Son Goza POV - Universe 7, Earth, West City - Age 779
While I kept waiting for my collegues from the Galatic Patrol to arrive and retrive the captured Macareni Siblings, I used the communicator to contact Cell and inform him that we had to return on Earth as Future Trunks and Future Bulma arrived in a Time Machine which meant that likely some major trouble happened in the Future Timeline.
After doing that, I immediately took advantage of my connection and directly contacted the Galactic King, requesting a period of leave for both Cell and I, informing him that there was some major trouble in my home planet that could involve even the God of Destruction, Beerus-sama.
Obviosly, after hearing Beerus-sama's name, the Galatic King didn't hesitate to quickly agree, he even told me that we could take as much time as we like and that even after we resolved the issue we can work whenever we like, this last addition sprung up because Whis-san informed him that we need as much time as possible train and prepare for upcoming tournament organized by Zeno-sama which could easily decide the fate of the entire Universe 7.
Shortly after I concluded my discussion with the Galatic King, Cell suddenly appeared next to me as he used Instant Transmission to quickly cross many galaxies and reach my location using my Ki's signature as a guiding light.
I greeted Cell and informed him of my discussion with the Galatic King, how he agreed to our request of leave, and how he gave us free rein in how to work with Galatic Patrol so that we could focus on training for Zeno's upcoming tournament.
After that, Cell and I spent the rest of the time waiting for the people of the Galatic Patrol while talking about what could be the trouble that forced Future Trunks to return with Future Bulma with Cell guessing that it is likely that the problem that the Future is facing has something to do with Majin Buu, or maybe even Beerus-sama.
During our casual talk, the colleagues from the Galactic Patrol finally arrive to formally arrest the Macareni Siblings and send them back to the Galactic Prison, and since I don't have to worry about them anymore, I calmly put my spaceship into my Space Bag and tell Cell that we can finally leave.
In response, Cell doesn't hesitate and uses Instant Transmission to teleport us back to Earth using Father Ki's signature as a beacon.
As soon as we arrive, I notice that everyone is gathered around the Time Machine some watching it in wonder, other with curiosity, and other casually dismiss it as they have already seen it before, but they are all too focused on the Time Machine to notice our arrival, the only ones who did notice us are Whis-san and Beerus-sama who I simply respectfully greet by lowering my head while the group continues to talk.
"A time machine?"
"It's hard to believe."
"I want to try riding it."
"Hehehe. As a matter of fact, this Time Machine is one of our products. Meaning it's a great invention of my future self. Amazing, isn't it?"
"Indeed, this is, without doubt, one of my most complex creations."
The ones who just talked are Pilaf, Mai, Shu, Bulma-san, and Future Bulma-san, but all around them, there are also Father, Vegeta-san, Trunks, Future Trunks, Nappa-san, and of course, Whis-san and Beerus-sama.
Pilaf is a small, blue, imp-looking boy that wears a star-labeled beanie and yellow shirt with magenta shorts and blue shoes.

Mai is a young girl with black eyes and long black hair, and she wears a green gymnasterka, a Russian army tunic, and black wellington boots.

Shu is a short anthropomorphic Shiba-inu dog with light brown fur covering his entire body and a white face and paws.
His shinobi shozoku, ninja uniform, consists of a purple hood, a purple kimono with a grey shirt underneath it, purple hakama pants, a pale blue or white sash, black tabi socks, and straw waraji sandals.
He usually carries a wakizashi on his back despite being much too small to actually use it anymore.

Those three were the Pilaf's gang, Father's first antagonist when he started his legendary adventure with Bulma-san, this should make all of them at the very least in their forties, well excluding Pilaf who should be in his 60s, but they are now all children of around 11 years old both physically and mentally because they messed up when they requested their wish to Shenron.
Instead of simply wishing eternal youth or something like that, they wished to "Return to their childhood," and since Shenron and other Eternal Dragons usually take the words used in a wish quite literally, Shenron did just that.
The Eternal Dragon Shenron literally returned them to their childhood in all senses.
On one hand, they still do have their memory of a life as an adult, but on the other, they are all re-experiencing childhood and the biological changes that come with it, including the developmental and maturity limitations of being a child.
