12. The Day before we leave

"Let's talk inside.", Jeon-soo said.

Eunha must have told him to talk with me.

I nodded my head and went into my room. Coming after me Jeon-soo locked the room.

"You are making me anxious I hope there is nothing serious about the pup's condition.", I said with worry.

"Dong-yun that's his name.", Jeon-soo said.

"Yes! Eunha gave him that name. But why? Doesn't he know his own name? In that case, he can be a rouge."

"Except for the kids, none of us saw him converting himself. The kids were alone, Eunha went out for a minute when she heard a groaning sound coming from the room. When she reached the room she saw him in his human form trying to cover his eyes from the bright light. According to what other kids said it can be his first time converting himself. He didn't let anyone touch him for a while."

"Why didn't I be informed the very moment the pup converted himself?", they should've called me before.

"The news regarding the special day came out of the blue and then while I was out preparing Eunha suddenly informed me about the kid. I tried to make contact with you but I was too far and then I forgot as I came back. It's all my wrong.", Jeon-soo apologized to me as he said this.

"This is all just excuses, next time in such a situation ask Eunha to inform me.", I said in a commanding voice.

I know that he was caught up in so many things and may have forgotten to tell me. But as my beta, he should be careful that I must get informed about things timely.

"I will keep that in mind."

"So it's confirmed that the child isn't a rouge, right?", I asked to confirm.

A kid from rouge parents learns to convert themself earlier than the child born in a pack. For both types of pups, the conversion happens naturally when they got stimulated by the nature. For the rouge kids sometimes it's the desire to live on when they are left by their parents and for the pack pups the reason can be different. The pup seems to be around a year old, if he was a rouge then it can't be his first time to transform. Wolves cry out loud when they transform the very first time, Eunha heard him screaming and the kids saw him converting.

"Most probably! that means his parents must be looking for him."

"Doesn't the kid say anything about his parents or family or where he came from?"

"No, he rarely utters words from his mouth maybe he is finding it difficult to use words and pronounce them as a human, and because he is from a different pack it's difficult for us to mind-link with him. Eunha told me that he was terrified of her the first time he saw her after conversion but calmed down after smelling her."

Jeon-soo seemed to be tense about this too.

"I think he doesn't remember the faces much but the smell."

"Yeah, right! He is slowly adapting to everyone in the house yet he is conscious of others who he doesn't remember, this morning he threw a vase at the lady who came here to talk with Eunha.", Jeon-soo said with a tired expression.

"He will learn soon.", I said smiling imagining what the young pup must have done.

"You seemed to be tired is everything done or are there still remaining things to do."

"I have already brought the gift we are taking away and packed all the required things we will be needing during our stay. Eunha will pack the bags for the three of us.", Jeon-soo said.

"Oh! I will thank her for this."

"Amm..., I mean me, her, and Dong-yun."

Ah! he is talking about the pup, I forgot that the pup will go there with us.

Jeon-soo is lucky he has someone to be by his side and help him with such things.

"Fine. I know I will pack mine. Tell me if there is something remaining I will help you with that."

"Only the camping stuff remains to load in the car, everything else is ready. On that, did you ask Luna for Jay?", Jeon-soo asked me.

Removing my shirt I answered him.

"He is coming with us, Luna agreed to send him. He seemed quite pleased with that, it will be the first time for him to come with me.", I pulled out a sweatshirt and pajamas from my wardrobe.

"Great then. There's one more thing I want to say, if you can please don't ask Dong-yun about his parents arbitrarily. Even though he is small but a kid's mind is fragile, I do not want him to feel that we are trying to get rid of him as soon as possible."

"I understand don't think of me as some senseless.", I said as I shut the bathroom door.

"I know you are not.", "If you were you haven't taken in the pup.", He said the second phrase silently but I was able to hear it.

"Jeon-soo!!!", I called out for him from the bathroom.

"Yes", he answered.

"You do not have to come with me for the patrol, I will go myself. Sleep early, you have a lot of work for tomorrow too."

"Okay...", He said as he left my room.
