"A personal invitation from the Grand Minister himself? This must be an event of a lifetime." Korbin smiled politely.
"My youngest daughter's birthday is in two day's time."
"Oh?" Raising an eyebrow, Korbin put on a feigned expression of interest.
"I sent a message to Your Majesty about this a week prior, but I see that it never made its way to your office."
"Erm… A servant must have lost it somewhere." He scratched his head, his eyes darting towards Daphne. "Or I must have been a bit busy."
He made it quite obvious what he had been busy with.
Taking the cue, Daphne fell towards him, her chest grinding against his as she gave out a light whimper. "Korbin, my stomach is hurting again…"
"You're nothing but a war prize. You shall not call His Majesty by his full name!" The Grand Minister interjected, but Daphne pretended like the pain blocked out everything.
