Too much to ask

Kate entered the house feeling pissed. She was on the phone with her father some moments ago. She tried complaining about her marriage and how she would like to get a divorce, but he kept reminding her of how life is about sacrifices and responsibilities. He also told her not to ever think or mention 'divorce' again, so as not to bring shame to their family's name.

She climbed the stairs and went to their room. This room reminds her of everything that she's trying to escape from. She delcided to pack her stuffs and move to another. She was still packing when the door creaked open and Mason came in, shirtless.

"What are you doing?" he asked looking confused.

"Packing."

"You are leaving?"

"I think I should consider that," she blurted out angrily.

He watched on as she shoved some of her clothes into a box and zipped it up when it was full. She took the box by the handle and began to drag it to the door, but Mason blocked her path.
