Payment

The door closed shut with a bang. 

There was an awkward moment of silence between the two of them. 

Daphne could feel the hard object press against her lower abdomen. For the past while, she had been noticing how it became harder and larger. But since the Grand Minister had been there, there wasn't much she could say about it. 

But now that the older man had left and their stage show was over, she immediately sprang away from Korbin. 

He coughed, slightly shifting his robe to hide the bulge. 

Daphne only cared about one thing, completely brushing away his current predicament. 

"Where's my city?" She sat down and crossed her arms. "Don't tell me you're about to go back on your words." 

Korbin took in a deep breath, trying to convince his mind to stop thinking about certain things.
