Wild Beast

Kahina opened her eyes, feeling the difference when entering the qi gather realm. She saw Azran, who nodded to her and then returned to their meditations.

Time goes by. They have been living together in these mountains for three years now.

The sphere in Anzar's body was so solid that he could almost touch it. He is now at the Peak of the Qi Condensation Realm.

As for Kahina, she managed to reach the Early Qi Condensation realm. She can even control her aura.

They often trained separately and also together.

Since entering the Qi Condensation Realm, Kahina has gradually been training to send out her qi in the form of arrows. The power and precision of her attacks improved over time. She chose to adopt a ranged fighting style.

She has created her movement technique inspired by Anzar. Her practice focuses on faster movements over shorter distances, which is better suited for her fighting style.

By sparring together to gain experience, Anzar realized that he had a little more reserve of qi than her, which allowed him to have the upper hand, in addition to the fact that he is two minor realms above.

He was amazed by her comprehension ability.

-----

On a very sunny day, Anzar stopped his meditation and was heading towards the exit of the cave, then Kahina who was meditating said while keeping her eyes closed and with a beautiful voice:

"You are going to hunt them today?"

He replied to her while looking outside in a specific direction:

"their numbers increase the more we advance. We must continue to reduce them."

After saying that, he left the cave and went towards the direction where he was looking.

Some months ago, he had noticed, with his more sharpened senses, that the quality of the qi improves the more you venture into the mountains. So to verify the reason and especially to have a better condition for their cultivation, he and Kahina started to head in that direction cautiously.

They then discovered something they had never seen before.

Wild beasts! of all kinds, some looked like wolves, others like boars..., but what was more surprising for them was their strength, they were faster, had a bigger size than the ordinary beasts, and could also manipulate the qi.

They killed one who looked weaker than the others, and they noticed his meat was delicious and beneficial for the body. It even allowed them to save several days of cultivation.

Then they both started hunting them.

At first, it was fine, and they managed to kill them quickly. The weakest explode into pieces on the first attack, just like the elder of the song family.

But the more they advanced deeper in the mountains, the stronger these wild beasts became, and they also had irregular forms, such as a mixture of reptiles and tigers, for example.

The fight was no longer so unbalanced, they needed several attacks to kill just one, but it always ended the same way, with an explosion of their bodies.

The stronger the wild beast, the better the meat, but it wasn't worth risking their life.

So they tried to ignore them and moved towards the place where the qi was much better.

But these wild beasts had a great sense, each time they approached them, they were attacked immediately, even while hiding the aura to the maximum they could.

Then they tried to go through other paths, but wild beasts were everywhere.

Therefore, Anzar and Kahina decided to hunt them down little by little and move forward without taking any risks.

What motivates them even more to hunt is that in the body of the wild beasts, there is a core, and by absorbing it, all their physical capacity enhances, and they can even gather more qi in their body.

These cores are of different colors: Blue, White, and Red.

Each brings them a certain level of improvement.

Blue is the lowest, and Red is the highest.

The stronger the wild beast, the better the quality of the core.

They must go together to kill a wild beast with a red-colored core because their skin is very hard. While Anzar engaged in melee combat, Kahina chained the arrows from a distance.

However, this hunt won't last long.
