The Tournament of Power 12/27

Jayr POV - Dragon Ball Universe, Null Realm - Age 780

After being eliminated by Gohan, Algol is immediately transported to our side, appearing right beside Koby while the Grand Minister announces, "The contestant from Jayr-sama's Universe, Algol-san has dropped out!"

As usual, this is quickly followed by the Zenos, who bring up their GodPads and mark the elimination while casually commenting.

"Algol... Tap!"

"Jayr lost another warrior!"

"Goku's son did it!"

"But he still has many warriors, too! How long will they last?"

""This is so fun!""

At the same time, I take a quick look at Algol immediately noticing the state of the Perseus Silver Cloth which has its Medusa Shield completely broken and many deep cracks all over the other pieces of the armor to the point that it is going to crumble into pieces with the slightest touch, on top of that, Algol himself is in aquite sorry state as his left arm isn't the only broken bone in his body, only the most serious, moreover, he also has burns marks caused by the Ki Blasts and serious traumas all over his body, luckily his interal organs are mostly fine as the Cloth did its job and protected him.

Watching Algol's state, I can't help but internally sigh while thinking, 'Damn... I kinda forgot that without the Cloths the warriors of my home universe are mostly humans at the peak of their physical condition. Sure, the Cosmo allows them to produce impressive supernatural feats, but without the protection of the Cloths even a simple kitchen knife can harm them.'

While thinking that, I do not hesitate and quickly wave my hand to use Restoration Magic to quickly manipulate time to restore the Perseus Cloth to the same state before the start of the Tournament of Power and heal all the damage that Algol received in just a few moments.

Algol lets out a big sigh of relief before he checks his Cloth and says, "Thanks a lot, Jayr. Those two did quite a number on me. The last time I was beaten so much was in our battle against Lord Poseidon. On top of that, asking to Lord Mu or Kiki to fix the Perseus Cloth would have been a true pain. Not only would I have to travel all the way to Jamir... but I would also constantly endure their lengthy lessons about the Cloths and the right way to care for them while pouring my blood over it! I mean, how many times do I have to listen to the same thing!?"

In response to that, I chuckle and say, "Heh. Looking at the state of the Perseus Cloth, I'd say quite a few more times. I only restored the Cloth to the state before the start of the Tournament of Power; however, the Cloth itself still has quite a few hidden fractures here and there, which makes it a lot more susceptible to damage. So if you do not want to bleed almost to death to restore it the next time it breaks, I think that it is better if you still travel to Jamir and ask Mu or Kiki to work on it after we are done here."

Hearing that, Algol exclaims, "Shit! Is that so? Then it is better if the Perseus Cloth returns to its Pandora Box. At least that way it gets nourished and protected."

Shortly after saying that, the Perseus Cloth unequips itself from Algol's body and assembles itself into its Constellation Form before it returns into its Pandora Box before Algol casually sits on it and focuses his attention on the fighting stage while commenting, "Woah. The sight from here is quite impressive..."

I also focus my attention back on the fighting stage, and soon another battle that is about to start catches my attention, a battle between Harmira, a warrior from the 2nd Universe, and Cyenne, the Axolotl-like alien from the 9th Universe.

Harmira is a green-skinned, muscular humanoid individual with wrist cannons, pointy ears, orange hair, and a beak-like jaw with reptile-like nose holes, and he wears nothing but a pair of red briefs and boots.

The reason this particular match-up caught my attention is that Cyenne is casually walking around the fighting stage while looking around.

Seeing how he acted until now, it is clear that he is searching for another easy target to sneak attack using his ability to move through matter as if it were water by swimming at a very fast speed.

He has already eliminated a few warriors using that technique to sneak on them from unexpected locations, proving its effectiveness, especially in a setting such as this chaotic battle royal.

However, at the moment, Cyenne seems to be unaware that the hunter just became the hunted as Harmira, who is hiding on top of some rubble quite some distance away from Cyenne, has set his sight on him and is slowly and discreetly gathering his Ki to deliver a devastating long range shot that will surely take Cyenne out of the combat.