That is why they have remained with Capsule Corporation under the care of Bulma-san, they can't actually fend for themselves anymore, and evidently they find themselves in more and more situations that are typical for kids that are under adult supervision.
(AN: I just felt that I had to explain the situation as when the romance between Mai and Trunks first came out, there was quite a strong reaction for some people to the point that some labelled Mai as a cardle robber, and less pleasing terms. But as explained before, most of the time, the Eternal Dragons are quite literal in their wish granting. The Pilaf's Gang as a whole truly returned to their childhood; proof of that is the way they act throughout the whole series. They don't act like adults in a child's body, with a maturity beyond their age, but like true children. In fact, I find their situation much more agreeable than the ones I found in some novel I read where the protagonist returned to the past, regressed or so on, while still keeping their full adult maturity only to shamelessly chase after women that mentally could be their daughters, grandaughter, or great-grandaughters. PS: In defense of my MC, whose behaviour is quite similar to the aforementioned cases, well, there is a reason why most of his lovers are older than him.)
After taking a quick look at the regressed Pilaf's gang, I focus on the young Trunks who looks at the Time Machine and mutters, "It is genueine, then?"
Shortly after, Future Trunks puts a hand on his younger self's shoulder and says, "Actually, I met you once, when you were a baby," which makes Trunks exclaim while Bulma-san confirms, "That's right."
At this point, Vegeta-san lightly snorts while Father notices our arrival and says, "Hey, Goza, Cell! You are here already?" which makes Whis chuckle and comment, "Hohoho. They arrived some time ago, but you are were all too focused on this machine..."
At the same time, Future Trunks and Future Bulma-san also focus on us, and while Future Bulma-san is somewhat surprised by our presence, Future Trunks greets us in a much somber mood and in a very cold tone with even a little bit of clear hostility which immediately makes some alarm bells ring in my head.
"Oh my... the similarities are almost frightening, but he gives me a totally different feeling compared to Him."
"Goza-san... It's been a while..."
Shortly after greeting me, Future Trunks focuses on Cell, and with a grim look on his face, he simply says, "Cell..."
In response to that, Cell chuckles and responds, "Heh, do not make that face. I'm a completely different being from the Cell you fought many years ago. I'm not the creation of Dr. Gero's Supercomputer who was simply programmed to become "Perfect" and destroy everything." before he declares with clear pride in his tone, "I'm Cell, an artificial being created by Dr. Gero's Supercomputer, freed by my programming thanks to the genius of your mother, and who grew up under the care of Piccolo-san, Goza, and the rest of the Son Family. I'm Son Cell, the one who inherited the genes of the strongest warriors of this universe and who wishes to use his power to protect the people he cares about and the rest of the universe."
Future Trunks is clearly taken aback by Cell's response before he quickly recomposes himself and says, "Sorry... I just went through a lot, and seeing your faces just unconsciously put me in an alert state."
At the same time, I take a closer look at Future Trunks and Future Bulma-san.
Future Trunks is a slim yet well-built young man of below average height and light skin color; his facial features and skin-tone are inherited from his father.
He has blue eyes and hair that is soft and straight that parts from the top of his head to frame both sides of his face, reaching his ears with two loose strands over his forehead, traits he clearly inherited from his mother.
He wears a periwinkle-colored jacket that reaches his waist with the Capsule Corporation logo on the left sleeve, with a long red scarf around his neck, dark gray pants, and pale green boots with black tips.
Underneath his jacket, Trunks wears an olive-green shirt with patches on the shoulders and forearms, reminiscent of British military standard-issue jumpers.

Overall, he looks much more mature compared to the last time I saw him.
On the other hand, Future Bulma has retained much of her youthful appearance, looking basically the same as her younger counterpart.
The only real difference is that she has long hair, which she styles in a ponytail, and that the way she dresses is more conservative.
She is currently wearing a white lab coat that she fully unbuttons, a short-sleeved undershirt of pink color, with the collar being white, a pair of gray-blue jeans, with light blue folded sleeves at the edge, and black shoes with white soles.
While I'm taking a closer look at them, Whis-san brings the topic back to the Time Machine as he says, "I am surprised, to say the least." followed by Beerus-sams, who comments, "So, this Time Machine really does exist."
