CHAPTER 50: FOREVER IS A LONG TIME

It was a sad day, the next day. Daya was leaving the Pacific Terrace Hotel and there was nothing Kate nor Mr Simmons could do.

Daya couldn't leave without letting Mr Simmons know. "What are you doing here?" Mr Simmons asked her indifferently.

"I wanted to tell you that, that uh, I was leaving," She said whilst looking away from Mr Simmons.

"Why are you doing this to me? You're telling me this knowing that there's nothing I can do about it. What? Do you want me to beg you to stay, 'cause I would." Mr Simmons said.

"I don't want you to beg me," Daya said under her breath. "Then what do you want me to do with this information!" Mr Simmons said at the top of his voice.

Trying to blink away the tears in her eyes she struggled to say, "I just wanted you to know. Because,"

"Because what? Because you love me? Cause if you did you wouldn't be leaving me," Mr Simmons said.