Harmira's speciality is firing extremely powerful and accurate Ki Blast formed of highly concentrated Ki like the Special Beam Cannon called Snipe Shots, however, the Snipe Shots are much less powerful comparated to the Special Beam Cannon as the concentration of Ki is much less but the advantage is that it can be fired at a much faster rate moreover the power behind them is still enough to greatly harm an unaware opponent.

Before long, the perfect opportunity presents itself as Cyenne suddenly focuses all his attention on Catopesra, a warrior from the 3rd Universe who is currently leaning his body against a pile of rubble in the distance to rest and recover his stamina.

Catopesra is a modified humanoid warrior wearing a blue and white suit that has a visor helmet, and he has a large P on his chest.

He wears yellow gloves, yellow boots, and he has a belt buckle that glows and enables him to change to different modes.

Seeing such a perfect target, Cyenne smirks evilly before he once again sinks into the floor with a water ripple-like effect and quickly swims toward his target.

At the same time, a grin also forms on Harmira's face as he raises his right arm and starts to concentrate more and more Ki in his wrist cannons while aiming at the area where the unaware Catopesra is recovering.

I'm not the only one who noticed what is about to happen, as I hear many of the Deities, some warriors, my wives, and even my children talk about it, clearly interested in what is about to happen.

"Hoho... I'm curious about how this will end?"

"The mantis stalks the cicada unaware of the oriolie behind... huh?"

"Hehehe. What a fool..."

"This is going to be interesting. Until now, that warrior was the one who always took his opponents by surprise; now it is his turn to have a taste of his own medicine."

"Look, Galen! That ugly pink alien is going to sneak attack someone else! How cheap!"

"I noticed it. However, this tactic of his isn't going to work for much longer. Many have already seen him do it and are already prepared for it."

While everyone is discussing what is about to happen, I follow Cyenne, who is swiftly swimming through matter like a fish in water, using my Cosmic Awareness, and realize that he is about to reach his target, the resting Catopesra.

Soon, the telling water ripple effect manifests on top of the rubble that Catopesra is leaning against, and Cyenne silently emerges with a confident, evil smirk on his face as he looks at his still-unaware target.

Cyenne extends his right arm and gathers a small but concentrated amount of Ki on his index finger before he chuckles out loud, before he casually says in an arrogant and mocking tone, "Hehehe. It seems that today is my lucky day."

Scared by the sudden voice, Catopesra immediately jumps away from his previous spot and focuses on Cyenne who at this point smiles and fires a small, thin, very fast and concentrated laser-like beam of Ki from his index finger, which barrels down and pierces through his left leg making Catopesra fall on one knee while grunting in pain.

Cyenne casually jumps down from the top of the rubble and comments, "Heh. To think that just a few moments ago I complained to my teammate and fellow former prisoner that he was playing with his food too much, and now I'm basically doing the same... But in my defense, I simply can't stand him, so whenever possible, I simply go and annoy him a bit with whatever excuse comes to my mind."

Shortly after saying that, Cyenne fires another small, thin, very fast and concentrated laser-like beam of Ki from his index finger, which barrels down and pierces through his right leg, making Catopesra collapse on the ground while screaming in agony, while Cyenne simply laughs at the sight of his opponent suffering.

At this point, it is very clear that Cyenne intends to toy around with the poor Catopesra and will likely only let him go and knock him off the fighting stage once he has grown bored of playing with him.

Just as Cyenne taunts Catopesra and his about to fire off yet another small, thin, very fast and concentrated laser-like beam of Ki from his index finger, this time aimed at his shoulder, Harmira finally makes his move and fires a blue laser-like beam from his wrist cannons that reaches his target in an instant and pierces through Cyenne's left leg, leaving a fist-sized hole in it, making him grunt in pain and curse out loud, "Urgh! Shit! Who the hell shot that!?"

