Enhancing great generals (III)

Cain stared at Bloodless #1, pleased that the man's will and heart were just as formidable as he remembered. Even though Cain was now even more powerful than him, he still felt a great sense of awe as he saw those eyes full of conviction and determination, ready to face any danger for a cause he believed to be right.

"You and I go a long way back, and your merits on the battlefield are more than enough to qualify you for the Tribulation Enhancement. Unfortunately, if you have serious wounds, the power of the Revolution Refinement will not act properly and might even backfire."

Those last words were obviously a lie, but it was all part of Cain's plan, as he did not want people to understand the healing properties of the Tribulation Enhancement. Besides, it was also true that it would not help regrow the arm since Revolution Refinement only improved something already there.
