The Birth of The Devil's Offspring

Under the whistling wind, Nick's mind drifted around a memory. Nick is shackled to the name, "Jess". He was swept away in a weak pulse of fidelity. Unexpectedly, clouds rolled in the corners of his eyes. He was torn apart in an isolated longing room. Why can he forget his holy love every time he is side by side with the woman who has been washing his arid heart? Betrayal is the hallmark of a two-faced loser. And that's his current face. The turmoil in his heart gave a vibrating effect on his shoulder that someone's soft touch couldn't wake him up. Suddenly, a soft embrace warmed his body, stopping the strange waves that were tearing his heart. Nick smiled, staring at the shady face of the woman who was embracing him.

"Masma, you haven't slept yet?"

"I see you are sad. How can I sleep?"

"You should rest a lot, soon you will give birth."

"Nick!" Masma holds her stomach.

"Is it time?"

"He just kicked!" Nick stroked Masma's naked belly.

"Nick, I'll be gone for a bit. I'll be home tonight!"

"Again?" asked Nick, Masma nodded slowly.

Nick stared in surprise at Masma, who was starting to walk away. The woman always left during the day without knowing what her purpose was. Curiosity began to plague his mind. Before Masma's figure completely disappeared from view, Nick quickly followed her. Masma walked along the riverbank with a very fast movement. No woman can walk that fast with such a big belly. Taking a closer look, he discovered something else that surprised him even more. Nick narrowed his eyes to clarify what he was seeing. Masma's pair of legs are floating in the wind. The distance of an inch from the ground could not fool his eyes. Nick froze. Masma stopped at a place that could instantly reverse the logic of a rational Nick. The young man who once won a world-class motorcycle racing championship couldn't believe such a place actually existed. Nick's eyeballs sail on a bridge that connects two places separated by water.

The two sides of the river are not forests, but settlements inhabited by women who dress like Masma. Masma is seen joining the women on the bridge. They were very beautiful, but had a hostile aura. The overcast sky there was strewn with stars and dark purple vertical lines enlivened the beauty that seemed odd. How could there be a different sky in the midst of such a scorching sky? Behind Nick's piercing eyes, the lost young man began to think about Mehmet's words. Nick couldn't deny the strangeness that made the back of his neck prickle. He had to leave before they noticed his presence. However, a terrifying sight held him back. One of them threw the baby into the boiling river. An aching feeling invaded his heart. The woman treated her baby like useless trash. Nick arranged a way to get home quickly.

The color of the night has unfolded perfectly. As usual, Masma has returned with a cheerful face. Masma approached Nick's body, which was lying on the bamboo bed. The white woman laid down beside her beloved man. Nick looked at Masma's face, which was starting to turn pale, her eyes turned purplish. The woman grimaced, clutching her hardened stomach. To be honest, Nick was still thinking about what he saw. The man shuddered slightly to see Masma, but the pale face made him shake off his bad thoughts.

"Is it time?" Nick asked in between panic. Masma didn't move, as if she was busy enjoying the flavors wrestling around her stomach. The muscular man encouraged Masma. He did not know what to do while blood began to flow from Masma's genitals.

"Argh!" Masma screamed. Slowly, the color of her eyes turned red as a baby burst into tears. Nick curled his lips, looking at the baby who was now moving in his arms. Nick looked at Masma's tired face. Her eyes turned blue again. What a strange woman.

"Is our baby a girl?" Masma whispered with her breath still panting.

"He's a baby boy. So handsome like me!"

"What? No!" Masma was crying hysterically. Nick put the baby down, then took Masma in his arms.

"What's wrong?" Masma glanced at the baby briefly.

"Our ancestors forbade us to give birth to a baby boy."

"Who exactly are you?" Nick stabbed Masma with a probing look.

"I...."

"Nick, get out of here. Save our baby, he won't live with me!" Masma sobbed. Something urged her to throw Nick away. A white flash suddenly bounced into Masma's eyeballs.

"But...."

"Nick, hurry up, they're coming!" Masma hugged Nick and the baby and said, "I love you, even though I'm not human like you!"

