Chapter 76 Meat

In front of me, was the scariest thing I've seen. Why is there dinosaur in the chaos hall.
I was dragged out of my thoughts, by a weird screech. Trying to locate the sound, my eyes were brought towards the skies. A giant flying reptile, with a pointy mouth, like a spear. Remembering it's name, from my childhood. Pteranodon, a flying reptile.
Scared for my life, i rushed out of the corridor and hid inside a bush. It might not be the best choice, but the corridor was large enough, for it to fit inside. So i had no choice, but to hide and hope it didn't see me.
A disgusting smell, caught my nose. It smelled like shit. So i looked around me and found a pile, of dinosaur fesses. I wanted to puke, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.
After some minutes of waiting, I couldn't hear the Pteranodon anymore, so i left the bush, ready for an ambush. No dinosaurs was around me, for the moment, so i tried to walk back to the corridor. Only to find out, that it was gone. Panic struck me, if i didn't have the corridor, that means I'm stuck with these dinosaurs.
While i was in despair, i felt a pain in my leg. Looking down, i saw a tiny dinosaur, known as Microraptor. I grabbed it by the neck and twisted it, killing the tiny lizard. I knew these things traveled in pairs, so i was terrified. I quickly ate the Microraptor and waited for it's reinforcement.
I didn't have to wait long. A bunch of Microraptors came running, out of the bush i was hiding in before. There was about 25 of them, so i did what any normal human being would and ran. I ran with all my might, while tiny raptors hunted me. Their ugly green scales, blended into the forest, unlike me. I was in danger, from running like this and would likely die, from something else, if i continued to run. So i did the best thing i could think of and jumped up on a tree branch. The Microraptors, did the same. But i killed the first one that jumped and jumped down. Holding the dead raptor in my hand, while running. I started to eat the Microraptor, in my hand, as i turned, to run in circles. To not be in unknown territories, where dinosaurs could lurk.
My energy, that was being used up from running, was being replenished by the Microraptor. But i need to kill the others, but i don't have the powers, to just fight them. I slowed down in speed, slight. Letting the first one in their group catch up to me. Resulting in it, jumping at me. But i caught it and increased my speed again. The Microraptor was struggling in my hands, even biting me. So i twisted its neck and started eating it too. That's when something happened, something that i thought wouldn't happen.
(Host has slain a Microraptor and consumed it's meat. + 0.4 status points.)
" What, why are you here, didn't i lose everything that didn't belong to me?"
(Host is wrong, i have always been part of your soul. Buss kun just lied and stole the credits.)
" Wait, why are you responding with actual emotions? Are you the system and not the information part?"
(Host is correct. System wouldn't be able to assist host, with only information part, as it's to weak to bypass the chaos hall. So even against my wishes, as it's hurtful to the host. I will help you personally, for now. Until i have found a solution.)
" That's great, have any ideas, on how i can lose these 23 Microraptors?"
(Why would host lose them? They are easy ways to gain strength. This is your only chance for survival.)
" Ok, let me change my question. Got any ways, to kill these creatures."
(Host simply needs to kill one and eat it, then kill one and eat it. Host will grow stronger and regain stamina. While the enemy number will dwindle and they will get tired.)
(Host has gained mission # Slay 26 Microraptors and eat everything accept the bones- reward basic bone weapon and a follow up quest.# Does host wish to accept quest?)
" Yes" I said, as i continued running, thinking of a way to kill another Microraptor.
Dodging, under a giant branch, i made a backflip up on it. Surprising some of the Microraptors. Some of them were now ahead of me, while the rest prepared to jump up on the branch. But i jumped down and killed two of them, by landing on them. Then i picked up the two dead Microraptors and ran. Some of the Microraptors, still ahead of me, tried to jump onto me and bite me, but i was faster then them.
5 down, 21 to go, i thought to myself, as i bit into one of the Microraptors.
Time skip
This continued for a whole hour, before i killed all of them. If I didn't eat one, every 3 minutes, i would be laying down, in exhaustion. My mission was completed, just now and I'm now going to chose a weapon.

" I want a sword. It's not to risky and more of a safe option. As i have some experience in swinging a sword."

" Wow, that's a lot of swinging, question. If i swing 5000 times, does it register at the 500 000, or do i have to do that one by myself again?"

