Chapter 6: Interrogation

In MJC HQ Dardenne arrives. He enters the HQ and one of the guard sees him and tells him to go to the judicial room. Dardenne is quite confused. Why suddenly summoned him and now to judicial room? Have they known that they has just recently ravaged realm 22 Normendo? But it shouldn't be any kind of issue. First, Normendo's life form is lowest of all and second they are not even a member of MJC. So it should be ok to loot there. Whatever an attendance to the Judicial room is not a joke. Everything will be clear when he will go to the Judicial room.

He goes to the Judicial room. Little bit curious and also nervous. He stands infront of the door, sees all the three judge sitting in their throne. And they are not in great mood. However Dardenne asks permission to enter the room. Higher judge says

- You are permitted.

He enters. Then asks

- You summond me, sire?

- Yes, we have to interrogate you right now.

Now Dardenne gets more nervous. But he can't give any kind of expression like he did something wrong. With fake confidence he asks

- About what?

Prime judge asks

- Do you remember we sent you on a mission five Megaversial years ago to capture a realm's all living objects?c

Dardenne counts for a while because Megaversial years are a standard time procedure which differs from planet to planet. After a few second he replies

- Oh yes! You've sent us to a realm. What was that realm 27 I guess?

- Yes, it was realm 27. And what did you reported to us about your expedition?

Maybe Dardenne now knows where this going and what they want to know from him. Ok, that's worse than ravaging on Normendo. However he has to give answers. He calmly replies

- We got outnumbered by them and they nearly beat us. Somehow we were able to get out of that realm.

- You sure your report was accurate?

- Why do you have any doubt? We have been serving you for nearly a million of years. Have we ever given you any wrong information about any expedition or any realm? And if you have any doubt call Demenes right now and ask him. He also was a part of the attack.

Now again Dardenne gets more tensed. Did he said much? Because if the judge ask him about the negotiation, there, he have to give them the correct answer. And his lies will get exposed. Then what? He will executed. Now he lower his voice and tries to recover what he said before

- Sire, I have to add something. On that expedition, we faced some unexpected threats. That's why we had not any other option but to retreat.

Judges stays silent for a while and give him a sharp look. Then says

- According to your report, we acknowledged the realm 27's living creatures are strong object of Megaverse and worthy member of MJC. So we sent our representative to that realm. And guess what.

Dardenne with a shaky voice says

- What?

With a sharp look Secondary judge replies

- You tell us.

Now Dardenne has nothing to do but admit everything. With a hard voice he replies

- Ok, Realm 27 is not that strong.

- That strong?

Now Dardenne surrenders

- Ok, they are on weak scale.

- Aaand the unexpected enemy was?

Word is hardly coming from Dardenne's mouth

- N..N..

Takes a deep breath than as a guity person admits

- Ok, Nherumme. Yes, he was there.

- And did you fought with him?

- Of course not, we are not some fools. We wouldn't have any chance anyway. He would kill all of us right there right that time.

- Ok Dardenne, we can understand and we are concerned about Nherumme's power. But if it was just that matter we consider it and give you another chance. But you never retreated. You made a negotiation with him. Now what was your negotiation? Please explain us.

- We negotiated that he would spare our life and in exchange we won't do any kind of harm to that realm.

Dardenne's face is clearly highlighting that he is hiding something

With a heavy tune Higher judge says

- Dardenne, as we all know, among the 27 realms, Howengert is the most bloodthirsty realm. Your soldiers would never step back just so they saw a life threatening opponent. No that's not how Howengert soldiers fight. Do we look like an idiot to you?

With confusing voice Dardenne asks

- What do you mean?

- When you reported you lost to realm 27, we overestimated them. Our wrong measurement could turn into a great event like Megaversial War.

And second we believe you would never agree for any kind of negotiation unless Nherumme offered you something that just made you greedy and you couldn't help yourself and you negotiated. Now I am giving you one last chance to confess us the truth. That may save your life.

Now Dardenne has to confess the truth. With a strong tune Dardenne says

- Ok, he offered us a power stone.

That just shook up all of the judges for a second

- Say, what?

- Yes, YES! He offered and he gave a us power stone.

- What kind of power stone that was!?

- The auxiliary power stone.

That gives a little bit relief to the judges. Because it was Vendal Power Stone, It would be a problem for them.

With calm voice

- How many he had?

- I Don't know. But he gave us one. And now we are wielder of a power stone. Though it is auxiliary.

- Dardenne, what you have done is a clear deception toward MJC.

- So what? Ok, you tell me one thing. We have been serving you for million years, but what we got from you? Nothing. Just a immunity.

- Dardenne, you should know it is not easy to acquire an immunity. Most of the realms didn't even have it till now.

- I Don't care about rulebook. All we did also business. No one is loyal here. They will speak for the powerful ones . You know that. Everyone knows that. No one is for anyone. If you still want to destroy me or our realm, go ahead but remember You'll never get more loyal army than us.

- Dardenne do you understand what will happen if the Guardians or Superior family comes to know about that? All of us will be destroyed.

- So Don't tell them. Easy. Besides Superior family doesn't give a damn about any eternal affairs of Megaverse untill they get power tolls from us.

- When it comes to Nherumme, the Superior family is too much concerned. And now you better be praying that they remain unaware for your foolishness. This time we are letting you go because we don't want to create any situation right now. And soon we'll need your army. Still your king have to face an interrogation about the stone. Is it clear?

- Yes,Sire.

- Now you may leave

Dardenne is about to leave and that moment Unu approaches. And asks

- May I come?

- Yes, you can

Dardenne passes Unu. Unu gives a creepy smile and says

- Long time no see, Dardenne.

Dardenne ignores Unu and with a anger expression he leaves the Judicial room.

Higher judges asks

- So what they said?

- They said " No"

The judges get a little bit angry. Second Higher Judge asks

- Why?

- They have known about MJC's attack on Earth.

- Who told that to them?

- How would I know? You should have keep your eyes on them. Maybe Nherumme came and said that to them?

- It can't be possible. If he entered that area we would know. His power level is high. He couldn't leave This small planet without any trace. Did you feel any external power there?

- No.

The judges thinks for a moment then says

- Then it was not him. Maybe any of the rebellion contacted them.

- That can be a possibility

Unu stays silent for a while then says

- So what now?

- We will use force on them. But bad news you lost your opportunity to claim an immunity.

Unu with fraustrated expression

- I tried my best. Your Howengert idiots ruined it. Some idiot with heavy muscle and zero brain.

- The conclusion, you failed.

Unu feels angry but he calms himself and says

- So whom will you sent this time? Hope not those bunch of idiots again. Why you even kept them alive?

- We'll need them. But for now we are not gonna give them any mission. But I have a better option this time. Not some regular realm soldiers.

- The well known loyal hands of guardians.

Unu's eyes gets bigger. He says with a broken surprised voice

- Don't tell me you are sending...

The Higher judge with a deep voice
