CHAPTER 34: WHEN THE CAT'S AWAY, THE MICE COMES OUT TO PLAY.

The sun had just risen. It cast a rosy hue across the morning sky, and golden fingers of sunlight lit up the scene. The just-risen sun shone softly on the face of Daya which made her squeeze her face and protect her eyes from the rising sun using her hands.

She was shocked to see herself on a bed. How did she get here? She then felt something on her legs only to check and see that she was cuffed onto the bed. She struggled to escape as she jiggled her legs continuously, in an aggressive manner.

"She's awake," A man with a hoarse voice said. He then barges into her room and said to her, "Good morning, miss Daya Maine."

"Why am I here?! Who are you? And I what is this place!" She yelled as she struggled to get the cuffs out of her legs.

"Don't bother trying to get freed from those cuffs. They're very strong and relentless, just like your zeal to find the only surviving victim of the SDDD." He taunted.
