Just then, Robert entered, immediately turning away at the sight of Dr. Montana checking her wound. 


"Huh, sorry! I’ll step out," he stammered. 


Dr. Montana smirked. "Wait here. I need to check on you next." 


Robert groaned. He had a feeling this was going to be a long morning. 


James entered Adeline's room and was taken aback to see Robert standing with his back to the wall. Startled, he quickly apologized, "Ah, sorry! I'll come back later." 


Without waiting for a response, James turned and hurried out. 


Robert hesitated for a moment before deciding it was best to leave as well. Without making a sound, he quietly slipped out of the room.