Whis-san then comments with a neutral expression on his face, "I thought it would be impossible for humans to make one." which makes a proud Bulma-san ask, "Can you review it a little?" while Future Bulma-san snorts a little and mutters, "Sure, sure, brag about something you didn't do yet... I can't believe my past self was like this."
Meanwhile, Whis-san somberly says, "It certainly is amazing, but... to manipulate time and to go in the past or the future is a serious crime," much to the surprise of Future Trunks, Bulma-san, and Future Bulma-san.
Seeing this, Whis-san calmly says, "I'll repeat what I said. To go back and forth in time, or to manipulate time, is a serious criminal offence. Time is something that should flow in only one direction. If you go back to the past and change something, like picking a flower, for example, it could greatly affect the established history. It could change entire cities or even an entire civilization. It might even result in an entire planet disappearing from the universe."
Hearing that, Bulma-san looks a lot less enthusiastic and says, "Well, I understand that, but..."
Before she can even continue, Whis-san interrupts her, ignoring what she was saying, and continues, "Therefore, travelling through time so easily is strictly prohibited, even among the gods." This is followed by Beerus-sama, who adds, "Exactly."
Hearing that, a confused Future Trunks can't help but repeat, "Among the gods?" which makes Trunks explain to his future self, "Those two came from the world of the gods," greatly surprising him.
At the same time, Beerus-sama focuses on them and says, "I guess destroying you all would be the right thing to do," which makes Future Trunks ask in a slightly worried tone, "Destroy...?"
At this point, Bulma-san exclaims, "Don't joke around! The one who made the Time Machine is me, but... not the present me," which makes the Future Bulma-san shout, "Hey! Don't throw your more charming future self under the bus only because you are envious!"
Beerus-sama ignores their banter and says, "It's the same either way," but Bulma-san quickly rebuts, "It's not the same!"
Seeing this situation, Future Trunks starts to panic and quickly begs Whis, thinking he is a god, "No... P-Please wait, God-sama." But Whis calmly points at the disgruntled Beerus-sama and says, "God-sama is over there." This stuns Future Trunks. "Eh?"
Bulma-san then rushes up to Beerus-sama, and pointing at him, she explains, "God, as in the God of Destruction." followed by Whis, who adds, "I'm just an attendant."
Hearing that, Future Trunks genuinely says, "I was fairly certain that you were the God," but then he realizes that his words are upsetting Beerus-sama and quickly corrects himself, "N-No, I mean... God-sama... The real God-sama... My mothers didn't do anything wrong. You can punish me in their place."
At this point, Father also pleaded in their favor, "Well, I'm asking for a favour, Beerus-sama. Can ya let this one slide?"
In response, Whis-san calmly asks Beerus-sama his opinion regarding this issue, "What will you do, Beerus-sama?" which makes Beerus-sama hold his chin with his hand in a thinking pose while muttering, "Well, I wonder..." before he turns serious as he enters in his God of Destruction Mode and says in a threatning tone, "What should I do?"
Seeing that, those not used to Beerus-sama's antics immediately get scared, but all the other among us are still calmly waiting for his decision, knowing that he'll likely rule in our favor.
In my case, I'm even more tranquil as I know perfectily well that Beerus-sama will forgive Future Trunks, Future Bulma-san, and Bulma-san, and even in the case that it doesn't happen, I'm still confident that Jayr would still be able to easily do something, even more so now that he became Zeno-sama close friend.
After a few moments of tension, Beerus-sama smirks and states in a casual tone while raising his right fist in the air, "Alright. If you can give me something delicious that I haven't eaten before, I'll let this slide."
Hearing that, Bulma-san takes the same pose as Beerus-sama and cheerfully exclaims, "That's the way!" before she quickly pulls out something from her pocket while explaining, "Here's a snack for you, a fish sausage."
Whis-san and Beerus-sama quickly take the offered fish sausages, peel off the outer skin, and, looking at the snack they ask in a curious tone.
"What is this?"
"I wonder what, indeed."
The two quickly take a bite of the snack, and then they both open their eyes wide before they shout out with a content tone.
"So good!"
"I agree on that one!"
Seeing their reaction makes those not used to Beerus-sama's and Whis-san's usual behaviour exclaim in shock.
