Alucard found himself momentarily at a complete loss for words. Throughout his countless years of existence, he had never encountered a scene as bizarre and unsettling as this. Cain had not only discovered his most deeply guarded secret but openly revealed that he shared the very same secret himself.

It took several moments for Alucard, the revered Grand Elder of the Eclipse School, to regain his composure. His eyes narrowed thoughtfully, their sharp intensity returning as he finally spoke in a calm, controlled voice.

"What exactly are you seeking?"

Cain's gentle smile persisted, but a meaningful and peculiar glint flashed through his eyes as he looked at Alucard directly.
