After the shower, Neven made Vera change her clothes and rub her hair until it was almost dry. Unfortunately, he didn't have a hairdryer, but he put it on the list of things to buy. Life wasn't just as simple with a woman in the house.

He wrapped her in a cover, forgetting about his own wound because he was too worried about her. She just let him do, observing the red skin of his hand and arm with more curiosity than worry. It seemed that telling her he wouldn't kick her out was enough to reassure her.

«Not just that you know what I am, but you're also aware that hot water hurts me,» he said, at some point. «I guess we're good at pretending we know nothing about each other, but it might be the time to stop.»

«I'm not clear whether hot water is enough to kill you, though,» she said, at some point. «Since you're doing okay, I guess it's not enough.»