"Our life was depending on that sausage!?"
"T-That's insane!"
"As expected from a friend of Goku-kun... They are also gluttons..."
Bulma then gives some of the fish sausages to the rest of the gang, and soon, everyone calmly starts to enjoy the snack together, and the mood caused by the threat of imminent destruction is completely gone.
Seeing this scene, I can't help but smile wryly while thinking, "This is the proof that Bulma-san already expected that something like this was likely going to happen, and as expected, she had a solution already prepared for it. Watching her usual goofy behaviour makes me, at times, forget how truly frightening her genius is. There is next to nothing that Bulma-san can't do if she puts her mind to it. The Time Machine in front of us is just another proof of what she is truly capable of.'
Sometime later, the Bulmas are analyzing the Time Machine, as Pilaf plans to use the time machine to pick up some money he dropped a long time ago.
Bulma-san slaps his hand away from the controls, then Future Bulma-san tells him that that the time machine has no fuel, making them realize that even they cannot return to their own time, before Future Bulma-san pulls out her hidden notebook and show it to her past self telling her that together they can find a solution to make the Time Machine work again.
At the same time, Father, Vegeta-san, Nappa-san, Trunks, Cell, and I gather around Future Trunks to learn more about the situation in the future while Whis-san and Beerus-sama listen from a nearby gazebo.
Father is the one who quickly breaks the silence by asking, "Did somethin' happen in the future?" followed by Vegeta, who asks, "By any chance... was it Majin Buu?"
But a downtrotted Future Trunks quickly denies, "No." before he explains, "The emergence of this 'Majin Buu"... The battle was extremely difficult... But I received instructions from Kaioshin-sama. And somehow, I was able to defeat Dabura and Babidi and prevent the emergence of Majin Buu."
At this point, Nappa exclaims, "I knew it! In the end, all the trouble we had with Majin Buu was all Vegeta's fault! In the future, when he is dead, Dabura and Babidi were taken care of before they could even awaken Majin Buu! Meanwhile, we had to fight and deal with that monster of Majin Buu just because Vegeta wanted to go through his cringy Emo Phase one last time!!"
Hearing that, I can't help but stifle a chuckle, finding some truth; after all, Vegeta-san does have a history of making the situation worse in one way or another.
Like when he left Father to fight Ginyu on his own, or goading Frieza into transforming when we could barely hold him back in his Base Form, or underestimating Android 18 and Android 17 allowing Gero to activate them only to get his ass kicked, or let Future Cell absorb Android 18, or what Nappa-san just described where Vegeta-san gave into Babbidi's Possession, knocked out Father thus allowing Majin Buu's awakening, or more recentily when instead of killing Frieza while he has the chance, Vegeta-san beat the tyrant into submission, giving Frieza an opportunity to destroy the Earth.
It was only through Whis-san's ability to turn back time that Father was able to kill Frieza before Vegeta-san could mess things up all over again.
At the same time, Vegeta-san can't stop himself from shouting, "Damn, Nappa! I really feel the urge of testing just how much better this timeline could be with you dead at moments like this!" something that makes everyone else watching this scene smirk and laugh.
But then the mood turns serious once again as Future Trunks resumes his story, "Afterwards... An even more terrifying enemy appeared," which makes Trunks, Nappa-san, and Vegeta-san gasp while Father asks, "What kinda enemy it it?"
At this point, Future Trunks looks at me for a moment before he lightly bows his head and says, "I'm sorry. Earlier, I greeted you with a lot of hostility hidden in my tone, Goza-san."
Hearing that, the alarm bells in my head ring once more as Future Trunks' attitude is giving me a clear hint of what my presence changed this time in the known plot while I try to keep a poker face and try to reassure Future Trunks by saying, "Don't worry about it. Considering the situation, I'm sure you had quite a rough day..."
In response, Future Trunks shakes his head and says, "No... Even if I knew that I successfully traveled in time to the past, when I saw you standing in front of my eyes, for a moment I forgot about that, and it was like I was back in my time."
Hearing that makes Father tilt his head and mutter, "Eh...? What...?" followed by Vegeta-san, who asks, "What do you mean by that?"
