Disgusting Thinking

Dr. Haneul sits and rests his head on the desk. Suddenly his phone starts ringing. He glances at the caller; it was Dr. Deff. Dr. Haneul's eyes widen and take a call. "Yes, Dr. Deff? Yeah, it was me who gave Mr. Jang the file of Mr. Leon. He asked for it. Yeah, I am in my office. Okay, I'll visit you soon." He cuts the call and sighs. "What's wrong with Dr. Deff." Dr. Haneul shakes his head and opens the file of his patient. "Oh, it's complicated. I have to talk about it with Dr. Young." He takes a file and walks out of his office.

"Yeah, Baby you have to wait for it. I will bring it with me, don't worry. Now I have to go to work." Eun-Hee cuts the call and lets out a sigh. "He is such a kid." She smiles and starts work. A sudden knock on the door catches her attention; she smiles and permits the person to come in. Her smiles fade away as she sees Dr. Haneul. "What brought you here?" She says blankly without any expression and emotion on her face which makes Haneul a little pissed off. "I am here to give you this file. Mrs. Geun." He taunts her. She smiles and takes a file to his hand. "You may leave now" he glances at her in disbelief. Haneul sighs and makes his way out. He stops and glances at her before saying. "Dr. Deff called me today and asked about Mr. Leon's report." Eun-Hee's eyes frown. "Why?" A question escapes out of her mouth. "I don't know. Maybe Leon Soo-Yun wanted to know about it." She nods and continues her work. He shakes his head and steps out of her office. "Maybe, it's time to release the truth. Eun-Hee lets out a sigh and rests her head back on the chair.

Jung-Won smiles while staring at his wife's photo. "I love you so much." He caresses her face and kisses her photo. Soon-Ja smiles and feels delighted as she finally gets a job. "Thank You So Much." She bows to a person who took her interview a while ago. "It will be our honor to work with you. You are a well-educated person." She grins, making the man's heart melt. "You can join from tomorrow." Soon-Ja nods and makes her way out. "See you tomorrow." He smiles and nods his head. Don-Hyun sighs as he finally finds someone. "Boss will be happy. She is such a nice person." He smiles and makes his way to his boss. Gyeol Don-Hyun enters Geun's office without knocking the door. "Where are you manners?" Jung-Won asks him scarily. Don-Hyun gulps his salva and smiles. "I-I have good news." Jung-Won shakes his head and glances at him to continue words. "I found an assistant for you." Don-Hyun says excitedly. Geun Jung-Won rolls his eyes. "So?" Don-Hyun makes a disgusted face and rolls his eyes. "You should thank me." Jung-Won giggles as his friends get pissed off. "Yeah, yeah whatever." Jung-Won says and takes a file before heading out for a meeting. Don-Hyun follows him as well.

Jung-Won enters the house after an exhausting day. He drops himself on the couch. Soon-Ja comes to him with a glass of water. She passes him the glass and Jung-Won glances at her coldly. “Who asked you to give me water?” her smile drops. He lets out a sigh and takes the glass. “Thank You.” Soon-Ja smiles and shakes her head. Suddenly their attention diverges on the door as the car stops. Eun-Hee gets out of the car and bows before entering the house. Jung-Won's eyes frown when his gaze meets Dr. Haneul, who is smirking. “What's wrong with this man?” He shakes his head and smiles brightly at his wife. He stands up and hugs her, Eun-Hee hugs him back and after that she kisses all over his face, causing him to giggle. Soon-Ja feels uncomfortable and is about to go. “Wait,” she stops as Jung-Won stops her.

“I know you were standing here for any purpose. Speak up. I am tired and need to rest.” Her eyes widen but she immediately comes back to reality before Jung-Won's minds change. “I got a job as a personal assistant. Tomorrow is my first day.” She says excitedly. “So?” Jung-Won questions rudely, causing her to glance down. “I am so happy for you Soon-Ja.” Eun-Hee glares at Jung-Won and shares a warm hug to Soon-Ja. “Thank You. I am so thankful to you, Mrs. Geun.” Soon-Ja bows to them and makes her way to the room. “You are so rude, Mr. Geun.” Eun-Hee angrily leaves for her room. “Ya, listen to me.” he runs to her whining like a little baby.

In the morning Soon-Ja wakes up as the alarm rings. She smiles brightly and jumps out of her bed, and makes her way to the restroom for a quick shower. Soon-Ja glances at her through the mirror and puts a little light makeup on her face. She wears a simple, elegant black knee-length one-piece dress. Soon-Ja smiles and lets out a sigh. “Best of luck.” She wishes herself luck and takes her file before heading out of her room. Soon-Ja grasps everyone’s attention towards her as heels make the tick sound echo. Mrs. Young smirks as she gets something from her mind. Soon-Ja feels uncomfortable because everyone's gazing at her weirdly. Eun-Hee clears her throat, indicating everyone back to their work.

“You are looking pretty.” Eun-Hee compliments her, causing her to smile. Soon-Ja bows at her. Eun-Hee shakes her head and hugs her. Jung-Won smiles at Eun-Hee's caring behaviours. It reminds him of the old days. “Eun-Hee, honey, take a bath before going to the hospital.” Everyone frowns. “Huh?” “You hug the dirt.” Mrs. Young chuckles, Soon-Ja world shatters on her words. She gazes on the floor as ears wells in her eyes. Jung-Won tightens grip on the glass. “She steals this dress, I am damn sure.” Soon-Ja clenches her dress as anger rushes in her. “Stop it,” she says calmly. “Mrs. Young, I respect you so much, but it doesn't mean I can't stand for myself. I am so thankful to Mrs. Geun, and I always will. I am an orphan, but not a thief. Soon, I will leave this house. I can’t tolerate someone’s insult and please, I am requesting you to stop saying harsh words to me. I am also a human and as well all orphans are human. We never wished to live this life in a judgy world. This is not our fault our parents left us.” She tilts her head up and smiles brightly. “They are just unlucky because they lost us.” Soon-Ja wipes her tears away and bows before leaving them in deep thoughts.
