Chapter 212 Outnumbered

All that is came to a stop, as the flowers withered and mortals weeped. All ongoing wars came to a halt, god, celestial, titan and giant, no matter what dimension or faction they belonged to, they paused. Their hearts filled with an eerie emptiness, a feeling they've never felt before, like they lost something they didn't know they had. They felt lackluster, unwilling to even move.

A lifeless head laid on the ground, even in its last moments it stared at its killer with unwavering determination. Red shot, filled with pain and sorrow stared into the killers eyes.

Sadly it would not remain, after death the body of Heimdall started rotting, disappearing in front of Ragnar's eyes, until nothing remained, all but the emptiness was left to prove Heimdall had been killed.

In the midst of war in Norse Mythology, they stopped only for a second, many unaware of who had died. But not all were unaware and their anger could only be quenched by the blood of their enemies.

"For Heimdall!" a celestial screamed, casting aside all regards for its life and running into the massive hordes of enemies. Sadly it was ruthlessly killed, but it was not alone.

Ragthor and the rebels suddenly had the tables turned on them, as they felt pressure never before witnessed. An endless amount of enemies swarmed them, doing everything in their power just to injure one enemy. Their souls were screaming in rage, having lost control over themselves, giving into the raging beast inside their hearts.

They became possessed in the quest for revenge and stopped at nothing. Slowly Ragthor was pushed back, completely losing their footing in the realm they were invading.

In the midst of chaos, an eye opened. It was bloodshot and filled with anger. "Son", the man said and stood up. He was very injured and wouldn't be able to contribute much in his current state, but it had to do, he had to do! Without any regards for his life, like all his followers the man grabbed his spear and joined the battle.

Fighting amongst his people, Odin the all father slaughtered fifth dimensional beings left and right. Wishing to drown his grief in the blood of his enemies. He lost himself in the moment and became a mindless beast just like his followers.

Even Ragnar was stupefied what he had just done. Him, just like everyone else felt empty, like he had done something wrong. He felt like he had betrayed humanity, but he didn't know why. So instead of worrying about it, he ignored it like he always does to his problems, then he prepared himself to face the storm called Norse Mythology.

With a sword made out of Nightwater, Ragnar left his realm. He didn't even get to spend a second outside his realm before a heavy, stone hammer smashed his face into oblivion.

Ragnar's body acted like a doll, as he rocked back and forth in the air, before coming to a stop, when hitting an enraged female celestial.

Blond hair, blue eyes and a motherly look. She was clad in a silver armor, completely covering her body, except from the head. She was staring holes in Ragnar, who she just caught with her hand, and was about to execute.

"Hold him still dear, I'll smash him do pieces!" a raspy voice yelled, as thunder cracked and Ragnar face was smashed by a hammer again. This time though, he wasn't sent flying, as he was held in place.

"Stop being so damn sturdy and die already! Sif, crush his head like a melon." the man yelled and slammed the hammer into Ragnar's head again, while Sif used all her strength to crush him."

Ragnar sighed and answered in kind. His blade of Nightwater suddenly pierced Sif's stomach, making her yelp in pain and let go. After his surprise attack Ragnar span around and hit Sif with a full on blow to her chest, sending her hurling into the unknown, then he turned around to clash with Thor's hammer.

The weapon of energy and the mighty soul weapon of Thor fought for dominance, as they destroyed everything in the vicinity. Thor roared in rage, lightning raging from within his deeps.

He slammed his hammer time after time against Ragnar, but he was met with a wall. Each strike would be paired, completely blocked or even countered. Not even when Sif returned and swallowed Ragnar inside a dome of earth did Thor succeed in landing a hit.

Ragnar simply walked out of the dome of earth created by Sif. His eyes were absorbing the light created by Thor's lightning like a blackhole. A black mist spread around them, as everything became moist.

Ragnar raised his black blade of energy high into the air and brought it down on Thor, who answered in kind with his own attack. The two struggled against each other for a nano second, before Sif joined the battle again.

With a bow made from Yggdrasil's Sif joined the battle once more. She fired arrow after arrow, each containing a mighty force capable of knocking Ragnar of his feet, if he's to be hit that is.

Ragnar masterfully danced between his opponents arrows, while fighting Thor. From time to time he took cover behind Thor, using him as a shield from his wives arrows. Thor was having none of it though and gave into his rage even further each strike was covered in more lightning, as Thor became lightning in its purest form.

At this point he wasn't even trying to fight with grace, he was a beast, lost in the moment.

"Give me back my brother!" he howled, as he attacked with everything he had. As the hammer met with Ragnar's, Ragnar was actually overpowered and forced to take a step back. Just then a arrow pierced his chest, only to disappear into sparks, with no wound in sight.

