I'm Misa. A hardcore otaku for the otome isekai genre who was living life inconspicuously as a normal office worker. Everything was in the drains and life sucked in general, but I still had my novels and mangas to delve into, so I was having a great time—that is until I died of an unfortunate truck accident.
Then I got to live the greatest dream that every isekai reader ever has. I got transmigrates into the world of novel that I used to read. Except, it seems like God made a slight error while assigning my role to me. I have now woken up in a man's body and now I've got to deal with all the consequences that comes along with it!

Miscasted

"Why?" The bandit leader couldn't believe what was going on just then.


"What do you mean why?" I couldn't help but smile at that point.


"Why is the Grand Duke here? And why is the Grand Duke seeking me?" He was frightened as he asked those questions to me.


"Well, I got a complaint from my people that you've been going around raiding villages and all, so I thought maybe I should come take a look. And guess what? They were right. You have indeed been pillaging the villages." I replied.


"But, but… I'm just a small bandit! There's people committing way worse crimes right now, my Lord!" He cried as he said that.


"Hmm, I guess you're right about that. Which is why I had asked for these numbnuts to capture you lot. However, they ended up killing your comrades. I guess I should issue an apology for that." I shrugged as I said that.
