You're And Orphan

Jung-Won stands up after her and smiles at his wife. He kisses her head and walks away. “He didn't say bye to me.” Mrs. Young looks down sadly. “Because I told you many times not to be too harsh on Soon-Ja. It reminds him of the past. You know about what happened and why you always caused such drama? I do not want to lose my husband at any cost, please.” Eun-Hee takes her phone and steps out of the house, leaving Mrs. Young all alone. “Soon-Ja you have to pay for it. You are making my life hell.” Mrs. Young says, while gritting her teeth.

Soon-Ja lets out a sigh as she reaches in time. She bows to everyone. Gyeol Don-Hyun smiles when he sees her coming towards him. She bows him 90 degrees, causing him to chuckle. “Welcome Ms. Seon.” he bows her and shows her the way to the boss’ office. Soon-Ja gladly follows him, not knowing who is going to be her boss. Don-Hyun shows her thumbs up as she softly knocks on the door. Her heart is pounding when she hears a deep voice allowing her to come in. Soon-Ja heaves a deep breath and pushes the door. Her eyes widen when she sees Jung-Won sitting on the chair staring at her, confused. “YOU” both of them yell in shock, causing Don-Hyun to come inside. “What happened? You both know each other?” He questions, making them nod at him. “Yeah.” Soon-Ja whispers as both eyes never leave each other. “Great, it will be easy now.” he says and leaves them. Jung-Won signs her to sit. She nods and follows his commands. She closes her eyes and breaks eye contact with him. Soon-Ja places her file on the table and pushes it near to Jung-Won, who is patiently waiting. He shifts his attention to the file and takes it to read.

Jung-Won is amazed as he sees her records. “So you have graduated in business management. You can apply for the best job. Why did you choose our company as an assistant?” He questions. “I want experience. I gave a lot of interviews and they asked me about my experience.” He nods, understanding her situation. “I will never let you down.” Her words make his heart speak a beat. “Welcome to our company. I will tell Don-Hyun to tell you about everything. You may leave now.” She nods and stands up to leave. Soon-Ja looks back and smiles before saying. “Good day, Mr. Geun.” He smiles and nods.

“So, you are giving me a warning about something I never did.” Eun-Hee says to Dr. Haneul. “You broke my heart, EUN-HEE.” He is panting badly. “Relax, you are the one who started this a long time ago.” Eun-Hee says politely, making him lose his mind. Haneul leans close to her as they are standing in the office. Eun-Hee’s back is touching the chilly wall. He traps her between his arms. Their eyes are never leaving each other. Haneul is leaning his face close to her. Eun-Hee closes her eyes when their noses touch. Flashbacks of the past rushes in her memories. Eun-Hee harshly pushes her with all of her force. “STAY IN YOUR LIMITS, I AM FREAKING MARRIED.” She shows him the wedding ring on her finger and rushes out of the office furiously. “No, you love me and you will always love me. I will make sure of it.” Haneul runs his hand through his hair.

“Thank you for helping me, Mr. Gyeol.” Soon-Ja smiles. “It’s Don-Hyun. You can call me Don.” he winks at her and they chuckle. “Let’s go. The meeting is about to start.” She nods and follows him. Everyone heads to the conference hall for the meeting. Soon-Ja heaves a breath and enters the hall as well. She bows and takes her seat beside Jung-Hoon. “Let’s start the meeting.” Jung-Hoon says and everyone nods. As the light turns off and everyone gazes on the screen, showing some presentation. Soon-Ja hisses when she feels a cold hand travel on her thigh. She closes her eyes and jerks the hand away and glances at the person who is smirking at her. Soon-Ja controls herself, not waiting to create drama in the meeting.

Everyone steps out of the hall as the meeting is over. Soon-Ja feels uncomfortable because of his dirty gaze. Jung-Won notices her strange behaviour and glances at the man, who is smirking at her disgustingly. He sighs and ignores as he thinks it is not his concern there are many people who can help her. Jung-Won steps out of the hall along with Don-Hyun. Soon-Ja takes the file and is about to go suddenly stops when the man grabs her wrist. She panics and tries to get out of his grip, but he pulls her to him. Her back touches his hard chest, and he grips on her waist tightly. “Why are you behaving like an innocent girl? I know you are an orphan and we must sleep with a lot of men. That’s why you got a job easily.” He snuggles face into her neck, causing her to feel disgust. “LEAVE HER RIGHT NOW OR YOU GONNA REGRET IT.”

Jung-Won roars, causing them to flinch. The male worker leaves her immediately and bows to Jung-Won. “We are sorry, sir. She is forcing me.” Soon-Ja’s eyes widen and tears make way to fall down. “Trust me, he is lying.” Soon-Ja sobs, making Jung-Won's heart clench. “WHO DARE YOU TO LIE TO ME.” Male worker smirks as Jung-Won is taking his step near Soon-Ja. She closes her eyes, thinking no one's gonna trust her here. Jung-Won grasps the worker's collar and punches in the face, causing him to fall down. He bends down to worker level, and he takes aback and fears his boss. “I saw you were touching her improper. Now you are lying to me.” Jung-Won says into a deep voice, sending shivers down into their spine.

Soon-Ja is standing there like a statue, not uttering a single word, feeling disgusted by his words. She doubts herself now. She is thinking about everyone’s words, which they said to her in the past and the present. “Guards, take him away before I do something bad to him.” Jung-Won orders them. They nod and pull him with them. “Sir, please give me a chance to prove myself.” worker says as they take him out. Jung-Won shakes his head and puts his hand on Soon-Ja’s shoulder. She flinches and stays away from him. “Are you okay?” Jung-Won's gaze showing his concern, which is not noticed by Soon-Ja because she is glancing down. “Look at me.” He demands. She bites her lips to control tears and turns her gaze to him. His heart softened as Jung-Won's eyes met with Soon-Ja’s teary one. “Stop crying, I am here. No one's gonna harm you.” He says calmly and pats her head. She nods and wipes her tears with tiny hands. Jung-Won chuckles and steps out of the hall.