Despite the fist-sized hole in his left leg, Cyenne only stumbles for a moment but remains standing as he starts to search around for the one who attacked him.

The reason for that immediately becomes clear to me when I notice that the fist-sized hole in his body is quickly becoming smaller before my very eyes as the flesh quickly regenerates, replacing the one destroyed by Harmira's Sniper Shots.

Seeing that, I immediately realize, 'Oh! I got it! Cyenne isn't simply an alien that looks like an axolotl, but it seems that he or his race in general also inherited a buffed-up version of that small, cute salamander's astonishing regeneration, too. This may make Cyenne a quite difficult opponent to take out. After all, the axolotl is famous for its extraordinary regenerative capabilities. Unlike many other species, axolotls can regenerate not just limbs, but also complex internal structures like the spinal cord, heart, and even parts of their brain. If Cyenne regeneration is truly a buffed-up version of that, then it is like having someone like Majin Buu as an opponent.'

While I'm thinking that, Cyenne finds Harmira's location and, without any hesitation, starts to run toward it, completely ignoring Catopesra, who took advantage of the distraction created by Harmira to slip away and hide.

Seeing the quickly approaching Cyenne, Harmira starts to fire a barrage of blue laser-like beams from both his wrist cannons that reach his target in an instant; however, this time, just as the beams are about to hit him, Cyenne smirks and quickly sinks into the floor of the fighting stage with the usual water ripple effect, perfectly avoiding the barrage of laser-like beams.

Soon after that, Cyanne swifly swims toward his target, reaching Harmira's location in just a few moments before emerging behind him and knocking him off the top of the rubble he was using as a sniping spot with point-blank Ki Blast.

Then Cyenne quickly concentrates his Ki on his index finger and yells, "Now this is what you get for ruining my fun!"

After yelling that, from his index finger, he fires a barrage of small, thin, very fast and concentrated laser-like beams of Ki which barrels down on the falling Harmira's back, sending him crashing to the ground with much stronger force while leaving behind small, shallow holes all over his back.

Shortly after sending Harmira crashing on the floor, Cyenne jumps down from the top of the rubble before he fires an Energy Wave up in the air making himself fall at full speed toward the figure of Harmira, who is still lying on the floor while groaing in pain, and soon he slams onto the opponent with knee.

However, instead of creating a bigger crater on the ground with the force behind this attack, both Harmira and Cyenne sink into the floor with the usual water ripple effect generated by the use of Cyenne's speciality and the next both the two continue to quickly descend through the floor of the fighting stage until they reach the bottom.

At this point, Harmira's body is ejected from the bottom of the fighting stage and starts falling down into the bottomless abyss of the Null Realm while Cyenne, with only his upper body out of the bottom of the fighting stage, waves his hand and yells in a mocking tone, "Bye, bye! I hope you enjoy these few moments of existence remaining, as I decided to make sure that your universe gets erased next!"

After saying that, Cyenne disappears into the bottom of the fighting stage and calmly starts to swim his way up, likely to hunt down the remaining warriors of the 2nd Universe and make true the promise he made in retaliation for Harmira ruining his fun.

Shortly after that, the falling Harmira is transported to the spectator stand next to the other eliminated warrior and Deities of the 2nd Universe while the Grand Minister professionally announces, "The contestant Harmira-san of the 2nd Universe has dropped out."

In response to the Grand Minister's announcement, the Zenos, as usual, bring up their GodPads and mark down the elimination of Harmira from the Tournament of Power, noting the fact that the 2nd Universe now only has 3 warriors remaining, Ribrianne, Roasie, and Jimizu.

Shortly after Harmira's elimination, I notice that Catopesra, who was trying to retreat and hide away to recover from the ordeal of being Cyenne's plaything, fell into further trouble as Frost took notice of his weakened state.

As expected from the slimy, cunning, opportunist that Frost is, he didn't have any hesitation in further inflicting even more damage on the poor Catopesra, raining kicks, punches, and Chaos Beam upon him until it became too much and Catopesra completely passed out.

