Arc 2 Chapter 46 War Of Belief

Fairies, a race made for magic. They are children of spirits. Fairies are powerful magic users, but they are physically weak. This made two ignorant gods ignore them. Leading to a unnecessary situation. Humans, a disgusting creature, controlled by greed and racism. Not being blessed by their gods, means you are evil and your race must die. This led to a very bad situation, where war broke out between humans and fairies. A race of purity, representing of the gods themself, discriminated against, by the humans.

A small child flew through the forest. Her home was burning, a classic tactic, performed by humans. The child's mother ordered her to run, as they fought of the invaders. Like the good daughter she was, she listened to her mother. Luckily the child was not being chased, but that did not stop her from running. She would not stop, until she was told otherwise, or something stopped her. Sadly the second part would become true.

A soldier skipping work, was peeing on a tree, when he saw a fairy, flying with all her might. What is a fairy doing here, he thought, as he created a earth wall, to stop her. The girl, unaware of this, flew right into the wall. She simply blacked out, when she hit the wall, head first. The child woke up several minutes later. She felt flames close to her and flinched.

" Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you. Sorry about earlier, you were flying towards a Garbaer nest and your life was in danger, so i had to stop you." The soldier said, as he took another bite, of his food.

The fairy was still wary of the man, knowing that humans were the enemy.

" I promise I won't hurt you, I'm not like them." The man said, giving her a friendly smile. The fairy nodded and pointed towards her home.

" Good let's go and see if we can help." The man said, flashing a smile to the girl, as he started walking. Curious of what the man was planning, she followed him.

The duo walked back, but it turned into a sprint, when the smell of burning flesh reached their noses. The fairy hurried up, but the man stopped her and held her. " Hey let's be calm, we don't want them to see you." He said, trying to calm the little girls nerves.

The duo arrived at a scene out of a horror movie. Limbs of humans and fairies, covered the ground. Sadly less humans than fairies, since they surprised attacked them, right after the treaty. Next to a corpse stood a human, repeatedly stabbing a dead fairy. " That's what you get, you damn lesser being, you dare kill my men." The man said, as he took out his anger on the defenseless corpse, defiling it. The man turned his head in the duo's direction and noticed the fairy hidden behind the man. " Where have you been and why is that fairy alive?" The man asked in anger.

" Run, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have brought you here." The man told the fairy, as he threw her, towards the cover of the trees.

" What's this? Are you betraying humanity? Treason shall be met with death."

" If this is what humanity stands for, than I don't want to be human." The man answered with conviction, as he unsheathed his sword.

The evil man, not wanting to hear more attacked. Both of them tested each others swords and one of them proved superior, launching the other one at a tree.

" You damn inferior, you think you can fight me? You don't even have a blessing, think twice, weakling." The man said, as he remembered the fairy. " Sorry, but i have to kill you quickly, can't let that disgrace live." He said, as he ran towards the fairies friend.

Not wanting to die yet, he stood up again. His left arm broken and left leg shattered, he stood up, with great pain. " Haha, how pathetic, your betrayal won't even be remembered, other than it getting your family killed, that is." The man laughed and mocked the other man.

" I won't let you hurt anyone else." He said, enlightening his spirit once more. He launched towards the evil man, hoping to kill him, but only lost his life.

" Pathetic." The man said, as he spit on his corpse, now where is that fairy.

The man followed the smell of the fairy, like the animal he was. He found her hiding behind a tree several hundred meters away.

" Haha, now i only have to kill you, then i can drink the blood of your parent." He said, trying to get as many emotions out of his victims, as he enjoyed their despair.

" Humans are truly disgusting." A hooded man said, as he pierced the humans heart.

" Sorry about the gruesome sight, Join me!" He said, as he outstretched his bloodied hand towards the child.

I was at peace, yet again, as the energy of chaos embraced me. Chaos was calm today, with only slight changes happening. The island from last time, was still here. The three chaoswalkers stood guard in front of me, protecting the crack.

" Let's go, I don't want to stay here." I ordered them, as I struggled to move, something i have been able to do, recently.

The three choswalkers did not complain, about my speed, but encouraged me instead. When i came to the end of the island, the eternal depth of chaos greeted me. Thousands of monsters, of chaos swam and flew around us. I called back, to the time my instincts controlled me and tried to do the same thing, i was able to accomplish.

