A Fact

In the Erhan residence, a little girl came out of a tall building with a bone-white colour. She walked to the small garden beside the house. See the various butterflies that fly together to land on the flowers. The smile grew briefly, then disappeared. Her eyes were straight, staring blankly at the object. Overcast clouds dimmed her white face.

"Elfara! Youre here? I looked for you everywhere." A thirty-seven-year-old woman trotted over to the child she called. Elfara glanced briefly, then resumed her activities.

"Do you like butterflies?" Elfara was silent, not interested in answering the question of the woman who had cared for her since the baby.

"Misca, will Mommy come home tonight again?" The blonde haired girl looked confused by Elfara's question.

"Em, Auntie doesn't know, Honey. Now, Elfara goes in first, let's go! Auntie has prepared a delicious breakfast for Elfara."

"Misca..."

"Yes!"

"I'm not hungry yet!" She said softly. Misca crouched until their faces were level.

"Elfara remember what the doctor said? Elfara must eat regularly and Elfara must regularly take medicine. Elfara wants to get well soon, right?" Misca stroked Elfara's cheek, then tucked behind her ear the hair that covered part of her face.

"Okay." Elfara said. Although Elfara's words were not accompanied by a smile, Misca was happy, the child was willing to obey. She knew very well how Elfara had felt since the stabbing incident. Elfara lost her cheerfulness. Misca got up, then pushed Elfara's wheelchair slowly into the house.

In the corner of the cafe, Jess looked seriously struggling with her phone screen. The lemon juice she ordered a few minutes ago was allowed to just melt. She is busy replying to messages with several contacts on her smartphone. Moments later, jazz music rang. Jess swiped the green mark.

"Okay." One word that escaped Jessy's mouth ended the super short talk.

"Hi, Mrs. Erhan!" Jess was a little taken aback, but she quickly came to her senses. A man twenty years older than Jess landed his butt on the empty chair in front of Jess. The white-skinned man parted the hem of his coat.

"Hi, Mr. Lieutenant Brigadier Fernando!" Jess flashed a genuine smile.

"How are you?" Fernando asked.

"Yes, as you can see!"

"Oh, yeah, what do you want to drink?" offered Jess.

"Ah, no need. I'm not thirsty yet."

"Okay!"

"By the way, how is he Mr. Erhan? Long time no see, where is he? The government wants to hold a meeting with the Kingdom community." Fernando spoke while glancing at his watch.

"What?" Jess gawked at the man who served as the chief of staff of the joint armed forces. Fernando raised his eyebrows.

"I mean… didn't you say something wrong?"

"What do you mean, Mrs. Erhan? Didn't you check your e-mail?" Wasting no time, Jess opened her phone and checked her email. She read shakily, the president's official invitation to Nick and the Kingdom community. The email was sent six times on different timescales. Instantly, Jess felt a knife slicing through every vein lodged in her chest. If the government does this, it means….

"Isn't the Kingdom community in danger of being disbanded by the government?" Jessy's lips suddenly trembled, she couldn't raise her voice.

"How is it possible, a community as intelligent as the Kingdom will be eliminated? Mrs. Erhan, who gave a rumor like that?"

"Jacob! Before the media makes the police press conference!" Jess answered quietly, barely audible.

"What?"

"Jacob Alfonso!" Jess repeated her answer with a normalized intonation.

"Alfonso? How could that be?" Fernando smiled wryly. Surprise poked between the lines of his face.

"Are you kidding? How could you guys have anything to do with a mentally ill person like him?"

"Mentally ill? Seriously?" The snowflakes froze the sun on Jessy's face.

"That's how it really is. Jacob Alfonso had to be dismissed because he had a mental disorder. He was not hospitalized, but he was taking medication and undergoing therapy at home." Jessy's face suddenly looked like a hungry lion. Fernando raised eyebrows as a question of Jess's expression.

"Jacob sent Nick and his community out into the forbidden forest. And it's the fifth year they've not come home." Fernando fell into silence for a moment, then sighed and said, "I'm sorry! And for that… sorry, I can't help you!"

"Okay, thank you, Sir. I'm sorry!" Jess lifted her weight. While adjusting her chest heaving, she rushed to take her car somewhere.

In an empty building, Jess ties up a man she hates so much. She took a bucket filled with water, then threw it violently at the face of the man whose mouth was deliberately gagged with black duct tape. Jess pulled the corners of her lips when she saw the big man in front of her struggling to control his breath that had been caught in the water. Jess put one leg between the seat gap that was left between her captive's thighs, her face full of a grin at the man's expression.

