Chapter 97 Destroy Them

~Pov mc~ (Third person)

Light, or at least something similar to it. Hit Ragnar in the face, after walking for a while. In front of him, was the end of the cave and it was pretty obvious. As it was a big opening and the only source of light.

Behind Ragnar, was Alice. She seemed out of breath. From either her memory of the place. Or she walked to fast, as she tried her best, not to lose sight of Ragnar.

Ragnar did not stop, to look at the exit and simply walked outside. As he took his first step outside, the ground underneath his foot cracked. But he continued walking, like it was nothing. But when Alice walked out, she complained loudly. Something about the gravity being annoying.

Ragnar simply ignored her and walked towards a forest. He could feel something in the distance and he wanted to find out, what it was.

Small little creatures, made way for the duo. Not wanting to gain their attention. Ragnar walked through the dark forest, until a mansion appeared. It was huge and it gave him the creeps. But Alice stopped completely and remembered her first time here. Weak, knowing nothing. Now she was decently strong and still knew nothing. The growth, it made her think back to the past. When she was so weak, that she struggled in the gravity zone.

As she was contemplating her past, Ragnar opened the door and just walked in. This annoyed Alice, as Ragnar was acting so different, from his usual self. But she followed him, as she didn't want to lose sight of him, ever again.

Like before, there was a bunch of statues everywhere. The more they walked, the more statues appeared. Until they finally entered the throne room. It had changed slightly. Having a giant stone casket, with what looked like a body inside it. Behind it, was a huge throne. With weird markings, that she could still read.

But, as she was going to walk towards it. A familiar being appeared.

A mix of tentacles and eyes, that made no biological sense, appeared before them. It looked at Ragnar, for some seconds, before changing it's attention to Alice. The beings eyes changed position over and over again. Never blinking. As the creature waddled towards them, Ragnar took a step forward. As to threaten it.

£Hoho, how cute. To think you were this attached to each other.£ It said, as it stopped moving towards them, understanding the message Ragnar was giving it.

" What does it have to do with you, sun vermin." Ragnar said, with a voice, devoid of any emotion.

£More then you'd think. I mean, I started all of this and I'm going to be here, now when you end it.£

" Good for you, let's get this over with. What do you want me to do?" Ragnar said, he was pretty clear about not wanting to be here.

£Very well, just sit on the throne.£ The sun vermin said, with it's eyes taking on the form of a smiling mouth.

(First person)

Doing as I was told, I walked towards the throne. I looked at Alice, before sitting down. The cold seat touched my butt and i felt a burning feeling take over my body. I felt like my body was going to explode. As energy entered me. But then, all of a sudden. I felt a huge drain, taking my energy. Like a truck it hit me and I was left breathless. I rested against the back of the throne and felt myself grow weaker by the second.

A wave washed over everything. The innocent laughed and the guilty screamed in pain. The salvation had come. Wether it was the first or fifth dimension. All were spared and judged. Finally, after thousands of years, of suffering. They were free. Young, to old, all cheered. All those who were left, celebrated the victory of the dimensions. No more, no longer and no further.

Chaos was washed away, like a wave. All creatures released to it, killed. A wave of golden light, descended from the heavens themselves, blessed all beings. Once more, harmony had returned. Life was as it should be. Chaos was gone and harmony blessed all who survived and all who will live.

But, as they cheered. As they prayed to their upper party. No one stopped themselves to ask. Why and who saved them.

As for the man who saved them, where was he, what was he and when was he. No one would ever know.

~Pov mc~ (First person)

It's so dark, so cold. It reminds me of the first time I saw chaos.

I was devoid of any of my senses. But then something changed. As harsh pain, nothing new of course, arrived. I finally saw a shape in the distance.

A big shape, in form of a head. Started to appear in the distance and it confused me slightly. But my confusion wasn't kept for long, as the thing got closer and closer.

As the head grew closer, I could finally see some details. Both of the heads eyes were gray, like it's hair. It had weird, crocked teeth, with a bunch of space between each other. On it's upper head it had long gray hair, with some random bald spots. The beard was uneven, like it was shaved, at different times.

The giant creature opened it's mouth, blessing me with the sight of the inside of it. Not so much to see really, just some rotten food, stuck between it's teeth.

#Alive are we? Not so long. Ragnar was it? Good. I am someone of power, that is all you need to know and you my not so much friend. You need my help and I'm willing to give you just that. For a price of course.# It said to me.

" Oh and what do I need help with, if I may ask?"

