Neven hugged Vera as soon as he reached her. Following his instinct, he had found her in the city. The cameras had stopped working at some point and since she had gotten in, even the mic.

Something deep inside him was screaming to find her immediately, so insistently that it couldn't be a matter of his worry alone. Something was wrong in that city, he could feel it. And, since the moment he had lost contact with Vera, it became even worse.

When he found her leaning on the wall, his heart didn't know how to feel. He was happy to have found her but...She wasn't doing all right, obviously.

«Vera?» he called her.

She raised her arm towards him, a signal clear enough. He hugged her tightly, splitting her from that cold stone wall. He inhaled her scent, annoyed by the stink of something he couldn't identify. There was something wrong with her, but he couldn't be sure what it was.

«What happened?» he asked.
