In no time they were in a much cleaner area but it looked strange and new to her, it was like technology wasn't introduced yet, the only place she had seen a scenario like this was in a movie, the ancient ones, like the one that brought her here for instance.
She looked around, it was silent, almost like it was deserted, only few houses or cottages were visible, maybe it was just this area, the world needed technology twenty four seven, she even imagined how it would be if there was no toasting machine for her toast bread, the thoughts freaked her.
"Let's move fast" he finally said something, they both began walking, well she wasn't, she was practically hopping running (if you know what I mean).
He increased his pace every second and she tried not to curse, they walked towards a house which was lighted with lanterns, the visible ones on the outside, the lighted candles showed through the window without a proper covering.
Being infront of the door, the man standing beside her didn't bother knocking as he pushed open the door only to be confronted with a messy room, there were a few men who were masked going through things and they didn't bother putting them back in place, they scattered everything.
Probably because of the sound the door made they all turned to look at the door's entrance.
"I knew he was still alive" one of them said making the man beside the girl smile.
"Guess you know I don't die easy without a proper fight" and in no time they charged towards him, them to be more precise.
"Tsk,tsk" he clicked his tongue.
"You never learn" the girl beside him turned to look at him, he didn't sound like he did earlier, he sounded cold and distant, his face wore no readable expression.
"Move" he said and she did immediately giving him space as she watched him step back to make way for the men that were attacking, in a swift move a head rolled on the floor.
