Finally, Rosie Meet The Clean Lake

Rosie skimmed through the part where the female lead was pregnant, and the story ended happily. Perhaps if she hadn't had a miscarriage, she would have felt that it was the perfect ending. However, Rosie had gone through something terrible and seeing another woman's happy ending even though it was just fiction, it was bittersweet. The loss she had tried to hide flooded her again.

Rosie glanced at the window where the sky was starting to turn orange. The night had come, and Rosie was still comfortable in that position, although perhaps Aslan's body was starting to feel stiff because she had been lying there for several hours.

Rosie put the book down.

"How is the story? Did it live up to your expectations?" asked Aslan.

"Hm-hm, those two are my favorite couple. They also have a happy ending," said Rosie.

"Would you like to have dinner now?"

Rosie shook her head. "I want to meet Hilda."

Aslan nodded, then let Rosie stand first.