"You've got your dream, and now it's time for you to play with me, dear Mr. Rexford." The man said something, but duct tape got in the way of his sentence. So he sounds like a mute. Jess chuckled.

"You said something? But in this game, only I can speak, Rex. Since you broke the rules, then you will get this." Jess took a limited edition knife of hers, then placed the sharp part against Rexford's cheek. The man's large body seemed to stiffen. His eyes bulged following the twist of the knife that Jess had deliberately played with. The man mumbled, re-doing the thing Jess hated.

"I told you, speaking is my right. You've already broken it twice, so I'll punish you twice." This time, Jess pressed the knife until the stainless steel changed color. Jess made art with a line running down both cheeks to the last layer of skin. Rexford squirmed, his sclerae turning red. Jess knew the bastard was enjoying her game.

"Psst! Don't move, it will be more delicious!" Jess pressed her index finger to her own lips.

"I will satisfy you in another part. How?" Jess dropped her gaze right at the zipper of Rexford's pants, she took a comfortable position by crouching down. Rexford tried to struggle by moving his whole body until it made a sound due to the friction between the floor and the chair legs. Jess casually unzipped and took out the contents. Rexford tried to scream. If there wasn't duct tape in his mouth, he would probably say, "No! It's the single most valuable big weapon I have."

"You remember? You didn't finish it then! My daughter suddenly comes at a time when you have not yet reached your satisfaction. Today, I will replace it. Then enjoy it, you'll know what a great woman Nick is!" Jess fiddled with Rexford's heirloom with her knife, then her fingertips tugged at the tip of Rexford's heirloom in disgust. And in a matter of seconds, Rexford's treasure was cut into two pieces. The woman cut it like cutting chicken skin. Instantly, Rexford lost consciousness. Jess looked at the blood-splattered white floor with satisfaction.

The petite woman decided to sleep in the villa after finishing her business. She obliterated everything related to Rexford Duarte before cleaning herself up. Jess sucked a stick of tobacco in the corner of the room. She stared intently at the beautiful memories with her husband that were displayed in a frame. Suddenly, an image of the past filled her head. The beautiful moment Nick proposed to her, Nick's smile, their happiness and suddenly some of her other memories displayed the sharp words of Velove as well as Rexford and Jacob's faces. All memories come and go.

Jess groaned hysterically. She squeezed out the remains of her still-lit cigarette. Her mind was confused again when she remembered the faces of those sinners. Jess grabbed a leather jacket from the wardrobe and put on gloves, a headgear, a mask, and boots. She walked outside after her body and face were completely covered. Jess rode her motorbike through the dark night along the black tarmac to Jacob Alfonso's house.

Arriving at Jacob's luxurious residence, Jess was greeted warmly by the owner of the house. The grown man looked stunning wearing a plain white casual t-shirt. His short arms show off the muscles in both arms. Jacob, with his stern eyes, looked very charismatic. How could such an attractive person suffer from a mental disorder? In fact, he looks ordinary, like a normal person in general. Not showing any strange behavior at all.

"What wind brought you here, Jess?"

"Certainly the hurricane will take your life tonight, General!" Jacob frowned, then chuckled.

"Did you just watch a movie?"

"Yeah, I've seen a stupid show. Do you know? The character in the story is sent to a crocodile pit by a military officer who is secretly mentally ill." Jess crossed her legs over the table and took a sip of Jacob's used wine. She almost threw up when she saw Jacob's suddenly pale face.

"That must be a boring story. How will it end?" He asked.

"It's very boring, the ending hangs. So I want to finish the story here."

"Jess, you're not a director. How did you come up with such an absurd plan?" Jacob looked confused.

"I'm the scriptwriter. Ah, no! Actually, you started it, but I will change the ending to my liking."

"What do you mean?"

"You forgot? You're the one who made up the story. Spreading untrue rumors about the government's attitude towards the community, then easily sending them to forbidden places."

"Jess, I..."

"Why are you nervous? I know all the facts. My job is to end the story." Jacob took a step back when Jess blew the gun he'd just pulled out of his jacket.

"Are you kidding me, Jess? It must be a toy gun, right?"

"Yes, of course! This desert eagle has pretty good abilities." Jacob's face turned pale.

Duar!

One bullet went through Jacob's leg. However, that didn't kill him. It only made a tough person like him feel a little pain. Jess wanted to play around on purpose. The woman would make him die slowly so that the man would know the pain in her heart.
