already dead.

" let's get out of here now!" Mrs Yumaa spared no time to dispose of the body but get Bryan away from it.

They had to flee.

*****

"Don't talk!" Mrs Yumaa angrily turned back to Bryan.

They had long got in the car and now joined the tarmac downhill.

"Whatever you did was not right...."

"He wanted to kill us! Bryan had no option! it was an accident!" Abi tried to cover up for Bryan but Mrs Yumaa was more than worried to listen to anyone.

"What will you say to the media? Or the police!" Mrs Yumaa questioned as she turned around the corner.

"That's a roadblock." The lawyer said once the car came around.

"Remain calm." Mrs Yumaa slowed down the car as she was instructed to stop.

"Highland police, please identify yourselves." One of the cops in a reflector demanded as the other came around to check on the passengers.

"This is the boy!" Mrs Yumaaa had no time to explain herself as the cop immediately called in for backup.

"Get out of the car! Hands up!" More police around five or so surrounded them as they held their weapons.

"Hey, you!" Bryan was immediately handcuffed, and so was Mrs Yumaa.

"You are charged with hijacking a car and you boy! ... Someone ordered us to arrest you." They informed them as they took the rest too into custody.

"Uncuff him, you don't have to treat him like that!" Mrs Yumaa flared back as Bryan was brutally pulled along.

"Save your words Mrs Yumaa." A cop said as sirens drew their attention.

"Detective Jane." The person in command drove in.

"I will take it from here." Detective Jane walked on to inspect Mrs Yumaa. "You have grown bold." She partly slapped her cheeks as she now turned to Bryan.

"Why does it have to be Gindi all the time? You are causing too much havoc for the country."

Despite the Gindi being the top wealthiest in the world, at this point, it seemed they couldn't buy law or justice.

"Do you know what happened back at your home? And who killed your Granny?" Detective Jane asked Bryan.

The spot they stood by was lightened by huge bulbs fixed on the cruisers the police force used. Now Detective Jane stood a meter away from Bryan, in a dress that couldn't hide her huge protruding belly, she was months old pregnant.

"Uncuff him! But keep the woman away!"Detective Jane ordered as everyone was transported to the police post.

Now Mrs Yumaa was locked aside from them, in a different cell on a different floor.

"Bryan, it's such a pity that you still haven't realised who your enemies are." Detective Jane walked up to the cell and opened the door for Bryan to step out.

"Inspector Joe Ken wishes to talk with you." She guided him to the office set for the OCPD where he met the inspector and the OCPD for questioning.

It was so late in the night, yet it was not over for him, this was just the beginning.

"Is a pity for you Bryan. Early this morning you lost your only close family, my condolence." The OCPD who had the whole case on his desk can't speak as he gave him a chair.

"We are going, to be honest with you." Inspector Joe Ken opened up as he looked straight at him. "But first we need some information from you."

"Relax boy. We are not going to harm you. We are here to help." Detective Jane smiled as she too took a seat.

"Let's start from the day, you met Maeia." Inspector Joe Ken requested as he cracked his knuckles.

Back at the highland as an interrogation was being held at the highland police post, Hao Ge laid flat in the long grass outside the mansion.

His hand bled from a deep cut on the wrist, his body was now as weak as a twig.

The police searched the place with the help of the Gindi guards and soon left after confirming it was all safe.

The Phone in Hao Ge's pocket vibrated as he struggled to take it out.

"Hello." Hao Ge weakly answered the call.

"Are you alright? Where are you?" A voice came through as Hao Ge felt his voice weaken and instead send a quick GPS location to the caller ID before he fainted, with the phone still ringing in his hands.

Whoever made the call had to come in soon before it was too late.

Everything back at the highlands turned quieter, the neighbourhood on the highland was a sparse population hence the only help the Gindi could have gotten then was the help of the danger alert that sent a signal to the police post further away down the hill slop.

In the dark, someone drove his bike at such a sonic speed uphill.

There were still some guards and police patrolling the area when the bike came roaring.

"Open the gate!" The chief guard commanded as a policeman confirmed that it was one of them.

"I'm here for someone. Keep out of my way." The person didn't bother taking off his helmet as he strode around the compound, further away from the building with a flashlight and a locator in his other hand.

Sure. He was here for Hao Ge.

In no time he found the lifeless person in the grass and immediately called in for help.

"It's Hao Ge! Make sure he gets proper treatment and no one sees him till I'm back." The anonymous person ordered as he made sure Hao Ge was in the hand of the Most loyal cops he knew before driving off, up the hills.

"Don't let that person out of sight!" Mr Yumaa who at this hour had been injured and couldn't walk out gave the order to the guard who helped Bryan escape.

"Ok. Have some rest mister, I will have some men follow him." The guard promised as he left to attend to the matter.

"You will all pay for this!" Mr Yumaa promised as he closed his eyes. His body ached all over as he let a medic take care of him.

"Sir. It's all being taken care of." The guard reported back as Mr Yumaa sighed.

"Take care of Hao Ge too, make sure he doesn't make it alive." He ordered as a syringe was pumped into his veins.

"Yes sir."

With time, soon it was dawn. The day marked the end of Gindi's reign.

"I'm going to complete this myself." Someone decided as a car curbed to pick her up.

It was still dim and the sun was yet.
