8. Invitation for a special day

I was doing my work when someone knocked on the door. I turned my eyes to Jeon-soo, he stood up from his seat and went to open the door.

A wolf was standing there with an envelope in his hand, he must be here to give that. I turned my attention to my work again.

"What is it?", Jeon-soo asked him. After this line, I didn't hear what the two were talking but I saw Jeon-soo going out of the room.

I didn't bother to ask.

After some time, I heard the door creaking sound, I knew it could only be Jeon-soo. I raised my head to see him, that envelope was in his hand now.

"Is it something important?" I asked him.

"Ah! yes."

I put down my pen and gave all my attention to what he would say now.

"It's from the Moon Stone Pack.", Jeon-soo said.

"It must be about the Scared Day."

"How did you know?"

"Isn't it for it to take place around this time of the year? I happen to be thinking about it lately.", I said with a sad smile.

The thought of Scared Day just crossed my mind when I was thinking about my mate the last night. The thought was a bit hurting, again this year I will not have my mate with me to accompany me.

"Yes, but it's a bit earlier than the last time, the full moon still has two weeks and they called us a week before."

That's right, they usually call us two days before the full moon and we have to stay there for a total of five days which means two days after the full moon.

"They must have their reasons, is there something going on in other territories unknown to me?", I said raising my brows.

As far as I know, there isn't any dispute between the territories, the rouges movement is as usual. Sometimes there are a few who tries to enter the territory that is quite normal.

"I don't know such things too.", of course, if he found anything then he must've told me first.

"Then they called us the next week, which means we have to be there after three days. If we leave a day after tomorrow then we can be there on time."

"Hmm! we have to prepare for it right away. I haven't started preparing for it, thinking we still have time."

"Is there any restriction on the number of people, I can take with me?"

"No, there isn't any."

"Then, I will tell you who is coming with us."

"Hmm! Just decide on it. I have to tell them too."

"It's not much, I was just confused about whether I should take Jay with us or not. And what about Eunha, if you go then she has to join in too but you just took the responsibility of that pup."

Jay is quite grown up now, as a brother of mine he should join us for the Scared Day, but I don't know whether he like to come or not.

And as for Eunha, Scared Day is an important day when a wolf couple can't stay without each other. They usually spend their time in each other's arms. So I can't possibly separate the two for a special day.

"Yeah, I totally forgot about that. I will tell you after confirming with her. Then what about others."

"Then it's me, Jay, Hwan, and Iseul mainly, you can choose a few more people with us, Myung will stay here to protect the pack in my absence and I will ask Jay by myself. And talk to Eunha about that too. If someone has any problem then do tell me.", I said naming the required people coming with me,

One of the two Gammas has to stay here to protect the pack and handle work here, Myung is perfect for it. Myung doesn't like such gatherings and especially those old rags there, so he is always the one who stays here behind us.

"Is there any special instruction other than last year's?", I asked him to confirm one more time.

"No, I didn't see any written here. I will ask Eunha and inform you soon and start preparing for us to leave right away.", after saying this he turned back to go out. But I stopped him.

"Jeon-soo wait!"

He stopped and turned to me.

"I think we should leave tomorrow night, it will be better that way."

"Fine, it will not make much difference to me.", he said nodding his head.

"Is there a specific reason for that?", Jeon-soo asked.

"Ahh... No. I just thought it would be better if we reach there earlier and we could pass through human cities in our wolf form at night."

To reach there we have to pass through several human cities and it will take a longer time in our human form even if take our cars, we can't transform into wolf forms in daylight. While at night we can go there in our wolf forms, some of us will be coming with the luggage we have to carry in a car. Thus that will be a better way to go there.

"Hmm! you are right. I will be leaving then.", Jeon-soo immediately went out. The preparation will take quite a time and we don't have much of it. Jeon-soo has to prepare a gift for the alpha of the Moon Stone Pack too, the gift will be given by me originally I should be the one to choose the gift but I always leave that to Jeon-soo.

I respect Moon Stone's Alpha too much, he was one of my father's friends. The Moon Stone Pack was the one who gave us shelter after my pack was thrown out of our territory.

This reminds me of some more packs, they will be there too for the Scared day the ones who made our pack a group of rouge and the one I have defeated to take back my territory, the Shadow Pack.