" System, put 7 points into strength and agility and 6.4 points into endurance." I said, receiving a pleasures felling, from my strength increase. I could feel my muscles grow and evolve. Making myself much stronger then before.
The moment after my strength increase, i picked up the sword. It is 120 centimeters, perfect for me. The bone sword was heavy and sharp, but surprisingly easy to swing. The best part when swung it, my quest numbers increased. Getting right to work, i swung the bone blade, for some minutes. Until i was tired in my arms and had to rest. Waiting for my next prey.
While i was waiting i saw a scary creature. It had feathers all over its body and long sharp claws. It was 2.5. meters tall and terrifying, this is the dinosaur known as Deinonychus. Very dangerous, but it doesn't hunt in packs, thankfully. Sometimes it's good to be a dinosaur nerd. I thought to myself, as i approached the giant beast, trying to stay hidden. But it noticed my movement's and smell and attacked me. Jumping to my right, i narrowly avoided death, from it's sharp claws, that left a mark in the tree behind me. The giant reptile, stared at me, waiting for me to move.
With my bone sword in hand, i ran towards the Deinonychus, hoping to catch it off guard. But it didn't work, resulting in the dinosaur to swing it's claws horizontally. Making me duck under it's claws and launch forward, stabbing it in the chest. Giving up on the sword, i fell to the ground and rolled away. Resulting in the Deinonychus eating dirt.
My bone sword, missed it's vitals, but, the dinosaur was still bleeding. So i started running, hoping to tire it out. But I didn't take it's speed into account. The deinonychus, caught up to me in seconds, swinging downwards at me. So i jumped to the side, but because of the intensity of my jump, i landed on my stomach. So the Deinonychus got a chance to slice at me. Resulting in a giant gush on my back, thats now leaking blood. And because i had to roll again, to get out of the way. Dirt filled my wounds, probably infecting the wound. So i had to kill the Deinonychus, or i would die, even if i escaped.
Getting up again, i was close to it's chest, so I grabbed my sword and used all my strength to take it out. Resulting in the deinonychus crying out in pain. Thanks to stunning it, from the pain, i got a shot, at swinging the sword. Creating a scar, across it's chest, narrowly, missing it's head. Having enough of me being in the lead, the dying Deinonychus launched at me.
I used my sword to counter, one of it's claws, but had to escape, when the other came at me. The deinonychus wasn't willing to let me live, so it chased after me. Trying to decapitate my head. But it was at it's last legs, bleeding out. Just like me. But, in the moment of it's weakness, i ran passed it's claws and attacked one of it's legs. The Deinonychus turned around, but it was to late. My attack to it's legs, almost sliced it of, but it hurt it badly, at least.
The deinonychus stumbled to the ground and cried out in pain. With it's fall, i went for the killing blow. Slicing it's head of, rather uncleanly. Having to swing at it's neck 5 times, before it died. I was feeling bad, because every time i attacked it's neck, it cried out in pain, but i just continued. After killing it, i started to feast on it's body. Unlike the other dinosaurs, this one had some meat, so i could save some, to train my swordsmanship.
So after healing my injuries, i started swinging the sword. After 500 swings i ate some more meat, until i was out. But before that, i got in a crazy amount of 3500 swings. I also gained 4 status points and put 3 in strength and 1 in agility. Making my strength 20 and agility 18.
After that, i completed a hidden quest, where i could chose one armor piece and i chose boots. As i needed shoes, to walk, without getting hurt, in an unsuspecting way. Making me a naked man, with boots, walking the dangerous forest of dinosaurs.
Pov Chaoswalkers third person
" Has he now, i would like to know what he told you and where Ragnar and Paarthadox is." Julia said, with a not so kind smile. But the Chaoswalkers didn't flinch at her hostility and simply answered.
" Ragnar is in chaos and Paarthadox is on his way back, from the eight dimension and might never return. That is up to him, if he has what it takes. We are here on one mission. We will rule justice, until Ragnar returns. This was his order, as he does not trust the young gods to behave!"
" I that so, why would i believe you." Julia asked, not keen on listening to the newcomers, who came here and tried to take authority.
" It doesn't matter, all of you are weaklings of the fourth dimension. You don't really have a choice. Plus, you don't have to worry. We are only watching, making sure, Ragnar's and his faction isn't bullied. Other then that, you can do whatever you want." Another Chaoswalkers said, clearly not interested in these weaklings.
" Fine, but if you step out of line, you will have trouble." Julia said, not wanting to be unreasonable.
" That's all we ask." Another Chaoswalkers said. He terrified Julia, as this chaos walker makes one see hens worst nightmares.
Pov Alice first person
Blood ran down my face, as i fought the Minotaur. I just got hit by it's club. Fracturing, the upper part of my eye. Making it hard for me to see. The blood was blocking the vision of my left eye. But, i was sure i could kill my enemy, before i died. So i tried my best to accomplish that.
My two umbrellas, met with the Minotaurs club, making the air, uncomfortable. I put all my strength into the confrontation, making the Minotaur stumble back, slightly. Taking the opportunity, i launched a barrage of deadly attacks, all with the purpose to kill. Thankfully i succeeded, killing the vile beast.
But when i did, i fell to my knees. Some of my bones were broken, leaving me in a state close to death. So i did what i do every time and killed myself.
Appearing in an altar, i saw a weird, beautiful women.
" Hello child, i am Hestia, i was once one of the hundred Celestials. I am of greek mythology, as we were once called. Before norse mythology defeated us. I can bless you, strengthening you, in these hard times. The best part, even when you leave, you will still have my blessing. All i ask, is that you make people remember me. Not to worship me, i just don't want to be forgotten. Can you do that for me?"
" Sure, i remember you, from my old world. Weren't you, like the only good god/goddess of greek mythology."
" Even if it hurts me to say it, but yes, my family was flawed. But i still love them."
" What can i get from your blessing?"
" You will be able to calm your allies and make them happy. While being able to turn enemies against each other, becoming your ally. You will also get the flame of hearth. The ever kind flame, that heals all it touches. It can heal someones soul and body. It can heal you and your allies alike."
" I accept." I said, not hesitating to accept something so strong. The second i said it, a pleasant feeling filled me, like I finally got something i was missing my whole life. My body lit up in flames, but it didn't hurt, not in the slightest. I only felt nice.
" The flame eats on your pain and sorrow, anger too. But it also gets stronger from happiness. But sadly you have so much pain and sorrow, i hope you will feel better in the future. Remember, the flame will forever grow stronger, goodbye, my apostle." She said, as i disappeared, reappearing in the place i usually respawn in.