Nick is stunned by Masma's confession, but he doesn't have time to make a sound when he sees several women flying towards their hut. Nick exited through the back door and then did everything in his power so no one could find him. He thought they wouldn't look for him, but his guess was wrong. He didn't even expect to see them up close. The sound of branches snapping under his feet caught their attention. And....

"Shit!" His feet tripped and almost made the baby cry in surprise. Meanwhile, the group of women continued to erode the distance. Nick almost gave up because his legs couldn't stand perfectly. However, unexpectedly, someone pulled him from the brink of surrender. When his eyes opened, he was already in a thick bush.

"Mehmet!"

"Shh!" Mehmet put his index finger to Nick's lips. His eyes were busy peering through the gaps in the leaves. Mehmet exhaled, seeing the dragon tattooed woman over there walking the other way.

"Mehmet, why are you here?"

"You think I'm really out of here? Do you now believe that they are real killers?"

"More than that!" Mehmet frowned.

"What do you mean?"

"They are not real humans!" Mehmet tugged at the corners of his lips.

"You should have believed my words long ago." Nick was silent, probably holding back his annoyance.

"Your baby is cute!" said Mehmet.

"It's here!" A female voice startled them. Nick froze, seeing the woman's grin.

"Nick, run!" Suddenly Masma appears, blocking the way of the group. Mehmet immediately grabbed Nick's hand to run. He didn't care about Nick's worries. Nick's panic to see Masma's defeat is useless. He couldn't possibly help her. He looked at his crying baby, then pulled away as far as he could. Alas, the woman easily reached him. The woman put on a scornful smile.

"You can't take the baby, he must die!"

"What is your problem? He is my son. I'll take care of him if you don't want a baby boy!"

"He has a bloodline from our nation. Our ancestors will be angry if he lives!"

"You are strange creatures. You kill all the males and think of them as maggots, but you take offspring from male sperm. Tsk!" Nick's sneer was right about his opponent's mentality. The tattooed woman's red eyes swallowed Nick's arrogance whole. The beautiful woman made a smacking hand in the air.

Brack!

The sound of bones came from Nick's back. His body hit the tree trunk while the baby flew into the air. The woman took the opportunity to take the baby. The sweet smile that broke out suddenly sprouted because Mehmet got the baby first. And finally, the two grown men managed to escape.

"Tch! You guys are just weak humans, whereas I am the lord of the sacred site here." The woman cast an invisible attack from a distance.

"Watch out, Nick!" Thanks to Mehmet, Nick managed to dodge. The woman didn't expect one of them to be able to read her magic.

"Nick, pray when faced with a demon. Believe me, God exists. And He will protect us. Give your baby to me, you're hurt." Nick nodded. He accepts Mehmet's suggestion.

In the midst of piled fatigue, the two youths were blocked. Somehow, the woman suddenly appeared in front of them, Nick's head throbbed. The punches were still very much felt, he felt unable to continue dealing with opponents who were not his match. Nick's gaze wandered. Spontaneous movements affect his brain to take Mehmet to a misty place. Maybe it's a suitable place to hide. Instead of finding a safe place, they met a very terrible figure. The horse-bodied creature greeted them with a bark like a dog. Saliva fell through the gaps of the teeth that ran along the tongue. Nick was astonished to find such a strange creature. The dog-shaped head has long ears that fold back. Nick's body shook when their eyes met. The pair of big eyes sticking out there managed to shrink Nick's guts.

"Calm down, Nick. I've seen a more sinister apparition of a horse dog like it. They will only be disturbed if their existence is disturbed," said Mehmet. Unfortunately, the creature has a dog's sense of smell. Their whereabouts can be traced easily. There was nothing they could do but run again.

"Oh, damn it!" cursed Nick. As if at a dead end, the place was like a circle without gaps whereas the creature had the speed of a horse. Nick could no longer support his broken leg. Suddenly, Mehmet remembered what the inland tribe had said some time ago.

"Nick, do you remember? The inland tribe once told us not to pass through a foggy place."

"Then?"

"Is this what it means to damage the eye?" Nick didn't answer Mehmet's question. Nick ran into the black fog. Mehmet immediately followed. The critters' howls sounded long together as they managed to penetrate the area that made their chests fill with smoke. At that instant, they felt a heavy impact on their bodies.