I opened my third eye, once more gaining true sight. I saw through all that is. Chaos became visible, once more.

I could see billions of different energies coliding in waves of chaos. Every time a big wave would collide with another, a new chaos monster was born. Deciding to try my luck, i looked at one of the new born creatures.

My third eye met with it, giving me a sense of superiority. The monster shivered, in absolute fear., knowing it's doom was near. I mentally ordered the creature through my eye, to come to me. It had no choice but to comply and swim to me.

The monster arrived, at the edge of the island and awaited it's demise. But it's never came, because i sat down at it's back. I looked into the eyes, positioned on it's back and ordered it to act like I wasn't here. I wanted to grasp, how life works and what they do. With no choice, the creature forgot about my existence and continued with it's day, this would be interesting.

I woke up, something i never thought i would. I felt my sore body and the energy it contained. Not wanting to feel so full, i released some of the energy. What followed, was a loud explosion, as lightning destroyed my surroundings. Shocked with what happened, i stood up. I felt different, like i was stronger, than before. I moved out, of the cramped cave, i felt like everything was smaller than usual. I left the tunnel and smelled my kind, but the smell was old, like they were once here, but now gone. That's when I released, this was the cave I fought the Draggore, why was everything so much smaller?

I walked to a tunnel, leading to the nest, but it was abandoned. The only thing i found, was some monster, trying to eat me, but i killed them, swiftly.

When i entered the nest, it was empty, only the smell of my kind was left. Where are they, i thought to myself, as i searched our stone houses. But i found nothing, only more monsters. Worried what could have happened to them, i sped up the search. Thats when i found it, a tunnel, large enough for my kind, but not me. They left, without me? Don't they know I'm alive? Why would they leave me? Doubts filled me, as i tried to scratch the hole, leading to the top. In hopes of following them, returning to my family. But deep down, i knew it was hopeless. I would never find them, when i get to the top, the smell would be gone and i would never find them.

I have to live on my own, survive this ordeal. I will become the strongest and find my kind, even if it's the last thing i do!

With a newly grasped resolve, i started working. Everyday i would hunt monsters, then get back to digging. The size of the hole increased everyday and within several days, i would finally leave, forging my own path. I played with my lightning and water magic, while digging, even using it to dig. Solitude got to me and i started talking to myself, at the second week of loneliness. Every time i killed something, i felt myself growing, like i was scratching at the surface of opportunity.

After two weeks, I finally reached the surface. After reaching the surface, the sun greeted me, blinding me. I was in the middle of a mountain range. Hundreds of mountains, with different kind of weathers surrounded me. I saw big lizards with wings, fly above me, my instincts told me they were wyverns. The wyverns flew towards a snow mountain hundreds of kilometers away. Not wanting to waste time,i started my decent from my mountain, entering the terrain between the mountains.

When i entered the first ecosystem, i was met with hostile monsters. Small wolves, at the size of 4 meters, tried to attack me, but i dealt with them and got some food. Wanting to eat, i punched down some trees and threw lightning at them, starting a fire. Then i simply skinned the wolves, with my claws and put them on the fire.

Several minutes later, i was eating slight burnt meat. I gobbled all the meat down and left, for new adventure.

I felt ready, ready to challenge this floors boss. I can now take out squads of goblin shamans, without using the strategy, i was using. So i started my search, for the next floor. It was a long one, as the enemy's kept respawning, every hour, but i eventually found it. It was a forest clearing, surrounded by giant rocks.

In the clearing stood a giant goblin, with two huge teeth, sticking out of his jaw. In his hand was a giant axe and next to him was several shamans and boss wolves. They seemed to notice me, as the wolves made quite the ruckus.

The giant goblin, looked at me and i looked at him. Unwavering resolve, met with his intimidations. I did something i learned recently. I created hundreds of umbrellas and made them float around me. I made the umbrellas engage in combat, with the shamans, as i rushed the giant goblin. The giant goblin, slashed at me, with his giant axe. Not wanting to back down, i connected with his slash, with a slash of my own. But the giant goblins strength proved superior, sending me flying. Not wanting me to escape, the goblin chased me. I created a pillow of water behind me and stoped my one way trip. The goblin stopped in front of me and looked for any weakness, as we both got ready for the true battle.