After that, he casually dragged the unconscious Catopesra toward the border of the fighting stage and then threw him out, eliminating him from the Tournament of Power further reducing the number of warriors on the fighting stage to just 37 while a little more than 30 minutes remain of the allotted time before the conclusion of the tournament.

Just like all the previous cases, when Catopesra is transported to the spectator stand next to the other eliminated warrior and the Deities of the 3rd Universe, the Grand Minister professionally announces, "The contestant Catopesra-san of the 3rd Universe has dropped out."

This is also followed by the two Zenos marking his elimination on their GodPads; however, since Catopesra didn't leave much of an impression on them, they casually shrugged off his elimination and quickly focused back on the fighting stage without much comment on their part.

Shortly after that, I focus back on the warriors of the 2nd Universe as they are currently fighting against the robotic warriors of the 3rd Universe, Pancéa, Koitsukai, and Borareta.

Pancéa is a large, green robot with short, extended shoulders, with the long, segmented arms that end in purplish gray hands with bluish grayish fingers protruding from a round deltoid underneath the shoulders.

A set of short grayish upper legs connected by round tops of the legs are attached to joints connecting to a rectangular sacrum, which connects to a small green legs with knees and joints connecting to the foot.

A roundish body with two round protrusions with square tips on top, the body having an opening for the legs beneath.

A roundish square head with three holes lined in the center to represent a mouth; a red section of the eye ridge sectioned by a black line with two small yellow eyes narrowed by green upper eyelids.

And a top section of the head, which was a gray tube-like protrusion on top, in order to combine with his teammates.

Koitsukai is a robot whose appearance is similar to Giru of Dragon Ball GT.

It has a white body with a big green eye, thick arms with big green wrists, and black hands, while its legs are short and it has two jets on its back.

Borareta is a green robot who has notably big legs, having the tips of his feet pointed.

It has big red eyes with pink irises and white round pupils, and its main color is green with yellow accents.

His arms look like black wrecking balls, and he can retract them into his torso through long mechanisms that act as arms in his body.

At first, what caught my attention about these battles was that at the start Ribrianne, Roasie, and Jimizu had a clear advantage over the three robots as they were able to easily knock them around with little to no effort on their part however the more time passed and the better the movements of Pancéa, Koitsukai, and Borareta became to the point that at the moment the warriors of the 2nd Universe are struggling to land even a single blow.

The reason for that is that during the whole battle, the three robots continuously look at their opponents and analyze their strength, moves, and attack patterns, which then allows them to calculate and predict their opponent's next move, truly a brilliant use of technology.

However, the reason why I keep following their rather bland exchange of offense and defense in which neither side is going all out is that Cyenne is quickly closing in while using his technique that allows him to swim through matter undetected with the clear intent of making true of his promise of eliminating the rest of the warriors of the 2nd Universe out of sheer spite.

From his movement, it is clear that Cyenne's first target is Roasie, who is currently focused on trading Ki Blasts with Pancéa.

Roasie is using her trademark Yacchaina Fist to launch a barrage of Ki Blasts while Pancéa responds with a basic but very precise and effective onslaught of Continuous Energy Bullet, which perfectly counters each single Ki Blast fired.

Roasie is way too focused on her opponent, and because of that, she doesn't notice Cyenne emerging from the floor behind her with the usual water ripple effect until it is too late and his hit by a point blank Ki Blast that stops her attack and sends her flying toward Pancéa's Continuous Energy Bullet which hit her dealing a massive amounts of damage and blast her out of the fighting stage much to the shock of Ribrianne, Jimizu, and the other spectators from the 2nd Universe.

Immediately after hitting Roasie with the fatal Ki Blast that caused her elimination, Cyenne grins evilly before he once again sinks into the floor of the fighting stage with the usual water ripple effect while the battles of the remaining two warriors of the 2nd Universe resume.

