[You have leveled up to level 2!]

[You have leveled up to level 10!]

[You have reached level 10. New passive skill Dragon Blood - Regeneration has been unlocked] [Low]

[You have leveled up to level 20!]

His life since he woke up from pain from gaining new heart, and woke up in the forest until at this moment has been all new confusing new stuff. Now he is riddled with another new sensation, the pain of broken arm and something burning inside his right arm are felt at the same time. He felt bad that now he couldn't use his right arm. He could swing sword with his left arm, but it will be much more crude movements and imprecise.

While the pain and the burning feeling was churning inside his arm, he gritted his teath and opened the skill menu to check the new skill.

[Dragon Blood - Regeneration] [Low]

[Always active. When inside battle, your health, mana, fatigue, and mental fatigue will be restored at 1.5 times of normal pace. Outside battle These resources will be restored at 10 times of normal pace.]

"I guess, these evil dragon special skill whatever is the same as telling Mortelix to take over a part of my body for very short time to do something at the cost of consuming whole blood gauge."

The heat continue to burn, while the pain were reduced. It wasn't fast, but he noticed the change. After around 20 minutes, the stinging had become dull pain.

His initial anxiety of not being able to use his dominant arm was now gone. While waiting for his right arm to recover a little bit more, he inspected the system again, there are a few more features he had not checked yet.

First, he opened the item window. As he did that, the usual window interface shown up. But there were only one item there. He held tap the item with his mind and the information he intuitively guessed would show up was shown up.

[Evil Dragonfang Sword] [Blessed by Mortelix]

[Rating: Mythical]

[Weight 1 KG]

[Sharpness rating: The limit of this world]

[A very lightweight sword made out of Mortelix's fang after he was slain by Dio Dragfell. It is small, sharp. A faint dark purple aura emenating from the sword's guard to the blade. Making it indestructible.]

"What does the sharpness rating mean? If it was the limit of this world why couldn't I cut those level 50 vines? Maybe because my strength were too low?"

He knew no one would answer him, so he stopped thinking about it and closed the item window. He checked on the top right of his vision and he found compass.

"Probably this was the effect of some of the dragon's wisdom."

The short pause gave him enough time to restore his right arm to useable condition. He took away his sword and put it on the scabbard and continue his journey. To Eternia Kingdom.

On the way he saw many skeletons, armors, and some other old rusty equipments. He decided to not loot these old stuff since the durability of these items were probably already gone bad.

He also saw so many arrows lying on the ground and some of them were diagonally stuck into the ground. He made a guess of how these event played out, and he smiled.

"I am close to Aelk Mountain."

The frontmost defense of Eternia Kingdom. The place where the first human bow saint, Legoland was born.

According to the map he remembered inside his head when he was reigning as a king, the entrace to climb up the mountain is located on the north east of this mountain.

-

The entrance path guiding upward was very narrow, only enough for one person. His idle thought wondered on how did even the Aelk Village in this mountain survive with entrance path as narrow as this. The mountain were so large, even though the path upward were spiral when one look from far away. But when someone was to walk the path themselves, the path feels straight. It was how big the mountain was. The rumor said that one would need to be Aelk Village local or the village sentinel's guidance to find the way to Aelk Village. The middle of this mountain was a small area that looked like a bowl. It was big enough to house a village, but compared to the sheer size of the mountain, it was still considered small. Hence the need of a guide.

When Charles were tracing the path upward. He heard several footsteps coming closer.

Drap drap drap…

Charles wondered if they were a harmless local of Aelk Village, or a group of bandit.

"Better safe than sorry." He thought.

Then Charles increased his pace a little bit. He made decision inside his head that if they didn't try to attack him after awhile, then they were probably the locals from Aelk Village or some harmless people.

He finally stopped and found a branching path, both path were the same in the horizontal direction which is in the direction of hugging the mountain. The only difference was, one path was more steep than the other. He stopped on, and the steps behind him came closer.

"Hey, are you lose kid?"

"A little bit. Do you know which way is the path to Aelk Village?"

"Of course I know."

But the bald middle aged man didn't continue talking. Instead he bore his eyes into him, as if inspecting him.

"Hey kid, where is your parents? Where are you come from?"

"Where I come from…? I don't have any place called home…" 'At least not anymore.'

The middle aged man grinned a little bit wider and checked on him again once more to make sure of something.

Charles looked like a weak young man, only a little bit of muscle mass hinted behind the trace of his clothing. Long white hair uncombed. There was no insignia or emblem attached to him.

"Well kid, don't worry about it. This uncle will tell you the way to Aelk village naturally. First could you tell me where did you find this sword? This noble uncle also naturally know that the sword of yours have better use."

'Why would he want to know the origin of this sword? Unless he wanted to sell it?'

Charles was familiar with the look that this bald man's eyes gave away. The tragedy that befell him flashed a little bit, and it affected him. Then he made a quick guess. He didn't know how much attribute points a normal human would get each level, but he guessed 5 points since he had 5 attributes: strength, agility, magic, vitality, and mental. Considering his initial status was all 50 points, and he just gained extra 28.5 points today from 19 level ups to level 20. His current attributes points were now all 75 pts because he had to make them balance. Nevertheless, he knew that he was stronger than these bandits, because each attributes effects are enhanced by 1.5 times again. In total each of his attributes are now equal to 112.5 points each.

He felt someone was watching him from another cliff behind a tree one level above this ground. That person could be the real boss of this group, so he thought he could handle this group as long as he quickly run away after he injured or killed this group.

'I have to launch surprise attack before I lose this advantage' He thought while trying to keep his calm face.

As he thought so, he took the scabbard in front of him and slowly open his sword, slowly.

Shiiiiiinggg…

The sword didn't shine like other swords do. The silky-pearl color and the slow drawing motion he did captivated the group of people that followed the bald middle aged man.

"Oh, this sword was given to me from my father!"

At the end of his sentence, his pitch and volume was raised while he dashed forward. All those performance was to get the opportunity to take the surprise attack.

However good he was with sword back then, his current body was akin to his 19 years old self. His movements were rough and imprecise, his slash was sluggish. The bald middle aged man evaded Charles's slash and kicked him in the stomach.

"Hahaha, what can a scrawny weak looking boy like you do against us? I was going to give you a swift death, but now you dared to aim your blade to me. You will feel sorry soon!"

Charles body was tougher than normal human of his level due to his passive skill and constitution. But that wouldn't be enough to win him this fight.