Knowing he couldn't hold back while fighting both of them, he decided to use his katana. So with slight regret he pushed Thor back and grabbed the air, pulling out the ever cutting sword.

The realm instantly suffered even more injures, as Ragnar literally took out something used to destroy the fabrics of reality.

Thor cared little for the new weapon and attacked in the moment of rest. But Ragnar clashed with the great hammer. The hammer instantly received a chip on its edge, but wasn't cut in half. With even more lightning taking the chip's place, Thor didn't even acknowledge that it was there. His eyes had long since lost its focus and now only madness remained.

Sif was well aware of that fact and used it to her fullest. With each uncontrolled attack from Thor she would cover his openings, protecting him from the dangerous monster who killed Heimdall.

"I'll f@cking kill you!" Thor screamed at Ragnar, his hammer finding its way to Ragnar's face once more. Despite the new weapon, Ragnar didn't want to use it fully, fearing what he might do to his allies. The blade didn't discriminate while he was a sixth dimensional being. It controlled itself, not Ragnar.

With each arrow, he was forced to give them some more ground. He would answer all Thor's attacks when allowed, but he was rarely given such pleasures. Sif made his life a hell when it came to countering. He gave up on that thought fully, and decided to do something else.

Sif yelled in agony as a sword pierced her heart, she turned to dirt and appeared far away from where she was injured. Yet the injury that was supposed to be gone, left behind in her old body remained on her. It was nothing major, as gods and above doesn't need hearts and such to survive, but her soul was the most injured and it would take time to recover, time she didn't have.

Ragnar who had appeared behind her, telling her off with his little stunt, returned to Thor once more. This time the angered blue ball of energy was giving up on the idea of only using his weapon and started slamming his body onto Ragnar.

This time however, Ragnar was ready. With no pesky Sif for the moment, Ragnar could actually fight back. His fist found Thor's face and decimated it. Thor's head was dented and his nose destroyed, not only that, he was also pushed back from the attack.

He was sent flying towards Sif and hit her, just as she got up. As the two tried to regain their advantage again, Ragnar reappeared next to them and cut Sif's arm off. He had aimed for her head, but she managed to avoid it he last second, but at the price of her arm.

Of course Thor didn't take to kindly to this and Ragnar had to block another set of angry swings from Thor, who gave no shit about holding back.

Around them the realm had already given up and they were fighting in the middle of the sixth dimension. A place Ragnar didn't belong to, obviously. This time however, instead of checking what was happening, everyone else stayed clear from the battle. Especially after what happened last time. Everyone of them had felt the death of Heimdall to boot. A man who had lived longer than all of them. He had been like a farther figure for many, especially humanity as a whole, as he was the one who taught them runes.

Thanks to this Thor's rampage was left to be dealt with by Ragnar, who had no plans to extend their fight for much longer, if he could help it. Sif had rejoined as they reached this place. Her soul might be wounded, but it doesn't mean she can't fix her outer body. So she was still in the fight, firing her damned arrows at Ragnar.

Just as Thor was about to slam into Ragnar again, Ragnar disappeared, only to appear next to Sif again. His sword finding itself in her stomach. He twisted the swird, making stiff scream, but she wasn't helpless and used the time to stab two arrows into his shoulder and kick him in the stomach. Sending him hurling through the sixth dimension, while being chased by an angry Thor.

Ragnar plucked out the two arrows in his shoulder and confronted Thor. The their weapons collied and a explosion resounded through the dimension and Thor was sent back. Ragnar regained his position, with no viable injuries. He wasn't even out of breath yet, simple fact was. They had yet to actually injure the current him.

Thor came back within a frame of a moment and attacked Ragnar again. Sif decided to go all out too at this point and enhanced her husbands powers tremendously. Together Ragnar was pushed back again, he struggled to keep up with their collective might. But as long as he landed more injuries on Sif or Thor one of them would wear down eventually.

Their battle returned to the realm with the help of Sif, who decided to send them to the middle of Asgard, where Váli was waiting for them. A light shone upon Ragnar for a second, as he was sent hurling through Asgard, with three 70th layer celestial on his tail.

Ragnar was almost consumed by rage seeing that light, it reminded him of his father, a man he despised with all his collective might. Needless to say, Sif and Thro became insignificant to him and he focused solely on Váli. He pushed aside the two powerhouses and clashed against the light Celestials, instantly injuring him.

Ragnar cared not for injuring innocent now and used his sword to (cut), and that it did. Váli was instantly cut in two, of course he returned moments later, but he was still shown the difference in power with just that. But Ragnar had given Thor and Sif space to regain all their bearings and so they attacked him together, now with new help from Váli.