#Very good, your capable of decently intelligent thoughts. That will make our conversation much easier. You see Ragnar, when your ass, hit that seat, you kind of killed yourself.#

" What do you mean by that?"

#By sitting on that throne, you took control of all chaos, inside and outside of chaos. The toll on your body, killed you. Now I'm offering you an alternative to death. You just need to do me a small favor.#

" Whats the favor?"

#Oh, it's simple really, just....#

~Pov Loki~ (Third person)

Loki grabbed a warm hammer, with his bare hands. Despite it's warmth, it did not burn him. It just made him feel comfortable.

Next to Loki stood his mentor, or more like teacher. He has been his new teacher, since Slavarsh died. The giant man, was known as Bjornhear. He was a fire giant of true power. Many knew his name, some even feared it. But Loki had grown to like, the rough looking giant.

He had taught Loki many new things. Made him clever, not so easily swayed by emotions. He even taught him, ancient runes. That Loki became a master of. This increased Lokis powers by a lot.

But out of all the things Bjornhear did. Teaching Loki the art if blacksmithing, was his greatest feat. Of course, nobody but them knew of this. As to trick the others. No one could know of Lokis blacksmithing abilities, for their future plans to be successful.

But today was a sad day for Loki. He had to return to Asgard. Since almost a hundred years had passed.

Bjornhear and Loki was at the edge of the lava fall. Loki was waving at the massive giants. Having a tearful goodbye. No one other then them and Surtr, in the distance, where there to say goodbye to Loki. Which was good. The lesser giants, who knew of him. The lesser chance there is for the aesir gods to know of him, visiting this place.

" Goodbye friends, it was good knowing you. May we meet again." Loki said, as he jumped down from the lava fall.

Bjornhear and Surtr had huge smiles on their faces as he jumped. Bjornhear stayed for a while. Overlooking where Loki jumped. The kid was like his own child. So him leaving hit Bjornhear harder then he thought it would.

Surtr lightly taped Bjornhears shoulders and told him it was time to go. So the duo left together leaving the lava fall, behind them.

Loki hit the bottom of the lava fall and sunk into the lava. But the lava no longer burnt him.

Under all these years, Bjornhear had taught him a very special rune. It was a rune, that could bring one, to the place they see as home.

So the next few days, Loki had to convince himself that Asgard was his home. Not nifelhiem or muspelhiem. This would be the hardest task he has ever had. As he truly saw them as his home. Where he belonged. A feeling that was new to him. He always felt like an outsider in Asgard. Like they never saw him, as one of their own and now he knew why.

Loki spent days, lying to himself about his true feelings. Until finally, he was thrown away from this place and appeared in some woods.

In the end, I couldn't even see it as my home. Loki thought to himself, as he looked at one of the forests in midgard. Thankfully from this place, he could get to the bifrost.

So Loki did just that. He waited for some days, until a rainbow appeared. When it did, he flew up onto it. There they were, his so called people. Walking back and forth, doing their every day life activities, such as work.

Loki followed the bridge back. Many aesir greeted him, on his journey back. Loki greeted them back of course. As Bjornhear had taught him to treat people, as they treat him.

As Loki reached the end of the bifrost and the gates of Asgard. Thor stood there, awaiting his arrival.

Thor had a big dumb smile on his face. It irritated Loki, but he couldn't help to smile himself. Out of all the gods in the world. Thor was the only one, he could not bring himself to hate.

" Brother your back." Thor yelled, as he rushed towards Loki.

" Yes, I can see that I'm back Thor. But thanks for telling me." Loki yelled back, as he rushed towards Thor. Only to jab him in the ribs. Making Thor fall to the ground. Before jumping up and punching Loki in the face.

" Oh, now you've done it." Loki said, as he summoned a golden spear shaped staff. With a blade and a orb for runes. On the orb, millions of different runes overlapped each other. Creating the most perfect spear/staff. That could cast any rune. The blade in itself was very powerful and some would say, it rivaled the weapon of The future Thor.

" Much have change Loki. I'm no longer a weakling, that would just lay down and lose." Thor said, as he grabbed his one handed axe tightly.

Thor and Lokis weapons collided and made the gates of Asgard slightly shake. But the bifrost, was on effected, thankfully. Their battle, brought the attention of many. Creating a group of bystanders, who watched them fight. This brought even for attention to them. So finally, minutes after the battle started. Some stronger guards, broke up their fighting and lightly punched both of them. Then they directed them to the all father, as he wished to see them.
