Waiting For Aslan

"Would you like to rest, Your Highness?" Sarah asked.

"Yes, the trip was a little tiring," replied Rosie with a smile.

A maid offered Rosie to bring her the bag containing some medicine. Rosie looked doubtful at first and shook her head.

"It's very light. I can carry it myself," Rosie said quietly. She felt that she didn't need help with such a small thing as this. She was not a royal princess. Rosie was even able to lift a gallon of water. She didn't want to get used to this easy life.

Sarah invited Rosie to go up the stairs. The girl frowned at Aslan's castle, which looked cleaner than usual.

"Sarah… I remember there was a large red carpet that stretched across the stairs as well as on the floor?" Rosie asked, questioning her suspicions because she remembered well that there was a large red carpet there.
