Chapter 23: Jealousy

It was already morning. Starr was humming as she recollected the places that she and Jeff had visited in the past few days. She had planned to teach him a lesson since had hurt her.

"Today is gonna be fun" she said to herself. Nelson has invited her to his party, he is doing a grand opening of his new boutique store today. She told Jeff about it and they had decided to go together.

She placed her hands on her lips and chuckled: I'm sorry Jeff, I'm so bad I made you spend a lot....serves you right.

Today was the fifth day of her stay in Jeff's house.

She was burning with fury because Jeff was just staring at his phone. She looked down at the food she had serve to him which remained untouched. Jeff said: she is here.....That was the first word he has spoken this morning.

"Is a she? Is he playing with me or something" Starr thought. She looked at his retreating figure until he was out of her sight. She saw him yet again but with company of a beautiful girl who swayed her hibs into the house. She wore a short red gown which hugged her figure perfectly.

"She has been smiling weirdly since she got here" Starr huffed internally.

Hi, I'm Lucinda but people call me Lucy. You must be Jeff's friend right?, She said extending her hand. Starr received it and said: "unfortunately I am not', she flashed the sweetest smile that she could get out of her system. I'm his girlfriend right baby?" She said as she looked at Jeff lovingly.

Jeff nodded in approval and Starr wore a proud look on her face. What would happen to us? Lucy said looking betrayed before she smiled. You never told me you had a new toy.... she said to Jeff.

Starr turned pale and felt sour but she replied with a smile " ok let me agree on you with that, yeah I'm a toy but I'm a special one because a special person gets to have me and not a useless one".

Lucy smiled and replied: toys are meant to be played with and thrown away when you've gotten tired of it.

They are different type of toys you know some are played with and thrown away and some are close to the heart, hard to forget and always occupy the mind more than the others, these kind of toys can stay with you forever. Just like my teddy at home I've had it with me since I was three, Starr said.

It will eventually become old you know, Lucy added.

Yes it will but I'm also not spared right? In fact we become old together, that kind of toy is called a special one and you'll never want to neither leave it nor lose it. Replied Starr.

She raised both her hands up accepting defeat "I give up your are wise and also you have a great sense of humor, with a great personality I like you already, she said"

Starr said: "thank you for you great words". She felt being stared at and she raised her head towards the gaze and their eyes met. Lucy watched them closely and also noticed the look in Jeff's eyes which made her uncomfortable.

She leaned and whispered into Jeff's ear which made him tear his gaze from Starr to look at her as he giggled like a girl.

Starr huffed.... such a total flirt and this one a womanizer' she thought. She made a loud bang!! noise which caught their attention "ooh sorry to spoil your happy moments excuse me',she excused herself and ran to her room".

Starr went straight to the bathroom. What does he think he is doing? My thoughts are messed up right now i need a break, she said as she pounced on the bed and drifted to sleep.

She woke up and her eyes met with another pair of eyes and she jumped up. What are you doing in my room without my permission and why are you this close to me?!! Aren't you suppose to be outside with "Lucy".

Jeff smiled internally. Jeff said: This is my house and besides you told me not to knock again... what is that I smell?. She sniffed the air "I don't smell anything " said Starr.

Some is jealous'. She quickly replied: "I'm not".

I didn't mention your name. Did I?, he raised his brows. "Noo" she looked down and bit her lower lips. Jeff could feel something budge in his pants.

When he entered earlier he saw her on the bed with her skirt pulled up exposing her bare legs, he took all in him to restrain himself from pouncing on her.

Go change, he said as he stood up intending to leave. Starr quickly held his hand and he turned to look at her "what's for lunch?" She asked.

He replied: 'I don't know... but Lucy is cooking something'. "Does she even know how to cook', she murmured". You said something? Jack asked.

I said I can't wait to taste her food, she said quickly.

Ooh it's go..... "Starr cuts in' okay get out. She pushed him outside and slammed the door hard".

Jeff laughed loudly, tho he didn't hear what she said but he loved her reaction.
