Small world

"Olivia?" Dionne called out with uncertainty.

"Dionne? What are you doing here?" Olivia asked with hostility in her voice.

"I should be asking you that." Dionne replied back with the same negative energy.

"Who is she Lucas?" Olivia turned to Lucas and asked.

"My slave" Lucas answered impassively. He was still trying decipher the connection between the two women.

Dionne gulped hardly when Lucas said that. Does he have to introduce her with that tag?!

"Oh...so you're now a slave?" Olivia chuckled mischievously "it's true what they say— you never know what the future holds. Who would have thought the great Dionne will end up as a slave" Olivia walked slowly towards her as as she spoke. She looked down on Dionne since she was almost a head taller than her.

"So what? So far I'm not your slave, I'm alright." Dionne raised her head and looked back at her, straight in the eye.

Olivia scoffed and went to Lucas, "Have you eaten?" She asked changing her demeanor immediately.

"The porridge" Lucas said without glancing at Dionne even though he was talking to her. Dionne who stood frozen in the same spot finally moved and set the table for the porridge.

"Here let me feed you" Olivia sat on the bed and scooped some porridge before proceeding to place it in front of his mouth.

"I can do it my self, don't bother" Lucas made to collect the spoon from her but she refused. Shaking her head she said, "I want to do this. Besides you're still not feeling well." Lucas still wanted to refuse but he changed his mind when he saw how indifferent Dionne was.

"Is it nice?" Olivia asked cheekily when Lucas ate the porridge she offered.

"Hmm."

Dionne rolled her eyes at the two before she left the room to give them some `privacy`.

How does Olivia know Lucas?. Seeing as Lucas allowed her to feed him, their relationship must be more than friends. Of all people to cross paths with, it had to be that rude and annoying brat. If only Lucas was not there she would have ripped her hairs off.

*Inside Lucas room*

"That's enough" Lucas said indifferently as he collected the spoon from Olivia's hand. Now that Dionne was gone, there was no need to eat from Olivia's hands.

"But—"

"How do you two know each other?" Lucas asked.

"High school. We were classmates until she suddenly disappeared with her whole family."

"Dionne lived in the city?" Lucas became more interested in knowing more. He didn't bother to do a thorough investigation on Dionne as he assumed she lived in Greenville all her life.

"Yes. Her father is the owner of Yuki Electronics," Olivia said. "Hold on, you didn't know?" She added when she saw the look of surprise on Lucas' face.

"I didn't."

"Wow, I thought her father sold her to you so that he could partner with you. How did she end up being your slave?"

"Don't you have a shoot in Australia?" Lucas changed the topic immediately.

"I did, but I canceled it once I heard about the news of you being in the hospital. You know how much I love you right? I was so shocked when I heard—"

"Can you please leave, I need to get some rest" Lucas dismissed . Her voice was like an endless string of cacophony which gave him series of headache if she were to talk.

"Oh. Alright then, I'll leave you to rest. I'm outside if you need me" She said, standing up and grabbing her purse before she left.

She met Dionne sitting at the bench in front on Lucas' room when she came out and she couldn't help but scoff. "Hey slave" she called out and Dionne glared daggers at her.

"If you dare use such language on me again, you wouldn't like what I'd do to you" Dionne warned. Only God knows how much she despised this piece of trash before her.

"You are in no position to tell me what to do. You are no longer Dionne McCurry of back then, you're nothing but a worthless slave. I wonder how much Lucas bought you. A hundred dollars will be to much of a worth for you don't you think?" Olivia taunted and Dionne saw red.

She stood up and pushed Olivia who then lost her footing and landed on her butt to the floor. "At least I worth something, I'm sure no one will buy you even if it's for free. Isn't that how it has always being, no one wants you. Even your parents abandoned you, I'm I not right, fake Grace Warwick. Who do you think you are to appraise my worth?!" Dionne hissed before she stormed out.

"Arrrgggggghhhhh" Olivia grunted while pulling her hair. She glared nefariously at Dionne's disappearing back.

"Miss Olivia?" Ben rushed to where Olivia was and lifted her from the floor. "What happened to you?" He asked.

"How dare a mere assistant try to touch me! Know your place and learn to stay where you belong" she gritted before storming out of his presence. Ben sighed and shook his head. He always wondered why Lucas put up with that arrogant spoiled woman. Brushing everything away, he entered Lucas room.

Even though Lucas' eyes were closed, Ben knew he wasn't asleep. "You should be sleeping. It's 2am already" He scolded.

"Has she gone?" Lucas spoke. He was referring to Olivia.

"Do you think she'll leave so easily. Expect her to leech around you for the next one week" Ben sighed, "I really pity you. Why do you always have women who give you nothing but stress by your side"

"What about Dionne?" Lucas asked, pretending he did not here the last sentence Ben made. Even he doesn't know why he puts up with Olivia. Probably because she persistent and instead of shooing her and having to hear her plead while professing her unending love, he prefers she leaves on her own. She's a model after all. They have quite the hectic schedule.

"I don't know. When I arrived she wasn't there and Olivia was sitting on the floor in front of your room. I think she must've been crying."

Lucas chuckled when he heard that, "Typical Dionne. She must have put her in her place."

"What do you mean?" Ben asked.

"Apparently they knew each other from high school."

"Wow. It's really a small world" Ben astonishingly muttered.

"I need you to do something for me" Lucas requested seriously.

"What is it?"

"Investigate Dionne."
