Arc 2 Chapter 157 Guess Who’s Back

A wonder of technology. A city of happy people, living their daily lives out in peace. Trillions of memories, of quadrillions of different beings rooted in the buildings. Telling tales of hero's and villains of the distant past. Here generations of celestials have lived. Serving their lord, a righteous lord who cared for it's people, more than it did for itself.

Gray upon gray, it was the most common color of the city. Most buildings were made of a gray material called Triratum. It was a metal infused with the power's of the celestial of power. It had kept the city safe for quadrillions of years. But now it was all coming to an end.

Omni trillions of united steps shook the earth. An army omni omni quadrillion strong marched upon the defenseless city. With each step they destroyed everything in their path. Be it a skull of a dead enemy, or a toy left behind by one of the fleeing children.

Blocking the bath of the army was an army a tenth of it's size. Victory but a dream for the celestials blocking their path. But they couldn't give up hope. This was their home and their people. It didn't matter if they had never seen war, or if they were a war veteran, all who were old enough stood up to the enemies who invaded their city. They be damned if they'd let someone take their home from them.

Despite the wall of living targets, protecting the inner sector of the city. The army didn't slow down. They marched steadily to the enemy who opposed them.

A thin mist was forming from all the access energy both sides were letting out to pressure the enemy side. But this time, no one's power's were sealed and this would be a fight of power, not numbers. This made the scrubs who defended the realm even less fortunate. For their strongest warriors were either dead for good or captured by the army.

~Pov ?~ (Third person)

"Rachel run, you don't stand a chance against these beings. Please take your child and get out of here!" One Rachel's many friends begged her, as she joined the frontline. But she was to damn stubborn to leave now. The pantheon had saved her at young age, from the grasp of the titans. She was one of the many slaves that the titans used for their daily tasks. But she was saved from the life of slavery thanks to Techa, she would never be able to repay that favor. But she could at least begin to do so. 'Who cares if I'm a celestial officer, I can still do my part. Everything counts in the long run!' She convinced herself, despite knowing the truth. There were many in her situation that chose a different path. They ran away from the pantheon with their children, hoping to build a new life in a different home. 'Cowards!' she thought in the beginning, but later on stopped judging them.

Now hours after her decision she stood at the front, her paws shaking in fear. She had three front legs with the formation of the wheels on a tricycle, with two strong hind legs. She had white fur that covers all of her body, with streaks of red here and there. She had three tails and on each tail the tip was red. She had one head with dark blue eyes, with pure dark pupils in all three of her eyes. She had the face of a fox if one ignored her weird color and third eye. She was about eight meters tall, towering over some of her allies around her. Yet she still felt insignificant standing there. She wanted to shrink, become invisible and leave the place.

She wasn't the only one feeling such emotions, many could sense the smell of loss in the horizon. But they still stood their grounds against tremendous odds. For they would give their lives and souls for the pantheon's well being.

After a painful minute of the sound of marching the enemy pantheon reached their frontlines and all hell broke lose. Rachel jumped on the nearest celestial close to her powers and grabbed it with her mouth. She ragged her head back and forth attempting to rip of the unfortunate souls head. Her sharp white teeth bore into the celestials skin and pierced the flesh even managing to scratch the bones on the neck, while destroying a bunch of nerves. Her venomous saliva mixed with the celestials heavenly blood and started to spread through the whole body, paralyzing the celestial.

With her white teeth covered in blood she jumped back. Watching as the celestial bled out and died, before going for the next target.

Her next target was about her size so she jumped up on it's body and pierced it's skin on it's shoulders with two of her three front paws, while piercing it's the lower part of the celestial's neck with the middle front paw. While using her two hind legs paws claws to pierce the celestial's ribs. After she had a firm grip on her target she bit down on the celestial's head and ragged back and forth just like before. But this time she managed to rip of the celestials head and detach herself from the body. After she managed to jump away from the headless body she threw the celestial's head into the air and caught it with her mouth while biting down with such force the head exploded like a water melon in her mouth. Then with a gleam of joy she gulped down the bloody mess and started searching for her next target.

As Rachel searched for her next victim she failed to notice the enemy celestial sneaking up behind her.

The celestial raised it's sword into a piercing position and was about to stab her in the a$$, but she turned around in the last second and the sword pierced the right side of her torso, going all the way to the other side.

