Tar's PoV
It was so sad to hear Liz's story, after all she shouldn't one to be blamed because she's too young at that time of kidnapping. And one more thing, as Liz stated that her sister made herself a bait and sacrifice considering that her sister don't have any choice and Liz just followed what her sister said.
It was twelve thirty in the afternoon when we're done eating and decided to stay this table a while.
"Nii-san, maybe I'll go first," Mel said and the she stood up.
"Uhmm okay you can go first," I said and we do the usually thing which is to kiss each other's chicks.
"Oh how about you Liz? Where's your room? Want me to accompany you?" Mel ask.
"Oh.. sure sure," she answered and grab her things.
"We're leaving now," she politely said.
"Bye nii-san, I'll see you later," Mel said.
"Uhmm take care and be good at class, okay?" I instructed.
When they leave I get my cellphone and look for my IG account, I just scroll there and then posted our pictures earlier. It has caption: Thank you Lord for this new school year, a new page to turn and new friends to be found.
After I posted it, I tagged Liz and my sister Mel, afterwards I posted it on FB too that has the same caption. Even I got a certain count of likes is really fine for me, it is also for my mother. Even my mother is addicted to social media. We just wanted with Mel to let her know what's happening to us. My mother is a type of person that you need to let her know what's going on us for her to not worry. Thay kind of condition was very okay for us and we're comfortable of it too. And about my father.. we shouldn't talk about it.
I decided to return this bowl that'd been used earlier, I bring the bowl of Liz too. There's a tray on it for me to not move on great effort, considered that there's leftover on it and I don't want to pile it up. I was walking going to where it should be placed when I'm out of balance and not expecting to bump on someone. Not to mention that this is a worst day of my first day of college because those leftovers were thrown into the guy's uniform who I bumped. I'm now seeing a guy whom I can't paint his face for the reason of his anger.
"What the! What have you done to my uniform!?" he ask infuriated.
"A-ahh I didn't mean to, I'm sorry I didn't mean to throw it to your uniform. It's just that I'm out of balance," I said to him but his expression didn't change.
"You're out of balance?! Ha!? And what? I'll believe what you stated?" and then he grab my collar for me to let go what I am holding earlier.
"I'm telling the truth here," I calmly said considering thay I don't want to engage in fight.
"Ha!" he furiously shrieked.
"I'll believe you.. this time! But if this incident will happen again, that's not only what I can do," and he thrown me. He turned his back and go back on his seat. I was kinda embarrassed considering that there's a people who's watching me. I just don't mind them and pick the tray as well as those bowls that'd been scattered in many directions. I stood up and continue walking earlier without minding them. I went to the toilet room and wash my hands and fix my uniform.
I go back to my classroom because it's time to start the class, and as I remember our subject this time is History. And that kind of subject was I hated the most as well as the Filipino subject, however even I hated them I have enough knowledge for those subjects just to defend myself if the teachers are going to ask me.
"Magandang hapon sa lahat!" our history teacher greeted in filipino language.
"Magandang hapon din po ginoo," we greeted back in filipino language.
"Maupo!" he announced.
"Ang ating pag-aaralan ngayon ay tungkol sa kontinente," he introductory said.
"Mayroon tayong pitong kontinente sa mundong ito, at maaari bang isa sa inyo ang magsabi ng mga kontinente?" he ask and look at us one by one.
"Sir! Africa!" Lex answered with her hands up.
"Hmm, magaling! Pero kung tatanungin kayo ng tagalog ay tagalog din ang isasagot, maliwanag?" he announced and everyone were quite.
"Ginoo, Asia!" that was Ana, I think.
"Ginoo, Antarctica!" it was Jose.
"Ginoo, Australia!" I don't know who answered it.
"Ginoo, Europe!" it was Gab.
"Ginoo, North America at South America po!" this time it was Julie.
"Aha! Magaling mga studyante. Patunay ngang nag-aaral kayo," he commented for those who answered.
"Uhmm, ginoo!" I raised my hand because I have something on my mind that I wanted to confirm.
"Oh ginoong?" he stopped and seems asking.
"Tareon po ginoo, Tar nalang po para konti," I answered.
"Oh Tar, ano 'yon?" he ask.
"Ginoo, gusto ko lang po sanang ipa-alam na may walo po tayong kontinente sa mundo at may isang hindi nabanggit doon," I basically stated and as I was expecting everyone was surprised based on their faces.
"At ano naman ang panghuli, Tareon?" the teacher ask.
"Ang kontinente ng Zealandia ginoo," I answered and they were confused.
Magaling, palakpakan!" the teacher complimented and everyone clapped their hand. And then he continued discussing.
"Maaari bang magbigay kung ano ang kontinente?" our teacher asked again.
"Ginoo!" Julie shouted.
"Oh binibining Julie?" and then Julie stood up.
"Ang kontinente ay isa sa ilang napakalaking masa ng lupa. Karaniwang tinutukoy ng kombensiyon sa halip na anumang mahigpit na pamantayan, hanggang pitong rehiyon ang karaniwang itinuturing na mga kontinente sa heopolitikong paraan," Julie ended.
"Magaling Julie! Saktong-sakto!" our teacher commented.
"Pero ginoo! Sa heolohikal, ang mga kontinente ay tumutugma sa mga lugar ng mga bahagi ng kontinental tulad ng Madagascar na hindi binibilang sa mga heopolitikal na kontinente. Ang ilang mga kontinente ng heolohikal ay natatakpan ng tubig, tulad ng Zealandia. Ang kontinental na pang-ibabaw ay kilala lamang na umiiral sa ating mundo," she added. I am not the only one who knows about Zealandia, even her too.
"Kamangha-mangha kayong dalawa binibining Julie at ginoong Tareon. Alam mo din pala ang kasaysayan ng kontinente tulad ng Zealandia binibining Julie. Maaari na kayong mag-ingay at kausapin ang mga kaibigan nyo. Nasagot na lahat ng dapat kong itanong. Palakpakan nyo naman ang dalawang matatalinong estudyanteng ito," the teacher said and everybody's clapping their hand and he leave quietly.
The next fifth subject is english, one of my favorite language. I just listen on her discussion about 'The Portrait of Lady' that has eight pages with five poems and every pages has it's own title. I kinda didn't listen about her discussion and get my notebook to write down all necessary information.