Shortly after that, the eliminated Roasie is transported to the spectator stand next to the other eliminated warrior and Deities of the 2nd Universe, while the Grand Minister professionally announces, "The contestant Roasie-san of the 2nd Universe has dropped out." which makes the Zenos mark down her elimination on their GodPads as usual.

In the meantime, Pancéa seems to be unable to decide which one of his allies he should support now that his target has been eliminated.

On one side there is Koitsukai who is trying to land a blow on Jimizu using everything in its arsenal, from unleashing concentrated bursts of energy from his eye to trying to strike across long distances by extending his arms, however, thanks to his masterful use of Instant Transmission to teleport all over the fighting stange, Jimizu is simply way too slippery of an opponent.

The only saving grace for Koitsukai is that Jimizu is also unable to land a solid blow on it thanks to the fact that it has analyzed enough of Jimizu's data to allowing to calculate and predict his attack patterns and thus dodge them.

On the other side there is Borareta who is having trouble keeping up with the now very determined Ribrianne even more so when Heles, Roasie, and Kakunsa use their Love Wands to send their "love" to Ribrianne allowing her to transform into Super Ribrianne which is basically the same but with pink transparent like butterfly wings on her back thanks to which she became much faster and stronger on top of gaining the ability to fly without the use of Ki.

Seeing the current state of the battle between his creations and the remaining warriors of the 2nd Universe, the leader of the 3rd Universe's Team, Dr. Paparoni, immediately commands the three robots to retreat so as not to waste too much energy unnecessarily.

Pancéa, Koitsukai, and Borareta immediately follow their creator's order and retreat, which allows Super Ribrianne and Jimizu to regroup and warily watch their surroundings, looking out for another ambush from Cyenne, who calmly emerges from the floor a few meters away from them while mocking them, "It's a shame that those pieces of scrap retreated so fast... I wanted to play around with you love-obsessed fools a little bit more."

Hearing that, an upset Super Ribrianne yells, "You'll pay for what you have done to Harmira and Roasie! I'll punish you with the power of love!"

After yelling that, Super Ribrianne performs her primary pose, forming the heart shape to create the heart-shaped arrow and bow, both made out of Ki.

She can then use the two to fire off heart-shaped energy blasts at the opponent while shouting, "Heart Arrow of Love!"

In response to Super Ribrianne's heart-shaped energy blasts, Cyenne simply smirks before he once again sinks into the floor with the usual water ripple effect before the energy blast explodes on the floor, missing its intended target.

Through my Cosmic Awareness, I can easily follow Cyenne's movements as he quickly swims toward his opponents while hiding his Ki, reaching the wary Jimizu.

Jimizu immediately notices the telling water ripple effect under his feet and yells, "It's here!" before he uses Instant Transmission to teleport away, soon after making Cyenne's attempt at grabbing him and pulling him into the floor fail.

At the same time, Super Ribrianne also quickly reacts to her teammate's shout and fires another Heart Arrow of Love at Jimizu's previous location and this time the heart-shaped energy blast sinks into the floor before exploding with such force that send chucks of the fighting stage flying in the air like a volcanic eruptuion and among those pieces of the fighting stage there is also Cyenne who clearly took massive damage.

Shortly after that, the grievously injured Cyenne crashes on the floor seemingly unconscious, and seeing that, both Jimizu and Super Ribrianne get close to check on him and relax a little when they see his current state, letting their guard down.

That is a fatal mistake because the next moment, all the wounds on Cyenne's body start to regenerate at a frightening rate before Cyenne opens his eyes and quickly attacks the stunned duo with a massive point-blank Energy Wave.

The Energy Wave fired by Cyenne is way too close and fast for either of them to dodge or even react, thus, both Super Ribrianne and Jimizu are completely swallowed by it to the point that the Energy Wave continues to advance blasting through all the obstacle standing in its way until it pushes both of the out of the fighting stage eliminating the last warriors of the 2nd Universe.
