Aslan's Honesty

"But, were you really a knight? I heard from Gary and Stu that you would teach them swordsmanship?"

"Yeah. I used to be a knight. I even started as a lowly soldier guarding the city. No name, just doing the job. I was often called by the number on my shirt and always sacrificed at the forefront of the war."

Aslan put his hand on the edge of the ship and remembered his past.

Even though he had Montgomery's name behind him and King Villiers also enrolled him in the academy, it didn't grant him the privileges that the nobles got.

Without any power from his father, Montgomery's name was just like a decoration to sweeten his name. It didn't help him in getting through the day.
