9. Jay is coming?

I was in my office alone, and Jeon-soo already informed me that Eunha will be coming with us and she wants to take the pup with them. She contacted me through mind-link herself and explained me.

Most of the packs will be assembled in the territory of the Moon Stone pack for the Scared day there can be a chance that the pup belongs to one of the packs attending the ceremony there. I have already sent his information to the neighboring packs but didn't receive any response or any information from any pack regarding a missing pup. So it's better to take him with us there. I also want him to find his parents soon, it's really important for a kid to be with his family.

It is already dawn, and I haven't asked Jay whether he wants to come or not. Most probably he would love to come with me, but the problem lies with Luna she is overprotective of him and she will not allow her to come with me anywhere. And it will be troublesome for him to come to persuade Luna.

That's why I have to go there myself to persuade her, I will contact him through mind-link first and then I will go to his home. He will soon become an adult and be able to recognize his mate, I didn't realize that my little brother has grown up so much.

I think my brother would have felt the same. I miss him, it would've been great if the three of us siblings can grow together.

I sigh left my mouth.

"Jay! Jay!", I called my brother through mind-link, trying to connect with him.

Soon I received a reply from him.

"Jay, I have something to ask you.", I said through the mind link.

"Yes brother, what is it? I will help you whatever it is."

"Jay, You know about Scared day, right?", I asked him.

"Oh, yes I know. I heard Jeon-soo hyung saying something about it to Hwan hyung. You have to go somewhere for it.", he replied.

"Yeah, I was wondering whether you want to come with me or not."

"Ahh..., what! Yea... Yup! I mean I would love to go anywhere where you want to take me, but I have to convince my mother to allow me. Just give me some time I will ask mother and.....", he said non-stoopingly. I can tell that he was too excited, he must have jumped from his seat if he was sitting somewhere.

I chuckled at his cute reaction.

"You don't have to, I will come by and ask your mother myself. I just wanted to ask you first. It will be fun together, that will be our first time going somewhere together. I will definitely convince luna of that. Wait for me at your home, I will be there soon."

"I am heading toward home right now. Meet you there."

After talking I cut the mind link between us,

Pushing my chair behind me a little, I stood up from the table. I can't go there too late at night, so I will leave here for now and then will come back to complete my work if time remains. I don't how long I will have to be there, so I will just close the doors to my office.

I went out of my office passing through other employees, they greeted me. They were staring at me, I locked the office and came out. They must be surprised to see me leaving early.

Luna's house isn't far from the main house office, so I will only walk up there.

I was walking alone, suddenly I heard someone calling out my name from behind it was an old granny from the pack, Mrs. Shin. The granny came to me walking up slowly.

"Alpha Ryan, are you going somewhere?", the granny asked me as we walked down the road together.

"Yup, I was going toward Luna's home.", I said.

"Luna? Do you still call your mother like that?", she asked.

"Ah...!"

"You should know what she did to protect yo....", the granny stopped mid-sentence as someone from her family came running toward us.

"Grannnnnnnny......", a boy a little younger than Jay came running and stopped in front of me.

"Granny. Oh! Alpha. I am sorry, Alpha to waste your time. My grandma is a bit old and is with amnesia, she sometimes went out without telling anyone. I am sorry.", the boy said bowing toward me.

"It's fine, we were just headed in the same direction.", I turned toward Mrs. Shin, "Granny, I will leave from here. You should go back with your Grandson.", I said politely to the granny.

"Thank you, Alpha. The boy held the granny's hand."

I reached Luna's home, Jay was waiting for me out there.

"Hyung, I haven't said anything to mom yet.", Jay said worriedly.

"Don't worry, I am here for that. Let's go inside."

The two of us went inside.

Jay called out to his mom.

"Mom, someone is here to meet us."

Even he knew that she won't come out if he say that I am there, that's why he didn't take my name. But there's no need for she can smell me.

"Why are you here?", she came out bursting the door.

"We can talk calmly.", I said.

She calmed down and gestured for me to sit inside. Jay also followed us.

"I won't swirl with words, I want to take Jay with me."

"How do you think that will let you take him anywhere you want?", she said plainly.

"But mom, please hear out hyung once, please.", Jay said whining at her.

"I know where must have wanted to take him, to the Moon Stone Pack for the Scared Day celebration. Right?"

Words already reached her ear.

"Yes, it is. Jay is an adult wolf now and he is the son of the previous alpha and the brother of an alpha. It's important for him to go such places, he should learn how things work in our world.", I said explaining to her.

I do not have anyone to hold my hand when I stepped up as alpha, but I want my brother to learn everything.

"I understand, that's why I won't med in this. It's only Jay's choice whether he wants to go or not. I am okay if he wants to. Of course, I would never want to send him to a dangerous place.", she said.

"So, that means, I can go with hyung.", Jay said excitedly.

"If you want then, yes.", she said with a sigh.

Wow, it took less than five minutes to persuade her. Great!

"Love you, mom.", Jay said hugging her mother.

"I promise that I will keep Jay safe.", I said smilingly seeing the two of them.

I must say, that she is good to Jay. And their bond is something great.