Future Trunks then states, "That guy introduced himself as Son Goku's son," which makes Vegeta-san exclaim, "What?" followed by a confused Father who points at himself and asks, "My son?"
At the same time, I let out a sigh while thinking, 'Fucking great... Zamasu stole either my or Gohan's body... I don't know even how the fuck something like this happened... I mean in the anime sometime after the Zamasu from his original unaltered timeline, which could be my timeline, got his ass kicked by Father, he gathered the Super Dragon Balls and wished to switch bodies with Father in an act to steal his body before using his body to kill him and everyone else before joining forces with Zamasu from Future Trunks' timeline. Now, why the hell did Zamasu choose to steal my or Gohan's body, and even if he did, why was he successful in the first place!? I mean, if he stole Gohan's body, he wouldn't be able to kill me and the others, as I'm much stronger than a Zamasu in a freshly stolen body, and even if he masters the body and transforms into Super Saiyan Rosè, he still wouldn't be my match. On the other hand, if he stole my body... well, maybe Father and the others would be absolutely fucked as I don't think I can defeat my body using Zamasu's body. But there is still Jayr who could easily... wait!'
At this point, I quickly realize what is going on, 'Jayr also agreed to let the Zamasu do his own thing to push Father and Vegeta-san more... So it is likely that he simply let Zamasu do his thing and then fixed everything when he left for Future Trunks' timeline...'
While I've come up with that conclusion, Vegeta asks while pointing at me, "So, that enemy calls himself Son Goku's son and has the same face as Goza and Gohan!?" which Future Trunks confirms, "Yes, that's right."
At this point, Father scratches the back of his head and comments, "That's a big surprise." while Future Trunks explains, "That person wears black clothes, so we call him simply Black as I don't want to connect Gohan-san's or Goza-san's name to that individual."
Hearing that, I chuckle before I say, "Yes, thanks for that. I wouldn't like to have my name associated with an individual like that." But then Father says, "Come on. I think it's cool."
Shortly after that, Future Trunks narrates, "That guy... the day that guy appeared on Earth, he said this towards us: 'And now, I will annihilate the Earthlings for the sake of justice.' He told me that he had already destroyed a number of planets and their people. Although I've been fighting him for 1 year... there's hardly any humans remaining on the planet. Mai, too... Just before I came back to this era."
Suddenly, Vegeta-san asks in a sharp tone, "So, you shamelessly ran away and came running to this era?" which makes Future Trunks briefly snap out of his grief and say, "Dad..."
At the same time, Father tries to defend him, "Don't talk like that, Vegeta." but Vegeta-san quickly points at him and shouts, "You should just stay silent!" before he focus back on Future Trunks and asks, "You, a proud Saiyan, turned his back on the enemy and ran away?"
Future Trunks quickly replies, "That's not it!" but Vegeta-san interrups him and shouts, "Don't give me excuses!"
At this point, Nappa-san steps in front of Vegeta-san and says, "Calm down, Vegeta! A Saiyan never turns back to a fight; that was just a tactical retreat. Didn't you hear the two Bulmas? They are going to fix the Time Machine so that they can return to the Future."
Hearing that, Vegeta calms down a little, and with a smirk, he says, "So, they are asking me to defeat Kakarot's future son." But Father quickly corrects him, "Not my son. You have to defeat the one who looks just like them."
Shortly after that, Future Trunks explains, "Mother told me... That she was betting on this one thing. That even if she didn't make it, by entrusting mother from this era with the Time Machine, I would be surely return to the future."
At this point, Father quickly reassure Future Trunks by saying, "Don't worry. Let's go to the future!" followed by Vegeta-san who adds, "I guess you can leave the task of defeating Kakarot's son, to me." which makes Father remind, "As I said..." but Nappa-san interrups him and comments, "Maybe it is better that Vegeta stays here. After all, it is likely that he is going to make the situation worse one way or another before he actually fixes it."
Nappa-san's comments make everyone laugh once more while Beerus-sama comments, "These guys are talking as if time is an easy thing to manipulate."
At the same time, I take advantage of this brief pause to take out the communicator that Jayr gave me from the Spatial Bag and inform him that the "Future" Trunks Saga has officially begun with a bit of unexpected twist.