Her blood stained the dirt ground below her, as she howled in pain. But Rachel still managed to evade the next attack from the celestial and attempt a counterattack. But her movement were stiff and she couldn't pull of her attack with her awkward speed.

Luckily for Rachel a friend of hers noticed the situation and came to the rescue. Like a bulldozer her friend charged into the opponent and sent it flying. With the moment of peace Rachel swayed over to her friend and said. "Please pull this sword out of me."

As Rachel requested for her friends help. The friend was kicked in the lower regions and sent stumbling.

Rachel raged as her friend was hurt and launched at the new enemy. Her paw managed to lightly scratch the celestials arms, as it dodged. Rachel landed some meters away and breathed in some air and breathed out poison at her enemy.

The cloud of poison surrounded the foe and brought it to the knees. In it's moment of weakness Rachel jumped it and bit down over and over again, making it a mess of gore.

As she finally stopped, her fur was stained red and her mouth dripping with blood. She looked up and saw her friend coming over, so she walked towards her friend and it pulled out her sword.

"Thank you?" Rachel said to which her friend responded. "No problem, I'll be going now." To which Rachel nodded and ran off to claim her next victim.

~Pov Ragnar~ (First person)

I brought Alice to our room in chaos. She wasn't breathing, but to be fair she had stopped doing that long ago. She didn't have a pulse either, but to be fair she stopped having a pulse long ago. Thankfully her soul was still strong and her body was only showing slight signs of decaying. Which has been decreasing since I brought her out of the realm of speed so she'll be fine.

While I monitored Alice help, I watched the war. It was going smoothly and they were fighting with their lives on the line. If things kept going like this we might conquer he pantheon by the end of the day, knowing this I decided to pay my good friend a visit.

I left Alice in our huge bed, tucked in her blanket and walked towards the prison cell I was keeping the celestial of power. A being who proved to have many connections.

"Why have you come here bastard?" The being said as I entered the room and I have to admit, not the nicest response. But hey, I killed many of it's friends and imprisoned those I didn't kill. If I didn't know better I'd think I was the bad guy. But hey, I'd make a better main character than an antagonist, that's why I'm talking to myself.

"Well, I just wanted to see how you are doing. It's been a couple of harsh days after all!' I said, giving it my classic trade mark kind smile that couldn't enrage a single soul. Or so I thought, it seems to be immune. Because as soon as it saw my smile it started wrestling with it's chains. Hoping to somehow get free and strangle the life out of my eyes. Phew, thank god his trapped, hey, why am I thanking those who worship me? Anyways.

"There's no need to be mad, I won't kill anymore, as a matter of fact it wasn't even my intention to kill any of them. I just trapped most in the soul realm. I'm not a bad guy I swear. I have a purpose for all of this!" I said, wanting to start my arc of convincing this hard headed bastard to be my ally.

"Fuck off, I don't want to hear it. You have no excuse of attacking us, you cruel, evil monster!" It said and I got to say, it stings, not.

"Oh come on don't be unreasonable, we can be good friends."

~Pov Cronus~ (Third person)

"What's a guy like you hoping to gain by entering the battlefield?" Cronus said, as the next being appeared. To which the being said.

"I am kragmachine, Kobraiel and Howard, together we are known as the perfect being. We are but a humble servant of Ragnar who have grown to the point of helping him!" The being said. It was made out of red blood and machine parts. While being in the form of a bunch of wings and eyes. If God saw it he would scream in rage at the bad imitation of one of his seraphs. The difference from before was now it had three heads, even if they lacked eyes on their head. The faces represented their past lives when they were three individual beings.

"Ragnar sure has some interesting beings under him. You are a servant of the seventh dimensional being known as system, why have you come here claiming to work under Ragnar?" Cronus said, not believing them for a second.

"The system helped us attain the strength of a sixth dimensional being, but it was all to help Ragnar. All of us serve Ragnar and did so even eight million years ago. Now let us join this war, it has been going on for far to long!" The being said, as it was ready to leave.

"One more question!" Cronus said.

"Ask away, it's not like we're on a time limit."

"What is the system's purpose with helping Ragnar?"

"Oh that's simple, they ultimately have the same goal! All is for the sole purpose of killing God!"
